Chapter 25 - TwinTooth Mountain Pack (Not edited)

As we get closer to our destination i start noticing christmas lights wrapped around trees. I smile slightly. It's what we used to do when i was a child. Its nice to know they still do it. I take a deep breath before letting it out as sadness creeps up.

-You okay?- Niyah asks through our link. I nod my head knowing she is looking at me. I slow down to a trot as we come to the clearing where the mountain starts.

-So here it is- i say linking with everyone as i create a temporary link with Alexander and his pack.  I hear chatter amongst the link and smile. I take a step into the clearing only to jump back when a sword is slashed in my face. All three packs growls as i shake my fur out. I look at the man to see the guy who i grew up with until i was nine. Jasper.

"Diana. Is that you?" Jasper suddenly asks getting a good look at my coat. I smile and shift before putting some clothes on.

"It's me Jasper. I'm alive" i whisper out.

"Oh my god. How? We all thought you died with your parents. Look, Loki took over the pack. He thinks he's alpha now. But he isn't leading like he should do. He doesn't care for the pack" Jasper says which makes me tense up. I alwags had a bad feeling about Loki.

"Jasper. Who the hell are these wolves and what are they doing on my teritory? And why are there these christmas lights everywhere?" Loki suddenly growls out. I frown and turn towards him staying silent.

"Uhhh. It's nearly christmas sir... We do it every year. It's tradition" Jasper says.

"You never answered the other two questions and take them down I don't care about the stupid tradition" he says which makes me growl slightly.

"Who the hell are you?" Loki growls out the question to me. I smirk and walk towards him. "Ahh you don't recognise me do you Loki? I always had a bad feeling about you but i hid it away because you were my dad's beta. You aren't and never were the alpha Loki" i say. "Who are you to tell me that. The last alpha pair and child died a long time ago which means the alpha position went to me" Loki explains and i smirk.

"So thats what you think happened huh?" i ask him tilting my head to the side.

"We all felt the loss of the alpha and luna and their child. We know they died. Who are you to say differently?" he asks me and i let my eyes turn red. His angry face morphs into a shocked one.

"How? What? Only the alpha female and her child were female lycons. How are you one?" he asks gripping my hoodie. I hear both my pack and Jaxon's pack growl at this. However i silence them with raising my hand. I pull Loki hands off of me and push him away.

"Dont grab me like that you are setting my wolf and lycon off and i have no pleasure in killing you so..." i trail off shaking my head.

"Anyways... My name is Diana. Diana Fredrico. Yes you felt the loss of my parents. But you also felt the loss of me because i locked away the mind link. I didn't want to talk to anyone when they were killed" i say.

"Diana. It cant be" i hear the TwinTooth Mountain Pack murmer. I sigh pinching my nose.

"Look i will be honest with you all. I never thought i would come back here. There is too many memories of my parents here and i didn't want to relive them. So i hid and traveled the lands. I met people who has grown to be my pack. The Ghost Pack. And then i met my mate Jaxon. It was kinda bad at first between us but now i marked him and he marked me..." jasper cuts me off.

"Wait if you marked him that means he's a lycon now" Jasper says and i nod sadly.

"Yup. Hes also the alpha of the Dark Hallow pack" i say and wince when i hear growls.

"Yes i know Dark Hallow pack was the one who captured me and my mother and father and killed my parents. But that was Jaxon's dad. Not Jaxon. Jaxon and his mum and the entire pack had no clue what he was doing to us or even that he had us. I wont judge a son by his father's actions" i say my eyes turning a mix of yellow and red. I hear murmers and scowl.

"Look talking about Jaxon's father has brought us to why we are here. Jaxon's father has declared war on my pack and Jaxon's pack. He has rouges and hunters on his side. Alexander... Sorry Alpha Alexanders is with us because we are teaching his warrors a few things and ws realised that Jaxon's father knows alot about Dark Hallow land so we had to come to a place he has no idea about. And the only place i can think of is here" i explain.

"Does that mean you are going to become alpha of the Twintooth Pack?" Jasper asks and i bite my lip before sighing.

"I never wanted to come back here but now i realise this i my home. This was the pack i was meant to take over once upon a time so i guess yeah i am here to become alpha" i say nodding. I hear cheers but one growl. Coming from Loki.

"I wont allow you to take away what was given to me. What i took. I challenge you for the alpha title" Loki growls out and i smirk as a Niyah and Mia come to stand beside me fully shifter to their human form.

"Are you sure she is a lycon you know which means she has more power than you do" Niyah says.

"I was always meant to be alpha i wont let her take away my right" Loki growls out and i roll my eyes.

"Alright then." i say and look to Niyah. She smirks knowing that i dont accept a challenge unless i know i can win. I guess i will have to fight for my birth right.
