Chapter 26 - The Challenge (Not Edited)

I sigh as Loki walks away to get ready for the fight. I tense up but then relax when i feel sparks as arms wrap around me from behind. Jaxon. "Are you sure. I can fight him if you want?" Jaxon asks and i frown turning to face him.

"I can fight my own battles Jaxon and this is my birthright. Only i can fight for it" i say letting my lips turn to a smile.

"Plus she doesn't accept a challenge unless she knows she can win" Niyah adds on as i stretch before going into my bag and grab a sports bra and shorts.

"Alright so this fight is probably going to get messy since Loki probably won't fight fair" i say stretching some more.

"Di Di. What loki said before is irking me" Eros suddenly says as he cuddles me. I pull out of the hug to look at Eros, looking at him in confusion.

"What do you mean?" i ask.

"Didn't you hear him?" Kylian asks and i roll my eyes.

"I was too busy trying to push my lycon and wolf back from his lack of respect" I reply to them.

"He said he was given the title, that he took it" Eros explains. My eyes widen before i look over at where Loki is. He's alone. None of the Twintooth Mountain Pack surround him. I growl quietly before turning to face all three packs. "Listen to me carefully. I will fight. I will defeat him. I will become alpha of the Twintooth Mountain pack. They need a proper alpha. Look at Loki. None of Twintooth Mountain Pack are standing around him. Showing they don't like him. No one helps me understand" i say my eyes turning slightly red.

"Yes alpha", "Yes Luna" is heard all around. I roll my eyes at the luna. I guess i tecnically am Luna. I clench my fists as Loki calls out to me. "What's wrong Diana? Are you having second thoughts?" he asks and i turn to face him only to see a smirk on his face.

-That will be wiped off very soon- Drekia says through our link making me smirk.

"Me second thoughts... Please, This pack is my birthright. No one not a pathetic wolf like you will take that away from you. Look around you. Twintooth Mountain pack members aren't standing with you. Which means they don't think you are their alpha. You were never meant to be an alpha or even a high rank wolf. Step down and submit or die" i growl out my eyes turning an orange as the red of my lycon and the yellow of my wolf mix together. I smirk slightly as his breath catches in his throat.

"You aren't worthy of this pack. You know nothing about this pack" Loki yells before he launches himself at me, shifting mid way. I roll my eyes before moving away.

"Seriously the fight hasn't started" i say as i go back to my spot. Niyah walks into the middle before explaining the rules to us.

"Diana has made it clear she wants this fight to be a fight to the death, so it shall be. The fight wont end until either one is dead" Niyah explains.

"Diana are you ready?" she asks as i shift into my wolf shredding the clothes. I nod rolling my shoulders.

"Loki are you ready?" Niyah asks out of respect but i sense the hatred for him coming off her in waves and smirk. Loki growls but nods.

"Alright fight" Niyah says jumping out the way.

Loki is the first to move and runs head on at me. I roll my eyes and move to the side and turn facing him. May as well have a little fun before i end his miserable life. I hear loki's growl before he jumps at me again however this time he manages to graze my side making me clench my teeth however my wolf heals it in an instant as Drekia is helping me fight. I smirk and jump biting into his scruff and flinging him over to where he first started. I then unlock the mind link that i have been hiding away for so long. I link with Loki.

"You really have no idea how strong a lycon is do you?" i ask him keeping the link open for all the packs to hear. I hear chuckles from my side. I let out a yawn as he charges again and i side step scratching his side. He whimpers and jumps away from my area.

'Wimp' i think to myself.

-Diana just kill the fool- Mia suddenly says in my link and i smirk.

-But Drekia, Gia and me want to play with him first- I link her back while jumping away from loki and prancing about.

"You shouldn't play with your food little Lycon" Nathaniel says out loud making me roll my eyes.

-Who are you calling food, you little mutt?- Loki suddenly links and i growl my eyes glowing brighter and my markings glowing.

"Ooh bad idea dude. Don't disrespect her members" i hear Leon say as he sits at the front of the circle watching the fight.

-Do not call my gamma male a mutt you A class a**hole- i growl out and pounce on him tearing a piece of skin from his leg. He howls in pain. -I'm gonna have fun with this- Drekia says to me and i smirk before gerring off of Loki and walking back to where i was standing at the start. Loki struggles on to his feet and i smirk showing off my pearly white teeth covered in his blood.

-How are you so strong you were never shown how to control your lycon?- Loki asks as he once again jumps. This is getting tiresome. I step away and turn to face him.

-You know Eros was right. There is something that has been bothering me since the start of the fight. You said you were given this pack. That you took it. Which means you are the traitor in the pack. You were the one who told Jaxon's father the location of the hideout we were in. Only my parents, you and the gamma knew about where the loaction was. And you told him. You are the reason my parents were killed- i growl through the link.

-Yeah that's right. They didn't deserve the alpha role. I did. You were abominations and you still are!- he yells through the link making me lose all control of my lycon and wolf. I can only watch as they pounce on him and tear him to pieces.

They finally give me control back and i slump to the floor shifting into my human form feeling all the emotions crashijg down on me. He had my parents killed. I let out the first sob but more keep coming. I'm enveloped in arms and with the sparks i feel i know it's Jaxon. I curl into him and let the tears flow.

"Shhh. Its alright. Its okay" Jaxon whispers to me.

"He got my parents killed" i cry out.

-Are you okay Diana do you want one of us to take over until you can compose yourself. Jaxon's Lycon is wanting to come out to comfort you so is his wolf but Jaxon wont let them- Drekia links with me.

-I wil be okay Drekia tell them i will be fine it's just hit me it was his fault my parent died- i link her back before sniffiling as my tears come to an end.

"That's it. Sleep Diana i will be right beside you when you wake up" Jaxon says as i drift off to sleep. My finaly thought are 'I'm finally back home'.
