Chapter 31 - Midnight Terror Pack

I sigh as i sit in my desk chair tapping my fingers against the desk itself.

"How is that possible. They cant just disappear of the face of the earth?" i ask Kylian and Eros. "We don't know its like they've vanished. Di Di they could be dead for all we know" Kylian says. "Damb it. I promised Marcus that i would get his mate back for him and now Layton, Emmett, Marcus and his mate are missing" i say while leaning back. Its impossible but then again im meant to be impossible. No female lycons are supposed to exist. I shake my head before looking over as Jasper walks in.

"Alpha we have a problem" he says and i frown. "Another one. What problem is it now?" i ask. Sundile Pack was just wiped out" Jasper says. My eyes widen. I growl my eyes turning orange. "By rouges?" i ask.

"We aren't sure. However it looks like a different pack took the survivors" Jasper says. I groan. "Eros send our best pair of trackers and a group of warrior and have them start at our old pack house. If they find any unfamiliar scents find who they belong to and bring them here. As for the Sun dile pack. Me, Jaxon, You and Kylian and sebastian and Elliott are going to pay a visit to the scene of the crime before we go visit the pack that took in the survivors" i say standing up. I then rub my nose and mindlink Jaxon. -Whats wrong?- He asks and i roll my eyes.

-What makes you think anything is wrong?- I ask him back smirking slightly.

-Well i felt a ton of your anger through our bond right now so what is wrong my dearest mate?- he links back and i smile. He knows me so well. -I've dealt with that situation but we have another right now. Sundile pack has been wiped out- i explain to him.

-And why are you bothered about that pack in perticular?- he asks and i feel his confusion through our link.

-Because they were a small pack and they had my protection. No one would be stupid enough to go against the ghost pack. Rouges also didn't take them out so it had to be another pack. So it beggins the questions of who would even step a foot into a territory, that is protected by the ghost pack, with bad intentions- i explain to him futher while walking down the hall to his office. I enter and he looks up.

"So let me guess you are going to check it out?" Jaxon asks. I nod smirking before turning and walking down the stairs to see James, Nathaniel, Mia and Niyah standing waiting. "Niyah, james look after the packs while we are gone. Mia and Nathaniel make sure no one is slacking in the training alright" i instruct them. They nod before cuddeling me. We then set off for Sundile pack.

I enter the clesring where the old pack house once stood to find it has been burned to a crisp. I sneeze as the soot enters my nose. I wince when i see the dead bodies that have been left to rot. I cant believe another pack would want to do this. I could understand if rouges were to do this but another pack.... Just why. They never picked a fight with anyone. I growl before sniffing the air. A pack scent i havent smelled before enters my nostrals.

-Anyone know which pack this is i dont actually have a clue?- I mindlink everyone.

-Midnight Terror. It's a fairly new pack two generation pack. They have been steadily growing in numbers. Probably trying to grow strong- a voice i didn't expect to be here links me. I turn and see Mike walking forward.

-Huh. I didnt tell you to join us- i link him.

-I know but you need someone who has knowledge on every pack there is and because i have traveled to all the packs in search for my mate i know them all- Mike says and i sigh. He's right... unfortunately.

-Okay show us the way to Midnight Terror Pack- i order. I notice the slight roll of his eyes before he starts to lead the way to the pack who destroyed the Sundile pack.

We arrive at the border to Midnight Terror Pack and i notice plenty of wolves on border patrol. I have to admit they are strong but arent arrogant. So why take out a pack that hasnt caused any problems. I would understand if this pack was bordering with Sundile but it isn't. I roll my eyes and look towards Jaxon as he rubs his snout against my side.

-How are we going to get in there?- Mike suddenly links with me and i roll my eyes.

-Just wait and see. Eros Kylian Elliott take out any wolf that dares to attack us- i link everyone before i shift and put my clothes back on. I quickly tie my hair into a high ponytail as Jaxon puts some shorts on. I rub my pack mark subconsciously. It's now or never. I take the first step into the border and in an instant a wolf goes to attack me. However Eros takes him down.

"Don't kill him. Hey wolfie. Link your alpha. I wish to speak to him tell him we will meet outside his pack house" i order before i continue to walk futher into Midnight Terror's territory. I sigh as more and more wolves attack. It seems that wolf didnt do as i asked. I yawn as each wolf is took out.

"And you call yourselves strong. Four of my warriors managed to take all of you out without breaking a sweat. Now link your alpha and tell him to call you all off as i wish to speak to the asshole who thought it was a good idea to take a protected pack down" i say to a wolf who Eros has pinned down. I nod towards Eros and he lets the wolf go. Instantly the wolf is uo and running to safety. That safety being the pack house. I smirk. Works every time.

I enter the clearing as the wolf we let go off is suddenly kicked.

"You led them right to us you weak wolf" the guy who is obviously the alpha says.

"You really shouldnt blame him. He was running because of instinct. It is a wolfs instimct to run to their den when they know they cant win" i speak up and everyone turns to fame me as i smirk. Sebastian growls as a warrior pounces. However i hold my left arm out stopping him while my right hand grips the wolfs scruff. I then throw the wolf back towards the alpha.

"Hey wolfie on the floor who ran from me!" i call over to the wolf that is whimpering. He looks over slightly.

"Why dont you shift and relay the message i gave you"  i say to him. I hear bones cracking before a tennager no older that 16 stands naked in its place.

"She said to tell you to call the warriors off and she wants to speak to the asshole who took down a protected pack" the guy repeats. I smirk. "Protected pack?" the Alpha says.

"Yup. Your name would be nice to start however. Im Alpha Diana of the Ghost mountain pack. My mate is Alpha Jaxon of Dark Hallow pack. Now it's your turn?" i say as all my warriors apart from Sebastian shift. I roll my eyes slightly at his antics. Hes seriously over eager to protect me.

"Alpha Theseus of the Midnight Terror pack. What do you mean protected pack? Who would want to protect a weak pack like that?" Thesues says and i roll my eyes. I growl slightly.

"Them being a weak pack is exactly why i swore to protect them. They may have been a weak pack but they had best mining production in the country. I bet you didnt know that. And you obviouslt havent hear of the ghost pack. Ghost pack is what the pack i created was called before i merged it with Twintooth Mountain pack. Which my birth rite pack" i explain.

"Alpha Glade previous Alpha. TwinTooth mountain pack is only a myth to scare kids into behaving. Its said to have house a lycons pack a while pack" an older man says. I look over at him with bired eyes.

"True true. It used to house a lycons pack until the female lycon and her daughter were captured and took. The daughter escaped and created her own pack. And then found her way home and merged both pack. Now that daughter is standing right infront of you.... So can you really say that it's a myth?" i ask him. His face goes pale.

"But that means..." Glade trails off. "Yeah it means you pissed of a female lycon" i point out before rolling my shoulders.

"I will however give you a chance to explain your actions" i say my eyes settling back on the alpha.

"That was weeks ago" Theseus says and i roll my eyes.

"Oh i know but i had been a little imobelized and it wasnt brought to my attention until two days ago" i explain.

"Look. I'm not saying my actions are justifiable. But my pack i need more members and we need to get stronger" Theseus says. My eyes briws furrow.

"Why?" i hear Jaxon ask from beside me. I yawn bored. I want to go home.

Before theseus can answer im suddenly tackled from behind. Instantly my nose fills with the scent of rouges. I growl and instantly shift. I turn and rip the wolfs through out. I then link with the other rouge and everyone in the clearing.

-Hey asshats what the fuck do you think you are doing in pack lands. Man rouges are dumb. I think its time for some hunting boys-. Instantly im off and taking down one rouge at a time until there is none left. I shake out my fur before licking the blood off of myself. Eww. Abort that. Their blood is disgusting. I then sigh realising i have no clothes to shift back into. I walk back to my spot and smile as Jaxon hands me his top. I shift placing it on.

"Alright so you where about to say?" i ask a stunned Alpha. I smirk slightly.

"How did you... How did you take out so many... So fast....without getting hurt?" he asks and i roll my eyes.

"I'm a lycon and i train all of my pack hard so we are unbeatable" i answer.

"That's the problem. Rouges. Ever since my dad came back to this place its like the rouges are ganging up on us" Theseus explains. I sogh pinching my nose.

"DiDi come look at this" Eros suddenly calls. I walk over and kneel down. My eues widen when i see the mark of a forcefully turned human. If a human is turned against their will it turns them rabid and they get the mark on the base of their neck. The mark differs depending on what pack did this. Plus only alphas can turn humans. And by the markings i knows there is only one man behind all of this.

"Oh you have got to be kidding me!" i say standing to full hieght.

"What is it Diana?" Jaxon asks.

"It's your asshole of a father again. He's forcefully turning humans against their will. How did i not see this coming. Of course he would do something this disrespectful. It goes against the moon godess. Shit" i say turning to face jackson. His eyes go wide as silence envelops us. Why the hell would a werewolf go against the moon goddess? I mean i know hes slightly insane. All rright? Alot insane. But why turn humans. I mean they are weaker than naturally born werewolves. So how did he think he could take a pack out with these? Plus how is he turning so many and not being seen or anything being reported? My mind hurts.
