Chapter 33 - Scolding

I wake the next morning feeling completely confused. 'Why me? Out of every werewolf and lycon in the world why did the moon goddess choose me?' i think to myself. Because you are strong Diana. Every challenge that has come your way so far you have took it on like it was nothing and owned it. You protect alot of packs and even when someone dares harm another pack you take both sides. You judge fairly. You face challenges head on and don't run Gia links me. I sit up in the bed biting my lip. She's right you know. You may not feel like you are worthy of this. But you are. I mean come on who could create a pack and make it the most successfull and keep it running. Who else would be able to keep themselves safe when they are a female lycon. You have been hunted since you were a child and you never let that change who you were as a person. Sure you feel overwhelmed right now but you are forgetting one simple thing Drekia links me as well. I frown, confused at her words. What have i forgotten? I ask her. Silly human. You aren't alone in this anymore. You have a whole pack behind you. Two even. You have a mate, destined sisters and friends who will always be willing to help you. And the two idiots who are like brothers to you. Honestly their wolves feel like brothers to us too. Anyways... Getting off of topic there....

You also have me and Gia to help you out. Never forget that you silly girl Drekia answers my question amd i smile slightly at her kind words. Thank you Drekia and you too Gia. I know i will always have you too and I'm grateful i link them. I feel Gia grumbling in my head and smile. The two idiots are about to walk in. They've been worried. Jaxon has been on edge. Seriously girl you've been asleep for two days. Everyone is worried she grumbles out, telling me off. Before i have a chance to apologize she shuts the link. I roll my eyes and feel Drekia do the same. I look up as the door opens and Kylian and Eros walk in. Eros holds a tray full of fruit as Kylian is hands free acting unusually quiet and calm. Which can only mean one thing. He's done something he shouldn't have. "Kylian!" i warn shooting dagers into his head since he is looking at the floor with his head bowed. Eros looks amused. "Go on tell her" Eros commamds and i smirk. Eros is definitely the top in the relationship. I hear Kylian's slight whimper. "What did you do now?" i ask as Eros places the tray on my knees. "To soften the blow" Eros explains. Oh god this is bad if he needs to soften the blow. I glare over at Kylian. "WHAT...THE...HELL...DID...YOU...DO?" i growl out now unamused. "I may or may not have forgotten to write out the border patrol shifts for back home so everything is in an uproar" Kylian mumbles out. "And.." Eros urges on. "There's more" i manage to get out while wanting to hit Kylian. Kylian stays quiet his fists clenched. "Kylian" i warn slightly, my alpha voice coming through. "I may have opened a pack wide channel when i was talking to Eros about the pack mark, so now the whole pack knows about the mark being a royalty mark and you being a queen. So everyone is kind of pissed that you didn't tell them" Kylian says. I launch myself at Kylian. Just before hand Eros takes the tray away as if sensing i'm going to launch. "I'm sorry" Kylian cries out as i continue to growl and kick into him knowing he will heal fast.

The door opens and i look towards it to see Jaxon and Theseus standing at the door way. I growl over at them before turning and looking down at Kylian before looking at Eros as he has a laughing fit. "And why are you laughing?" i ask him. He stops immediatly and stands straight. "Umm" he murmers out. I faintly hear Theseus asking "What is going on why is she so angry?". "I have a feeling we are about to find out but i am not getting into the middle of it. I don't want to sleep on the sofa" Jaxon answers back and i smirk slightly. Good choice. "He's your mate and you are also head warrior you should have made sure everything was done before we left and realised that your link was open" i growl out before gripping his ear and yanking him over to his mate who is kneeling on the floor knowing better than to stand right now. I kick Eros' legs out from under him making his kneel. He winces slightly as his knees hit the floor but doesn't whimper or speak of it. "What the hell were you two thinking. You aren't my head warriors for nothing. When we get back to our pack you are first going to bring all your documents to my office if i don't find the plan for the border patrol shifts in the pile i am going to make you do every shift including the cleaning shifts all over again. You will also be cleaning out the sewage system for the month as well as guarding the borders yourself along with the guards for the next month. You will also be training the warriors and training the pups like the young warriors do. So don't expect much sleep for the month when we get back" i growl out. They both bow their heads signalling the will obey.

I then sigh and plop to the floor beside them. "Seriously though guys how didn't you realise the link was open?" i ask while eating the fruit on the tray. "We were seriously worried about you. One second your wide awake, the next you fall into a deep sleep in Jaxon arms and you dont wake for two days. Our wolves weren't letting us concentrate" Eros explains. I look towards Kylian to see him pouting. "Kill. Why are you pouting like a little puppy?" i ask him. "Do we really have to train the pups they are going to try to steal my leg again" he mumbles out looking ashamed. "Unfortunetly yes but i will command them to leave your leg connected to your body" i say smiling. He smiles slightly before he shifts and falls onto his belly scooting towards me. Submitting. I sigh and roll my eyes. His wolf is in control and knows he did wrong. "Come here ahole" i say. The wolf gives a slight smile before it charges over and cuddles into me. "I swear you're too crazy sometimes" i say as he lays his head across my lap. I smile and stroke his fur feeling slightly at peace. I turn to face Jaxon and Theseus who are now accompanied by Glade and the luna. I think her name is Anastasia. "Hi" i mumble out. Jaxon smiles and comes to sit beside me as Eros moves to lie beside Kylian who is purring. I roll my eyes before leaning my head on Jaxon's shoulder. "So are you wanting to ask anymore questions because if you do i can certainly answer them to the best of my ability" Theseus says coming to sit infront of me with Anastasia in his lap. Two toddlers suddenly run in and curl up against Kylian and he looks startled rasing his head. But when all they do is lie curled against him slightly stroking his fur he lays his head back on my knees and closes his eyes. "Sorry this is our pups Eliza and Alistair" Anastasia speaks up and i smile. "They are beautiful" i whisper noticing the pups are drifting off to sleep. I then sigh. "Why don't we get to know eachother. I was actually hoping if i could make an alliance with you" i say. "An alliance? No.." Theseus says shaking his head and i frown confused. "You won't need an alliance. You are the queen of werewolves and lycons. The moment we discovered that, i had a meeting with my pack and told them this as well as explain to them that you are my chosen ruler. If you're willing to have us as your subordinates" Theseus says and i frown more. "I really don't like the word subordinates. How about we just say friends" i say to him and he smiles before replying "Alright then". I smile back before uncrossing my legs and stretching them. "Let's play 20 questions" Jaxon says and i roll my eyes. "I will go first. When did you find your mate?" i ask Theseus. His face goes pained for some reason. "It was back when we were in high school. It was at a party we were both drunk and had sex. I rejected her the next morning. Something i will always regret now. She left for four years and then she came back and i found out i had pups and i hurt her continuously. My actions were horrendous. I can't change the past I'm just happy she gave me a second... Well, third chance" Theseus says clutching Anastasia tighter. I smile softly. "I want to go next" Anastasia calls out. Theseus nods towards her and Anastasia smiles. "What's it like being a lycon?" she asks and i smile. "Truthfully It felt weird at first. It's like i have three different personalities in me. I have one. My wolf has one and my lycon has one. Fortunatly for me, my wolf and lycon get along so they never argue or gang up on eachother. They are there for me when i need them. However some parts are bad. For example some people are power hungry so they will do anything to get what i have been born with" i say. Anastasia looks at me sadly. "That must be hard" she says and i shrug. "It has it good and bad points. But i choose to forcus on the good points" i say smiling making her smile. I guess my smile is contagious.

The game continues for several hours. I smile when i notice Anastasia and Kylian have both fallen asleep. I quickly grab a robe and place it over kylian as he shifts back into his human skin. "Thanks DiDi. Im going to take him to bed. Mind link me if you need anything" Eros whispers. "Same here. She seems to be finally sleeping peacefully for once" Theseus says looking down at Anastasia with love. I smile and glance up at Jaxon. "We will probably be leaving for home soon. We have stuff to do and i have to explain things to everyone" i say. Jaxon nods before standing up. He holds out his hands and i place mine in his. My hands instantly molds with his showing he is my mate. He's perfect for me. I smile as he pulls me up. I groan as my muscels ache from sitting in the same possition. I then frown befkre trying to get intouch with Niyah. Niyah, are you alseep? I ask through our mindlink. Oh so now you want to talk. Why have you contacted us earlier. The whole pack is in an uproar Niyah explains and my gaze hardens on a sleeping Kylian as Eros carrys him out of the room. Trust me i would have contacted you sooner if i had of known. But after i found out i fell asleep and i have been asleep for two days. Tell the pack we will be home soon. We are just waiting for everyone to be fully rested i explain to her. I feel her happiness through our bond and smile. Good hurry rhe hell up. We miss you Niyah then links befkre i feel it close. I smile before climbing into the bed. "Let's get some rest. We will need it for the run back. I eant to make it back within a day" i say as Jaxon climbs in beside me. I smile as he kisses my head befkre we both drift off to sleep.
