The party

Brooks dragged Tory outside and let out a breath saying "Ah fresh air!" as he lit a cigarette. Tory looked at him and laughed as she said "Fresh air, huh?" Brooks smirked and said "I was feeling stuffy." Tory rolled her eyes and looked at a group playing a drinking game, she pointed and said "Let's go play!"

Brooks smirked and said "I get hammered everyday, you want a shot at the champ?" Tory rolled her eyes and said "Should you be proud of that?" Brooks scratched his cheek and chuckled, Tory shook her head with a smile and dragged him by the hand before saying "We got next."

The guys nodded and started playing again, soon enough one of them fell off and the winner stayed as he said "Winner stays." Tory smirked and said "Alright." as she got up. Brooks handed her a cup and she smiled beautifully as she took it before picking her leg up and starting to play.

A while later

Tory was undefeated and beat 4 other people. Tory smirked and said "Is the champ ready to lose?" Brooks smirked and sipped form his cup as he said "I'm giving you a handicap." Tory giggled and froze as she sneered "Look what rolled in." looking at Sam, who walked in with Robby.

Brooks smiled and threw a beer over, Robby caught it and smirked. Sam glared at Tory and said "Surprising to see you off your knees." The air chilled and Tory said "At least I can see over my stomach. Besides.." she smirked and said "At least I have something to put in my mouth, I even need two hands."

Brooks spit out his drink and started coughing violently, everybody turned to him and Sam's face darkened as she climbed up the stool and said "Get me a drink." Robby recovered from the cheap shot and said "You don't have to do thi-" Sam cut him off and said "Drink!" Robby sighed and got her a drink.

Brooks looked at Tory, who winked at him. He chuckled and sipped from his cup before giving Tory another cup. Stingray punched his shoulder with a duct-taped Colt 45 bottle as he said "Dude! Nice!" Brooks chuckled and poured the Colt 45 in his cup as he said "Thanks, Stingray."

Stingray said "Bro, anytime." Brooks snickered and focused back on Tory, who crushed her cup. Brooks said "Porker, you've had a lot." Tory said "I know, you think I can't beat the Princess?" Brooks shook his head and said "No. I'm saying you're leaning too far to the left, press on your toes not your heel. You can't fall even if you finish a keg by yourself."

Tory smiled warmly and said "Wait until I beat her." Brooks smiled and handed her a cup before saying "I'm waiting. Even if you fall, I'm here." Tory took the cup and said softly "I want to talk after this." Brooks was confused and nodded. Tory smiled and looked back at Sam as she said, full of confidence, "Let's go Princess, I don't have all day. By the way if you bounce back to the stool after you fall you're still out."

Sam drank the cup in her hands and started wobbling. Tory finished her cup and crushed it but shook a little, she pushed on her toes and stabilized before smiling at Brooks, who gave her a thumbs up.

Sam was half finished drinking when Lily and Miguel showed up. Lily crossed her arms and said "Well, well, well, if it isn't Meatball Larusso! Deciding to go with a loose dress was a good choice.. But tight jeans?" she just shook her head.

Robby sighed and Brooks looked at him while waving over. Robby walked over and said "What?" Brooks said "I got a call from Shannon today." Robby sighed and said "I was there. I heard everything." Brooks face turned ugly and Robby hesitated before saying "She went to rehab, Brooks. She's trying to change."

Brooks shook his head and said "It still doesn't change how she treated us." Robby said "Dad was-" Brooks held up his hand and said "I know, but the difference was she was there. He wasn't there and that's on him. His actions are inexcusable. She was there but she might as well have not been. You at least recognize that, right?"

Robby was silent and Brooks nodded as he continued "You want to stay by her side, that's fine. I just want you to take care of yourself first. I don't believe she'll change just like that. I know you don't believe it either, no matter what you say." Brooks shot him a glance and said "If she really changes for real, then maybe I'll consider having her back in my life again. Maybe."

Robby smirked and said "It's true, you are a softie.." Brooks snorted and said "Beat it, Larusso boy." Robby chuckled and was about to walk away, Brooks grabbed his shoulder and whispered in his ear "I would also watch out for that Larusso girl. Get mad at me if you want but she's just bad news, man. Trust me." before letting go and patting it instead.

Robby was silent as he walked back next to Sam.

Brooks handed Tory another drink as he said "Be careful, please." Tory smirked and said "You're here right?" Brooks grinned and nodded, Tory smiled and the round started again.

Brooks watched as Tory chugged the cup and almost fell over, he was going to call it when Sam started shaking too. Lily shouted "Timber!" Miguel spit out his drink and Sam fell from the stool. Brooks pulled Tory down and held her in a princess carry as he looked at her and said "That's enough for today okay?" Tory smiled warmly and said "Let's go somewhere quiet."

Brooks nodded and carried Tory as he left, he passed Lily and Tory high-fived her saying "Take over." Lily smirked and walked to the stool. Brooks gave Miguel a cheeky smile and Miguel sighed as he followed Lily.

Brooks put Tory down at her request and she held his hand as they walked through the house, Brooks looked over and saw Moon. He walked over and saw Hawk talking to a chick, Moon walked over to the chick and Brooks stood next to Hawk as he said "Mo-" before his eyes widened.

Moon started making out with the girl that Hawk was talking too. Tory covered her mouth and Hawk was stunned. Brooks was easily the most stunned of the three. He grabbed Moon and said "Moon! Tell me seriously, did you do this on a whim?! Do you like girls?!"

Moon was startled and said "Brooks? Uhh, This is my girlfriend..." the girl waved and Brooks looked at Hawk and felt really bad. Moon said "Hawk? What's going on?" Brooks said "Uhh nothing. I jinxed it. Fuck!" Tory laughed and Hawk just left.

Brooks sighed and shook Moon again saying "Why, Moon, why! I jinxed it!" Moon was super confused and said "Wha-" Brooks cut her off and said "Never mind that, do you have a relatively quiet space?" Moon looked at Tory and Brooks added "No, not a bedroom. I have a house, I don't need yours. We just need to talk."

Moon let out a breath and smiled as she said "The kitchen is relatively empty, I was just there. Everyone is outside or in the living room, so it's quiet enough." Brooks kissed her forehead and said "You're a saint, Moon. Thank you." before dragging Tory away, who was laughing loudly at Moon's bewildered look.

Brooks and Tory were in the kitchen and Tory was sitting on the counter. Brooks was standing and their faces were in front of each other as he hugged her waist and said "What did you want to talk about?"

Tory wrapped her arms around Brooks' neck and she said "Well what I wanted to say can wait a minute." she kissed him softly and said "You know, I was really angry all the time before. I hated everything because I had nothing and made just enough at my job to scrape by. I had to take care of my mom and little brother, I didn't have enough money to do anything. When I started going to school it was on my savings money that my mom had from before she got sick."

Brooks nodded and Tory smiled as she continued "Then I met you. When I first met you, I really just wanted to smoke. Then you 'Struck first' and kissed me." she laughed and said "I was angry and excited at the same time." Brooks rubbed his nose and Tory smiled as she went on "Then we started talking more and more and I started to like you, the best time of the day was lunch. Our first date was the most fun I've ever had in my life and everyday since has been the best moments I've ever had."

Brooks smile started to turn warm and Tory continued with a warm smile "Everyday used to be a constant fight by myself but now I have someone to fight with. You're always there for me and you protect me even when I don't need it. I.. I just wanted to say that I love you."

Brooks was stunned and looked at Tory with his mouth open wide, a storm was raging in his head. He was unable to respond, he couldn't think of anything other than her words. Tory smiled and kissed him deeply as she said "Brooks."

Brooks looked up in a daze and her eyes turned to crescents as she gave him a big warm smile and said "I really do." Brooks pulled her in and kissed her passionately, she smiled and wrapped her legs around his waist along with her arms around his neck.

They kissed for a while and Brooks pulled back and looked into her eyes as he said "Tory, I-" she covered her lips and said "Process it. I know you're a mess right now." before giggling happily, Brooks smiled warmly and hugged her saying "Drinks?" Tory nodded happily and they left the kitchen.

A while later

Brooks and Tory were sitting together near the couch and Tory got up saying "I'll go get drinks okay?" Brooks pulled her in before kissing her and saying "Okay. Come back fast." Tory nodded and left.

Dimitri took over the microphone and said "Hello everyone! I would like to drink to Eli Moscowitch. Oh? You don't know who that is? Sorry, he goes by Hawk now. But what you didn't know is that Hawk's a big softie, we watched Harry Potter together and he crying like a baby when Dobby died!" Hawk grinded his teeth and the people surrounding the living room laughed.

Brooks spoke up "What are you clowns laughing at? Who didn't cry when Dobby died, let's be real. What a bunch of losers." he shook his head and the surrounding people looked awkward, Hawk smirked and there was a loud shout "Brooks Lawrence!"

Brooks turned to see Sam glaring at him, he sneered and said "What do you want Princess?" Sam walked up to him and said "I hate you and your dad! You're a huge asshole and I don't like it! You're just a bunch of bullies pretending to be Karate students!" Brooks was confused but said coldly "Watch your words, bitch. I don't care if you're drunk, I'll make you swallow your teeth."

Sam got right in his face and sneered "What are you going to do? My dad beat your dad's ass 35 years ago and I'll beat yours!" Hawk frowned and Brooks cracked his fingers with his thumb as he said with an ice cold tone and a sinister grin "Oh yeah?" Sam stumbled a bit and kept her sneer as she said "Yeah, I'll- Ah!" Sam stumbled forward and kissed Brooks right on the lips.

The surrounding people's eyes widened and Brooks shoved her away as he heard cups falling to the ground, he shouted "What the fuck!" he turned and saw Tory leaving and glared at Sam and said "Wait for me, Larusso. You won't survive the night." Hawk stepped up and shouted at Dimitri "You're a corpse, Dimitri!"

Sam fell to the ground and she was confused.

Brooks chased after Tory and said "Tory wait!" Tory ignored him and Brooks stood in front of her, he saw the tears in her eyes and he felt his heart hurt. He said quickly "Please believe I didn't do anything." Tory looked at him and her tears fell, Brooks pulled her in and hugged her tightly as he said "I'm sorry. I should've stepped back, I didn't know."

Tory took a deep breath and Brooks pulled back before wiping her tears from her eyes. He gave her a sad smile and said "I don't like seeing you like this." Tory said softly "Can you bring me home?" Brooks nodded and left with Tory, he saw Lily on the way out and said ice cold "Larusso. I want her in a wheelchair by tomorrow."

Lily was startled and said "What-" but Brooks already left, she took her words back and followed the crowd to the living room.

Brooks put Tory in the front seat and drove back to her house.

A while later

Tory was silent the entire ride and Brooks was getting nervous. They stopped in front of her apartment and Brooks turned off the car as he said "Porky, please talk to me. You know I don't want this. Why would I do that to you? Especially after what happened before?"

Tory grabbed his hand and squeezed tightly as she said shakily "Killer, I'm really, really, really angry. I really want to beat her face in." Brooks kissed her hand and said "I know. She's a loser. You're not mad at me right?" Tory looked over and saw his nervous and worried expression, she kissed him and smiled as she caressed his cheek "No. I love you. Always. You could've pushed her away though."

Brooks complained angrily "How the fuck was I supposed to know she was gonna just kiss me? She was talking all this shit about my dad and I was angry, then she suddenly kisses me. I couldn't react!" Brooks spat out his tongue and said "Also I still have a rotten taste in my mouth. Unfortunately I have nothing to raise my mouth out with."

Tory giggled and said "I have water at my house." Brooks looked at her and said "You want me to..?" Tory nodded and held his hand as she said "Come meet my mom." Brooks was nervous and said "I don't even have anything to give! So sudden?!"

Tory laughed and said "The big bad boy is flustered? I never thought I'd see the day." Brooks sighed and said "So many things happened today. Officially the best and worst day of my life." he scratched his neck and said "Shouldn't have come to this party."

Tory sighed and said "We did. Now come inside." Brooks smiled and nodded as he got out of the car and held Tory's hand, walking to the apartment.
