After the first hunting, Ace's group hunted 3 more Ants successfully. The hunts were as easy as the first hunt, but it took too much time. They spent 3 hours to find and hunt some lone ants. Because dinner time was approaching, they decided to find a pair of ants for the last hunt, as they were confident could face two and because the ants that went to their nest were getting fewer.

They then waited for the ants to come silently. And then the first ant was sighted, everyone was preparing.
"!!!" The ant was surprised. But its body was pulled in a direction by an irresistible force. The ant then felt a sharp object piercing its hide. It made it in pain. It could only cry an audible voice by rubbing its antennas each other.

Knowing the pull was a success, Cloud began her official debut. At the previous ambushes, the team had done too well and didn't require her to take action.
After listening to Sofia's understanding about her job from the books she had read from the library, Cloud knew as a witchdoctor, her skills consisted of recovery, debuffing the enemies, and soul-based skills. She didn't have any buff skill of the healer jobs should have or attacking skill other mages should have.
At level 1, she had two skills, continues heal and confuse. Continues heal like its name, would heal a target continuously as long as the caster didn't stop the skill. It would heal the target with some HP that was equivalent to 10% of the caster's magic per second. It consumed 1 MP per second.
Ace who listened to the description of the skill thought it was a wasted skill. Not like Geo's mega heal skill that could be used to save the target in a blink of an eye, Cloud's skill was more a pure recovery skill to heal the target slowly.
Although Ace had to admit, if she worked together with Sampson who had a good battle awareness that could dodge skillfully, it was barely an acceptable skill.
As Ace had already experienced how slippery his brother could be, even though he had low agility. And with 'stone skin' skill from his chest guard that could halve the damage he took if he used the skill at the right time, his brother's survivability would rise a little.
Opposite with her subpar healing skill, her initial debuff skill was powerful. The name of the skill was 'confuse', it would misdirect the target's body coordination. For example, if the target wanted to move his right foot, the left foot that would move instead. It was a very disgusting skill, as even if the target learned how to coordinate his body oppositely to counter its effect, it would still slow down his reaction.
Cloud then cast 'confuse'. It would make the enemy confused for 3 to 7 seconds. But, as her level was lower than the ant, she only hoped that it could last for 3 seconds, as it had a pretty long cooldown which was a minute.
The ant then acted weirdly. It turned its head to the opposite of Sampson's direction and was moving as if dancing.
Sofia, Sampson, and Jumpy of course didn't let go of the opportunity that was made by Cloud.

At the other side of the bush, another ant was startled when it saw its friend had been pulled by a mysterious force. After it heard its friend's cry, it became angry and strode to the bush. But a card attack made it felt pain and fall down

After knowing the first ant was successfully pulled, Ace moved to a suitable location and threw a jack of hearts card. It bound the second ant successfully.
The bound ant couldn't do anything as Ace threw a 10 of spade card and a 3 of diamonds card.

The ant freed itself and then cried with inaudible voice. It then strode to attack Ace.
Ace smiled at it after looking at how slow it moved. He then took a jack of diamonds card from his belt and threw it, and luckily its effect was also activated. He then drank a blue potion to restore his mana.
It fell down for the second time. It then could only receive damages from Ace again and waited for its unavoidable fate.

Compared to Ace's fight that was too one-sided but looked fair, The others' fight was somewhat unjust.
Jumpy that jumped on top of the ant then used its thick front legs to log the ant's front body and its thinner legs, making it couldn't move. Jumpy then attacked the ant's thick back with its fangs. Although his damage was somewhat pitiful, around 10 to 15 damage per bite. But, with everyone's efforts, the ant was killed although with a longer time.
After both battles were ended, they successfully advanced to level 2. Ace was confident, they could fight with three ants at the same time safely.
Ace took his prey's carcass and the white crystal to his inventory. As for the other ant's carcass and a white crystal were collected by Cloud.

"So we got 30 dirac and 6 granite ant's cores. I thought we will get some equipment. That is disappointing," Sampson said.
"What can you expect. We just hunted a few ants. And you weren't even scratched while hunting them. Be glad we have gotten them," Cloud snorted at Sampson's complaint.
Sampson could only scratch his head.
"They surely have some uses. I mean the cores. Let's ask Sofia, so she can find their uses," Ace said.
"Yeah, let's go offline to prepare the dinner," Cloud said.
They stayed to open the white crystals. They then logged off following Sofia and Geo. Sofia logged off earlier to accompany Geo who wanted to go to the bathroom.

"Yumm… I like fried chicken!" George said after munching a fried chicken wing.
"Yeah! Daddy too. If not because the gas stopped running, we wouldn't order them," Alex said while holding a fried chicken thigh.
"Yeah. I just opened the mail, and they had mailed us yesterday, there would be maintenance this afternoon. I rarely open my smartphone these days," Vira said after taking a french fries.
"Yeah, We are too occupied with the game. I think many people are also the same. The game is too realistic and fun. No one could resist it," Ace responded.
