Summary

Just like the author, John Prescott is an automotive enthusiast, maybe even the most ordinary one, despite his fame in street racing. Just like any automotive enthusiast who has driving licence, he spends his street racing. After one race he meets up with the organiser of the street races, who vaguely tells him how his father died.

His cousin, Jacquelin Barclay was an enthusiast too. She was distant from John, but the Goodwood festival changed that. Soon John met with a man whom he wanted to meet more than anyone. Peter Miles, who was the son of the legendary British racecar driver Ken Miles.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed only happens at the good ol' UK, but it's not like America doesn't have it's legends. John enjoyed participating in it, but quote on quote from Warren Collins.

"He was winnin' to much"

Warren was losing a lot of money because of John, and he tried to kill him. That backfired more than the second attempt of Blitzkrieg-ing. Jacqui saved him.

The last event was a no-return point for John and Jacqui. If they lose, Warren gets away. But thankfully at the last moment Jacqui orders John to put the hammer down. They won the last event and Warren got caught and arrested for several crimes.

So now you ask me.

"Author, what is the moral of the story?"

My answer? There is no moral. It's just a story about a teenager who really loves cars.
