Prologue

In a world of mystic and ordinary, all is not all it seems.

Since the age of civilization, man had lived with its business unaware of the mystic creatures in their midst.

Creatures who emerge with unimaginable power all to their sheer will.

These mystic warriors were led by a council of elders, the most powerful of their kind. A group of men and women who never aged. They controlled the business of these warriors and tasked themselves to keeping the outside world unaware of the powerful beings in their midst.

The secret was well kept from the stone age to the modern age. Humans lived and fought among themselves. The elders preferred to remain in the shadows than to interfere with human beings.

The sentiment was not shared by all of the warriors beneath them. A faction of warriors led by a man called Dumba led a rebellion against the elders. The didn't want to live in the shadows. They felt their place was to rule humans.

The rebellion resulted into a fierce war. Lives were lost and cities were leveled. The notion was led by the strongest warriors but it was futile against the elders and their army. The rebellion was vanquished and the battle was won but the damage had been done. The cat was out of the bag.

The humans were now aware of the impossible among them. The fear of the unknown wheeled among them. This period was named the enlightenment, the secret was no more

World leaders, after seeing the sheer strength on display, knew it was hopeless to wage war against them and so settled for peace instead.

The warriors stepped out of the shadows with nothing to hide. There were public shows of strength followed with death as this creatures settled conflicts openly.The media went wild with this unjust acts.

The elders had to re-evaluate their objectives. They aimed to reduce the interaction between humans and the creatures now named 'Willers.' this feat seemed almost impossible.

The elders distributed towns and cities all over the world among the strongest of their kind. They lorded over the leaders of these territories and punished those who killed or hurt humans. They were bestowed to maintain law and order in their territories. It was a shaky arrangements but it stood. There were still shouts of dangers posed by these Willers from the media and the people but there seemed to be an unsaid arrangement.

This arrangement stood for over fifty years during which the political leaders were secretly plotting ways to get rid of the willers. Some of the willers are planning to overthrow the elders to reignite Dumba's rebellion and the elders seemed to have an underlying objective.

The house of cards was tilting to fall.
