Arriving home, I lie down on my sofa with my eyes closed. I think about everything she said to me and I realize that it hurts me to know that Hayden didn't think to count on me.

I sigh, running a hand through my short curly hair. I needed to speak with Hayden as quickly as possible. I didn't want this story to have an impact on our friendship.
