I have always been arrogant

-He was busy, Caesar replies, looking me straight in the eyes.

-I see, I replied, looking away, and where are we going?

He approaches my ear before whispering.

-I let you guess

-I don't really have time to play guessing games, I replied in an indifferent tone.

-It's a shame, Caesar said to me, maybe you would have found the right answer

-I suppose you won't tell me anything?, I asked him

–You are very insightful, Caesar said to me, applauding me amusedly

-I hope at least there will be Hayden, I told him

-You will see for yourself, he was content to tell me

I huff before getting into the car. I hope I get home soon. I was exhausted and I didn't enjoy playing guessing games with Caesar.

I watch Caesar smoke a cigarette, his eyes cold. Our eyes meet but I don't look away which makes him smirk.

I was sure he was up to something. All I can conclude is that he was shady.

He looks away to throw away his cigarette before getting into the car. He rests with his eyes closed while the car drives. time

I watch the landscape go by and I end up falling asleep.

POV Caesar 

I don't know it but Caesar turns to my sleeping face. He caresses my face then twirls a few strands of my hair around his fingers.

-I hope you don't disappoint me, Caesar smirked.

He rested his face in Daisy's neck and took a deep breath of her scent. She smelled beautifully. It was addictive.

-You remind me of someone, he whispered to himself, removing his face from his blow

Caesar looks away from Daisy and watches the scenery pass by through the car window.

Fin Pov Caesar

30 minutes later -

-We have arrived boss, the driver told me

-hmm, Caesar replied, go prepare the track for later

-Okay boss, replied the driver while getting out of the car

He then closed the door and drove away, leaving Caesar and Daisy in the car.

-I'll let you sleep for another 20 minutes and then I'll wake you up, he whispered

He touched Daisy's dark circles with his fingers before turning to the window to look at the landscape.

20 minutes later -

I felt someone pinch my nose. I opened my tired eyes and removed the fingers that were pinching my nose.

-Finally wake up, Caesar told me

-Have we arrived?, I asked, yawning.

-For 20 minutes already, he answered me

I get out of the car and Caesar gets out as well.

-Next time wake me up first, I told him, I hate keeping others waiting

-As you wish, he said to me in turn

We both get out of the car and I follow him, we cross a deserted country road until we arrive in front of a wooden house. I stop in front and hesitate to enter.

-Is Hayden in there? I asked him with a frown.

-Whether he's there or not, what does it matter to you?, he asked me.

He took me by the wrist before leading me inside the house. Arriving inside, he closed the door behind him.

-Your two friends offered me your services for the fast rally races, he said to me

-I'll help you take first place, I told him

-You're really confident, he mocked

-I have always been confident in my abilities, I replied in an arrogant tone.

-We're going to do something simple, he smirked at me, if you win you have the right to a reward and if you lose-

-No need to continue, I already told you that it's a foregone conclusion, I cut him off annoyed

He pinched my cheek.

-Now, he said to me, go change in the locker room, we have put you in a comfortable sports outfit there.

-Where are the changing rooms?, I asked him interrogatively.

-Upstairs, he told me, you just have to go up the stairs and you will find

-Okay, I replied, heading towards the stairs.

I walked up the stairs as out of the corner of my eye I saw Caesar heading towards another room. Arriving upstairs I saw a door on the left with a large cloakroom written above it. I went inside and closed the door behind me, locking it.

The locker room was as big as a bedroom. It contained a large mirror in the center of the room and a dressing room. In the dressing room there were only suits for the sport of driver

I took a beige jumpsuit and comfortable black shoes provided. Once dressed, I left the room and went down the stairs to join Caesar.

Arriving downstairs, I heard voices coming from inside a room. I was heading towards this room and just as I wanted to knock, the door opened.

-We're listening at the door now, Hayden teased me 

-I just arrived, I replied.

-I'm teasing you, Hayden smiled at me amusedly

A voice was heard behind Hayden.

-Have you put on your suit? Caesar asked me

-In your opinion?, I replied, rolling my eyes.

-Hayden give me and Daisy two minutes, Caesar ordered him in a calm tone.

Hayden hesitated and didn't move.

-Hayden, Caesar said in a threatening tone.

-You can go, don't worry, he'll just tell me about the rally, I reassured him

Hayden ends up leaving leaving us alone in the hallway. Caesar approached me before grabbing me by the throat and pinning me against the wall.

-I think I was a little too nice to you, he whispered in my ear,

I laughed amusedly.

-Do you think so?, I asked him amusedly

-Yeah and if you make me angry I really won't be nice, he said to me

–Who told you to keep talking to me?, I asked him, shrugging my shoulders casually.

-You are not ready for the consequences that await you, he said to me in a dark voice.

-Relax, I'm just joking, I replied, removing his hand from my hand.

-But I Don't joke Daisy so I'm warning you that you'll regret it, he whispered in my ear

A few minutes of silence passed between us.

-If I win, will you forgive me? I asked him, smirking at him.

-We'll see, he said to me

He went to join Hayden and I did the same a few seconds later. 

I couldn't wait to see what he was capable of, I thought amusedly, if he thought I would be afraid he was totally wrong
