Episode 3

18th February 2017, Saturday

It's currently 7am, Min-ji woke up cause Ji-yoo was waking her up. They both got out of their rooms and found Jungwoo at the dining room eating his breakfast alone. He was also dressed like he was about to go somewhere. It wasn't something fancy but something that a kpop idol would've wore to go to rehearsals and stuff. "You're up early." Min-ji said. Jungwoo looked at Min-ji and Ji-yoo. "Yea, i have to go to work. You know yourself that kpop idols don't have day offs on weekends." Jungwoo said. "Morning Jungwoo!" Ji-yoo said while smiling. "Good morning Ji-yoo" Jungwoo said smiling back. "I already made both of you pancakes, eggs, and bacon. You can just get some drinks like orange juice or milk in the fridge." Jungwoo said. "Thanks" Ji-yoo said while smiling. Ji-yoo walked to the dining table and sat on one of the chairs to eat the breakfast that Jungwoo made and Min-ji sat with them to. "Thank you so much" Min-ji said. "No problem. You guys just enjoy yourselves while i'm at work and i'll be back around 7pm." Jungwoo said. "So you wake up early in the morning, eat breakfast at 7, go to work at 8, and go back home to rest at 7pm?" Min-ji said. "Well, i've been a kpop idol for 3 years so they allow me to go home early but in the 1st year of being a kpop idol, i had to live in dorms and since i was in a group that has 7 members including me they were lots of bunk beads and 3 people share 1 room. We also had to practice early in the morning and could only rest for like 3-4 hours. Maybe if we're lucky they will let us rest for a whole 8 hours. So, i've been through worst times. But now i'm popular worldwide so they let me go easy with the others so we can go home at 7 the latest is 10 and in special occasions like concerts or music events that we're going to perform, they let us decide when we want to go home and rest." Jungwoo said. "Wow, you're life is just full of surprises." Min-ji said imagining how she'll be when she's a kpop idol especially cause she has a son. Her life will be messed up if she ends up like Jungwoo. "It's okay, at the end all of my hard work wasn't in vain so i'm satisfied." Jungwoo said while smiling lightly. They all ate their breakfast while joking around so Ji-yoo won't feel awkward around them then Jungwoo puts the dirty dishes in the dish washer then leaves his house to work so there's only Min-ji and Ji-yoo left in his house.

"Mommy?" Ji-yoo said. "Yes Ji-yoo my dear?" Min-ji asked. "Why is Jungwoo's house so clean and he has no maids? Does he clean this big house on his own? We have maids and it's still sometimes not that clean." Ji-yoo said. "Well that's because, Ji-yoo is just a person who doesn't like making any messes. He's been like that since i first met him. And he lives alone so of cores he wouldn't make to much messes. He also doesn't have a child so his house is so clean even though it's so big." Min-ji said calmly. "Hm.. when you think about it, it's actually true mommy" Ji-yoo said. "I know everything hahahaha" Min-ji said while laughing a bit and Ji-yoo laughed with his mother. They both watched TV and Min-ji spend most of her time with Ji-yoo cause she's not busy now.

It's 6pm and Min-ji was cooking dinner for Ji-yoo cause he started to get hungry. "Mommy?" Ji-yoo asked. "Yes my dear?" Min-ji said while frying some food. "When is Jungwoo going to come home?" Ji-yoo asked. "He said he'll be back home around 7 and now is still 6. Let's be patient okay" Min-ji said. "Okay." Ji-yoo said. "Mommy?" Ji-yoo asked again "Yes my dear?" Min-ji asked. "Can i call Jungwoo uncle?" Ji-yoo asked. "Hm.. it'll be fine with me but i think you have to tell Jungwoo first so he doesn't get confused." Min-ji said. "Mommy?" Ji-yoo asked again. "Yes?" Min-ji said who feels like she's about to get annoyed but tries to stay calm cause she's cooking and Ji-yoo's still young. "Was Jungwoo the same like right now when you knew him in school years?" Ji-yoo asked. "Well, he's a bit different now. He always wanted to be an idol and i supported him and cheered for him. He started auditioning when he was still a freshmen in high school and i supported him but, he'll get so tensed up when he didn't make it. He finally made it after a year of auditioning in many labels and he started to become a trainee. Then we got more distant cause he was busy training while i was busy with school. We talked routinely but it got less and less day by day. When it was graduation day, we only talked for a little while then we said goodbye and after that we didn't talk anymore. He went to the states cause he had some business to do there and i was still pursuing my dreams in becoming a successful business woman." Min-ji said. "As long as he's happy about his life, then it's all fine" Min-ji said. "Mommy?" Ji-yoo asked. "Hmm?" Min-ji said just to get over with what he's going to ask. "Do you like Jungwoo?" Ji-yoo asked. "Of cores. I like him as a friend." Min-ji said. "I mean more then a friend." Ji-yoo asked. "Look, don't tell Jungwoo okay?" Min-ji said and Ji-yoo nodded. "I actually liked Jungwoo for a very long time since middle school until now. I was trying to find him after our graduation but i was to late and i was upset that i couldn't say goodbye to him when he left. I always think about him and since he's very famous i know how he's been doing. Yes, i want to go out with Jungwoo, but imagine what will happen to his carrier if he goes out with me? He'll be a mess." Min-ji said. "I just have to live like this and ignore my feelings that i have towards Jungwoo. He can never know about this so don't tell anyone understand?" Min-ji asked. Ji-yoo nodded and Min-ji just smiled a bit.

Not long after that, Jungwoo went back home around 7 as he said. He was exhausted but hide his exhaustion so Ji-yoo won't worry much. Even though he doesn't have a special connection with Ji-yoo, he loves him as if he's his child. Ji-yoo came rushing to the door and hugged Jungwoo. "Hi Jungwoo" Ji-yoo said who can only reach his feet. "Hi Ji-yoo" Jungwoo said while smiling. Jungwoo takes off his coat and followed Ji-yoo to the dining room. He sat on one of the seat and eat the food that Min-ji already prepared for him. "Hey, try to pick a movie or TV show for us to watch okay? I'll be in the living room right after i'm done eating" Jungwoo said. "Okay" Ji-yoo said excitingly and ran to the living room to pick a movie/tv show. Jungwoo just chuckled and ate his dinner in peace and he finally closed his eyes for a while to have some rest. After breathing in and out he gets his dirty dishes and walks to the kitchen. He found Min-ji washing the dishes. "Why aren't you using the dishwasher?" Jungwoo asked. "Well, i tried to use the dish washer but it just won't budge so i just wash the dishes by hand." Min-ji said. Jungwoo walked close to Min-ji who is standing in front of the dishwasher then he kneels down to put his dirty dishes in the dishwasher. He told Min-ji how to use the dishwasher then Min-ji tried to use it and he puts the rest of the dirty dishes in the dishwasher then both of them left the kitchen to check on Ji-yoo. "Hey, so what movie or tv show did you pick?" Jungwoo asked. "Hm.. i picked Spongebob, is that okay?" Ji-yoo asked. "Yea, it's perfectly fine." Jungwoo said sitting down beside Ji-yoo. They all watched a lot of Spongebob movies and series. Without realizing, Ji-yoo slept on Min-ji's lap and they checked what time was it. It was 9pm. Jungwoo told Min-ji to wait in the living room and walks upstairs while carrying Ji-yoo and placed him gently on his bed and put a blanket over him then he kisses his forehead and closes the door gently. He walks downstairs and Min-ji was waiting for him. He sat beside Min-ji and just looked down. "Did he wake up when you carried him?" Min-ji asked. "No, he's fast asleep" Jungwoo said. "Good." Min-ji said. "Can i ask you something?" Jungwoo asked. "Sure" Min-ji said. "How did you actually felt when i left?" Jungwoo asked. "Well, to be honest i felt sad, and upset especially cause i didn't had a chance to say goodbye to you when you went to America. But i started to move on and i slowly remembered you all over again cause you were all over the news. I started to wonder if you still remembered me but i gave up on thinking like that cause we were so distant before you were even successful. I just wanted to see you one more time but i was afraid that people might make rumors about you so i just left our friendship just like that cause i taught that you already left earlier. But when i met you suddenly cause you helped my son, Ji-yoo i was happy that we get to be friends again even though i have a child." Min-ji said while putting on a weak smile. "I'm sorry for making you to feel like that. Everyone told me that you supported me and i did nothing to pay you back" Jungwoo said. "It's okay. It was in the past anyways. We can't change the past so it's better to forget about it." Min-ji said. Jungwoo nodded and they start talking like normal friends then when it got late an the clock showed that it was 11pm, they called it a day and get into their rooms to rest.
