Episode 7

3rd June 2017, Saturday

A whole month has passed by. It felt like time passed by so fast. Min-ji eventually had to break the news to Ji-yoo that he'll be a bit busy even though he's going back to Korea next month because of his acting carrier and Ji-yoo understands pretty fast and he was just happy that Jungwoo won't stay longer in the states. Jungwoo celebrated both of his members birthday which is Ha-jun (the lead dancer) and Ji-ho's birthday last month. He was happy that he got to celebrate their birthdays and had a party together. Today is their 4th year anniversary for being in the group and producing good music. They decided to celebrate their anniversary after they were done performing in one of a famous TV show. Jungwoo told Min-ji that if the party was long, he will try to call Min-ji and Ji-yoo but it depends if he forgets or not and Min-ji just said okay and understands that it's a big moment for Jungwoo and she just wanted Jungwoo to be happy.

They are now at the address Mr. Kim gave them to celebrate their 4th year anniversary. It was quiet far from the Entertainment building and of cores it was also far from their hotel building but they just did as what Mr. Kim told them and had fun. The staff member and Mr. Kim helped them preparing the place so that they can start the live stream cause many fans have been waiting. After they were ready, they started the stream and many fans all over the world started to watch their live stream and of cores Min-ji watched the live stream with Ji-yoo, her dearest son. Ji-yoo was happy seeing Jungwoo and the other members but Min-ji noticed something that no one hasn't noticed. Not even Ji-yoo noticed it. She turned on her phone to check the comment section and she was right, no one hasn't noticed a single thing. Everyone just called Jungwoo their "boyfriend" and stuff like that. "What's up with Jungwoo?" Min-ji said in her head from time to time. She knew that Jungwoo was acting strange. At some point he'll close his eyes for some time then opens his eyes. He also stayed quiet while the others were talking and Min-ji knew that something was up cause he always makes a lot of noise when he's with his other teammates. Jungwoo also just nodded at everything the other members said and answers the questions that he was given as fast as he can't so no one can even pay attention at him at all. Min-ji started to feel a bit concern about Jungwoo but she just shrugs it off, thinking that he's just like this cause he has a lot on his mind. No one can't be the same and when they're certainly busy, of cores they will change in how they act and look. So Min-ji just shrugs it off and tries to concentrate on the other members as well.

After the live stream ended, Jungwoo and the others helped the staff member cleaning up and they packed up and drove straight to their hotel building. Jungwoo was so tired. He just puts on a black cap and his mask on so that his other 2 members who are in the same van with him, won't worry about him. It started to rain before and the rain didn't stop at all. It just got harder and harder. He told the driver to slow down but he informed Jungwoo and the other 2 members that they were chased by 2 other cars. Jungwoo looked back, there were 2 taxi's that were driving extremely fast while following the van that Jungwoo was in. He started to get nervous. "For god sake slow down! It's raining and if we don't slow down we will get in an accident!" Jungwoo yelled at the driver who suddenly lost his patience. The driver was thinking for a while about what Jungwoo said. He suddenly realizes that he was driving as crazy as the 2 other taxi's. He tried to slow down but it was to late. Since he was driving extremely fast and suddenly slows down, the car slipped cause of the road that was wet from the rain and the car flipped 3 times after it stopped. Everything happened so fast and when he looked around, he sees the driver passed out and his 2 other members were unconscious to then he passed out and everything went dark.

Hours has pass since the live stream. Min-ji and Ji-yoo were waiting for Jungwoo to call them. Min-ji didn't really expected him to call cause she knew by the look of it, Jungwoo was exhausted but Ji-yoo told Min-ji that he wants to wait for Jungwoo's call no matter what and Min-ji just smiled and waited for Jungwoo to call. It got late in Korea, Min-ji still waited for Jungwoo to call, looking at her phone blankly while Ji-yoo got tires and slept on Min-ji's lap. Min-ji was about to give and just closed her eye to get some rest when her phone vibrated. She looked at the caller's ID and it had Jungwoo's name on it. She picks up the call "Hi Jungwoo how are you?" Min-ji said who's happy that Jungwoo decided to call. "Good evening mam. This is one of the operators at ******* Hospital. Am i speaking to Miss. Min-ji?" the operator said. "Y-yea, you are speaking to Miss. Min-ji right now. I-is there a problem m-mam?" Min-ji stuttered in her sentences cause she was so nervous. Why is an operator from an hospital calling me? Min-ji said from time to time in her head. "I'm sorry mam, but Mr. Jungwoo, you're friend, he's in the hospital right now. He got badly injured from a car accident and he's still unconscious." the operator said. Min-ji's heart dropped, her mind starts spinning around. No, no, no! This is not Jungwoo!! Min-ji said in her head. "We called you cause your phone number was the first one to show in his emergency call." the operator said. "I-is he still not w-waking u-up?" Min-ji said while crying. "Yes mam, he's still not waking up." the operator said. "I'll book a flight to go there. Send me the address and i will try to manage to arrive there tomorrow." Min-ji said while wiping her tears. "Thank you for understanding mam" the operator said and Min-ji hanged up. Min-ji carefully puts Ji-yoo somewhere else and goes to the balcony to make some calls with her brother. "Min-ji why you calling this late?" Hyujin, Min-ji's brother said. "I need your help ASAP" Min-ji said. "What is it?" Hyujin said. "It's Jungwoo, he got into an accident and now he's badly injured. Can you tell one of your pilots to take me to the states? I need to go there Hyujin, i really do" Min-ji said. "Okay. One of my pilots are still in the airport now. I'll contact him and you can go right away. I'll take care of Ji-yoo. Come back when you think it's the right time okay" Hyujin said. "Thanks" Min-ji said. "Go pack and i'll drive to your place now." Hyujin added. "Stay safe okay?" Hyujin said. "Okay, i will. Thanks" Min-ji said and she quickly hanged up and packed her stuff.

Min-ji's now in her brother's private jet and starts to worry about Jungwoo. She's been in the plane for sometime and the pilot informed her that they are almost there in the states and Min-ji's heart starts to beat faster. She's preparing herself for the worse.
