A Light Fight Between Leaders

'Patolli, I mean. Since he's using Licht's name just like Obito did.' Madara thought looking at Patolli and Valtos.

Madara then disappeared from his spot, as a shower of light shard rained down upon where he was.

'He's fast. Is this the one William told me about?' Patolli thought seeing how he was unable to follow Madaras' movements.

Madara appeared by Asta who was stunned by the being who just appeared before him. Also, he was amazed at how fast Madara moved to avoid those light shards.

"Humans. You are all born sinners." Patolli said making Asta draw both swords.

Patolli then began to cry while Sally was in his arms. He then placed his hand on her face.

"You poor thing... Sally, look at how much they've hurt you." Patolli said then commanding Valtos to make a portal to send to their base.

"See you later, Madara. Until next time." Sally said while she descended inside the portal.

"I'm sorry, Master Licht. I should've never let her go alone. I never imagined all of this would happen." Valtos said sounding guilty

"There's no need for you to feel responsible. I'm sure they used some underhanded-" Patolli said before behind interrupted.

*Splash!*

From above him, Madara created a large mass of water. He didn't know how Patolli didn't sense it, but when he released it, it soaked him, and Valtos.

"You talk too much," Madara said with a serious face. Patolli had a face of indifference as he dried his clothes.

"You will perish!" Patolli said with a dark look on his face. Madara created a wood clone to protect Gauche.

Another shower of light shards rained down upon the three. Asta was doing his best to dodge or block the attack but kept getting hit. Madara was effortlessly slicing through the light shards while occasionally glaring at Patolli.

Once the light shards stopped coming. Asta had a few wounds, Madara seemed bored, and Gauche was on the ground.

Asta then rushed toward Patolli. Patolli moved faster than Asta could follow and ended up behind him.

"That won't work. I'll be taking that grimoire back." Patolli said as he began to created a ball of light to blast Asta.

*Crash!*

Madara kicked Patolli into the wall as soon as he fired his attack. Yami came through a portal and cut through the attack, protecting Asta. A large dust cloud formed when Patolli hit the wall.

"The first time when meet and this is how you treat family, Uncle?" Madara said trying his best to hold back the smile on his first.

"Uncle?" Everyone muttered to themselves. Patolli then came to a quick realization.

"No matter," Madara said as he walked over to Yami and Asta.

"Oi, didn't I tell you to take the day off? Want me to give you a permanent vacation?" Yami asked while gripping Asta's skull.

"ow, ow, ow, ow!" Asta said with his feet dangling in the air.

"So, what's the deal?" Yami asked while taking a quick look around.

"Apparently he's the leader of the Eye Of The Midnight Sun." Asta taking said shocking Finral.

'He just called me Uncle. Don't tell me. Is that why this feeling of me knowing him is so strong?' Patolli thought. He was going through a roller coaster of emotions when he heard Madara. Though he didn't show it on the outside, he felt fear and guilt for attacking Lichts' child.

'No! He sides with the humans. If he sides with them, he deserves to die with them.' Patolli said making his own resolve.

While Finral and Asta were talking, Patolli shot a light shard at Finral. Yami, sliced through it with little to no effort.

"What the hell do you think you're doing to my ride?" Yami asked in a serious tone and his face darkened.

"Oi, Madara. What did you mean by uncle? Are you two related?" Yami asked in a carefree tone.

"I don't know. I feel like I've met him before." Madara said making up an excuse.

"Light Magic: Light Swords Of Conviction." Multiple shards of light, with four lines, shot toward Yami at great speed. With what looked like not much effort, Yami cut through each shard.

"How about this, then?" Patolli said flashing forward in a bright golden light behind Yami with monstrous speed. Patolli created an orb of light in the palm of his hand. The same attack he was going to kill Asta with.

Without turning around, Yami swung his sword and destroyed the orb of light.

"So this is the power of the great Magic Knight Heretic," Patolli said with a smile.

"Huh? Hey, have I met you before?" Yami asked turning around to face Patolli. Hearing this, Patolli's eyes slightly widened. They then began to engage in close combat.

"I'm pretty sure I don't know anyone who uses light magic," Yami said swinging his dark magic coated katana at Patolli. "Who the hell are you?"

"Let me tell you a fable," Patolli said created more light shards and pointing them toward Yami. Yami then began to slice through all of them.

"Long ago, in a certain village, there lived a people with very strong magic. They were loved by mana. They changed the weather and manipulated ley lines. They had the power to rival Gods." Patolli said glancing at Madara.

"The humans from outside the village worshipped them as such. However, gradually, the humans grew fearful of their power. They envied it. They tricked them, massacred them, and stole their powers." Patolli said.

"What kind of story is that? What's that got to do with you? Planning to become a bard or something?" Yami asked while slicing through the light shards.

Yami then ran toward Patolli. Since he was in the air, Yami ran up the wall while slicing through the shards.

"All right, I've got a little story, too. In a certain place, there was a pure young man. His folks were fishermen, and they started sending him out to fish from a young age. And then he got shipwrecked... and washed away in a strange country. Since his race and culture were different, he went through some nasty stuff there. But... he kicked all their asses and became the boss of a group. The end!" Yami said blowing out smoke.

"You bastard! You dare mock Master Licht?!" Valtos asked angrily with the story Yami just told.

"Shut up! Your face is scary!" Yami said with a scared look on his face.

Yami then sliced through another one of Patolli's attacks, but this time, he was hit.

'Hmm... he got faster.' Yami thought after receiving damage.

"As a foreigner, I suppose my story had nothing to do with you. Would you mind stepping off the stage, then?" Patolli said shooting fast light shards at Yami. Some hitting him.

"Are you the guy who took out Fuegoleon?" Yami asked.

"I am," Patolli responded with his lips curled.

Asta's eyes went wide after hearing that, but he knew he couldn't do anything. He was too weak to avenge Fuegoleon. The only thing he could do was watch and that angered him.
