And we are back. This time around is, even more, weirder yeah pardon my English, being transported around had spiked my creative mood.

Weird thing is that I don't even know what to call this place because there is no identifying feature, is like I am in limbo, but good thing I am not alone.

I have a familiar face featuring in this episode of being transported to weird places part three, guess who.

Nah you got it wrong, not Christy but her wife, and oh she is not crying rather she is smiling. I might even go out on a limb here and say she is happy.

Weird right, I mean her wife just died, but I have to tell you she is one handsome lady, and that smile on her makes her more handsome.

Ok, who is talking...

"When do you think she is going to wake up I have missed her so much, is been like three months, "a masculine voice

"Dude, she is awake, but sleeping, " countered a feminine voice

"So can I wake her, " repeated the masculine voice eagerly.

"You don't have to, I am awake, " Rachel whispered into the room.

But the new occupants heard her.

"Ahhhhh, " the tall boy squealed like a girl wheeling to face the direction of the voice.

A smack landed on his shoulder. "Dude, you scared me, " the red hair among them said annoyed while clutching her chest.

"She scared me first, " the boy whines pointing in my direction, before running at me with the others shortly behind him...

"You scared, me baby. Don't ever do that again..."

And the next thing I knew a very thin lip was grabbing mine in a passionate kiss.

Org dude, I just woke up, let me brush out the coma breath first, I whined in my mind while tapping the boy at the back to let go.

"Dude let go, we know you missed her, " the dark skin girl in their midst said to the amorous boy.

"Oh, I am sorry, " he said with flushed cheeks leaning away and up from me.

Finally, I can have my air back I thought with relief, before facing the three people.

"Who the hell are you guys?"

Their mouths assumed various poses of surprise while they stared wide-eyed at me.

Guys, is time to leave, the doctor with mum last time I woke up said to my visitors.

"Doctor, she can't remember us, " whispered the dude like I am deaf and can't hear him.

Yeah right, weak not deaf dude I muttered softly but the three individuals were more interested in what the good doctor has to say about the unexpected predicament.

"Well sometimes when patients who have been in a coma for a while wake up they tend to have temporary amnesia which will wear off in time."

"When?" the dark skin girl asked flashing a worried look at me.

"Don't worry guys I don't have any amnesia, " I chirped in from the bed.

They all turned to give me I don't believe you look.

"Boyfriend, best friend, best friend, " I said pointing at them one by one.

"Rach, " the dark skin groaned as three pairs of twin glares swung my way...

"What, "I whined, "I have seen people do it in the movies that I couldn't resist doing it. I mean now the opportunity presented itself who knows when I have this kind of opportunity, " I teased with a slight smile.

But my friends didn't appreciate my humor, or they have lost theirs, any way their glaring expression didn't change.

"Rach that wasn't funny, " the red hair said.

"Yeah you don't have to tell me I can see it on your faces, " I grumbled.

"Guys you have to leave, " the doctor said once again heralding my grumbling friends towards the door.

"Bye Rach, " they chorused at the doorway, waving their hands at me, which I returned with a small wave of my own.

"So Doc, when can I make a break for it?" I asked...

Don't blame me I have been on my back for three months in here so asking when I will be released for better scenery instead of my plain walled white room is not too much to ask.

"The good news is that the three months you were in a coma has given you some of your injuries time to heal, but the fracture you sustained was repaired using plate and screws, and by that I mean....."

"Internal splints used by orthopedic surgeons for internal reduction of the fracture."

The doctor arched his brow at his patient medical wording. "Med student?"

"Nah, just an avid reader, "Rachel fibbed. Obviously, she wasn't going to tell the doctor that those words magically came to her head, duh. She will be locked up until further in this white prison and worse with the loonies so no Rachel was keeping this weird piece of information along with her weird dreams to herself.

"Yeah, I find it hard to imagine that a young girl like you dabble in medical books for fun, " the doctor said.

Rachel shrugged her shoulders with no response.

"Anyway, to answer your question we will be keeping you for one more week to make sure everything is all healed up and that you are ready for your physio. Do you need me to explain that one? " the doctor teased lightly.

Rachel rolled her eyes at the man. "Even none medical people know that one doc."

The doctor chuckled, "alright rest up, will check on you later."

Rachel nodded her head as she felt her eyes drooping.

Its been three weeks since Jericho's nasty encounter with her best friend and since then she has been drowning her sorrows with lots and lots of alcohol.

If she wasn't drinking she was crying, if she wasn't crying she was cursing her wife out for leaving her in this miserable state.

She knew it wasn't Christy's fault, but she can't help herself being angry at her blaming her. If only she had taken that lump seriously.

She was a fucking medical doctor for Christ's sake, Jericho thought furiously hurling the glass of wine she was currently drinking across the wall of their bedroom as tears rush down her eyes.

She picked up the framed picture of her and her wife, they were both skiing at a ski resort in the last Christmas vacation before they got the news of her cancer and everything changed. They had been so happy not knowing what awaits them in the next new year.

"Why did you have to leave me?" she asked softly tracing her fingers along with her wife's face.

"I miss you so much, I miss you baby "Jericho cried bringing the picture close to her face and peppering her wife's faces with light kisses.

Hugging the frame to her chest she fell back to the bed, and her tears fell harder. She wept till she succumbed to slumber.

Jericho was suddenly surrounded by a sense of warmth, comfort, and security. Something she hasn't felt in the past few months.

Basking in the warm feeling she groaned and turned feeling the rays of sunshine on her face.

Where are am I ? Jericho thought allowing herself to enjoy the heat of the sun.

"You are always beautiful when you sleep, " a familiar voice whispered beside Jericho causing her to freeze.

It can't be, she thought not daring to hope, to believe. She is dead her mind muttered to her, but Jericho ignored it turning to confirm the voice she just heard.

The grinning face of her dead wife confronted her.

It was her wife looking very much alive with smiles and love radiating from her beautiful face.

"Oh my God, "Jericho cried pulling her wife into her arms and kissing her soundly. She molded her lips against the soft succulent ones she has missed so badly. She immediately flipped her wife to her back on the green grass grinding on top of her as she kissed her harder.

"Hold on baby, I don't have much time, " Christy cried snatching her lips from the reluctant ones of her partner.

Jericho looked down at her wife in confusion.

"Oh, honey, I am still dead. I am just here to tell you I am sorry. I am sorry for leaving you baby, " Christy said to her wife, wiping the tears flowing down her eyes with her fingers.

"If only I had to take the lump seriously, but honey we can change the past, but we can determine how we live in the future so I want you to let me go, and live on with your life."

"No, no "Jericho shook her head trying to continue kissing her wife.

Christy dodged her face, she felt herself being pulled away and grabbed her face tightly "promise me baby that you will give love a chance when it comes knocking on your door."

Jericho didn't understand what was happening all she knew she was losing her wife again as she watched her body fading from underneath her, her face imploring her to make the promise.

"I promise, " Jericho whispered in tears as the face joined the whole body and evaporated into thin air.

Jericho slumped to the ground in bitter tears and the next time she opened her eyes she was in her bedroom alone.
