WEDDING PROPOSAL

All day I was busy working, but Veer was always there on my mind. I don't know what to do with Veer. I don't if I'll be able to forgive him or not. May be I'll forgive him, but not now. I need some time. Emma is very kind, she helped me adjusting here in office. We've become a good friends. Everyone in the office were good except my manager. I didn't like him a bit. Soon the day passed away and I went home. After freshening up, I decided to watch movie. I was watching a movie, and in that movie hero was proposing herione for marriage. And that reminded me of Nikhil. I was so happy when Nikhil proposed me for marriage.

Flash back 2 months back.

I working in my cabin and suddenly I received a message. I opened it and saw that it was from Nikhil. He sent, "What are you doing this evening?"

I smiled and replied, "Nothing intresting?" Immediately he replied, "Then how about we go out this evening?" I replied, "Ok"

After a minute he sent, "You'll receive your dress by evening, and be ready by 7. I'll come and pick you up." After that I didn't reply anything. I was very curious to know, which dress he's gonna send. Also I was eagerly waiting to see where he's gonna take me. I finished my work soon and went home.

As soon as I reached home, mom told me that I got a courier and she kept it in my room. I immediately ran to my room to check it. I opened it and saw a beautiful red gown. It was really pretty and I loved it alot. He also sent matching earrings and footwear with it. I went to my mom and said that I'm going out with Nikhil. I told my mom a month back that Nikhil and I are seeing each other. And she couldn't be more happy. When I told my mom that I'm going out with Nikhil she happily permitted me to go.

I got ready and I heard my mom calling me that Nikhil has come. I looked my final appearance in mirror and then went downstairs. Nikhil was standing there in white Armaani suit and red tie matching with my outfit. He was looking smoking hot in this suit. By the time I reached the last step, he came there and held out his for me like gentleman and took it. He led me out towards his SUV. He opened the passenger door for me. When I got in, he closed the door and went and sat in the driver seat and started driving.

On our way, I tried asking him where we were going, but he didn't give atleast a hint to me. Suddenly he stopped the car in a desserted road. I looked at him not knowing why he stopped the car. Then he fished out something from his pocket. It was a blind fold, he closed my eyes with it. I asked him why he was closing my eyes but he didn't say anything. Then he started driving again, after 5 minutes he stopped the car. Maybe we have reached our destination. He opened the door and held my hand and helped me getting out of his car. Then he locked the car and helped me walking. After walking for 2 minutes, He left me and moved aside. I called out for him, but he was nowhere around. He came back after a minutes and opened my blindfold.

When I opened my eyes, I saw fairy lights everywhere. The place was decorated was very beautifully. And in middle there's a table. Everything was so beautiful around. I was so happy, everything here is very peaceful. I absolutely loved it. Then Nikhil asked me, "How is it? Did you like it?"

I hugged him and said, "I loved it, thank you for making these arrangements and bringing me here." He smiled seeing my happy face and then said, "Come let's go inside."

After walking till inside, he made me sit and he sat opposite to me. We had our dinner while talking and teasing each other. Over this one and half year our relation has grown drastically, though we had some fights in between. But we overcame all of them and we're here together. Everything is like a beautiful dream for me. After our dinner, he held his out for dance and I happily accepeted. He played light music and we just swayed to the music and enjoing each other's company.

Suddenly the music was stopped, I didn't know why it stopped suddenly. I was looking arund to see what happened. But suddenly when Nikhil caught my hand, I turned towards him. He was sitting on his knees and held my hand. I was about to say something but he signalled me to keep quiet. I think he's gonna propose me, I was actually waiting for this day. But I didn't want to force Nikhil, now when he's actually going to propose me I could not contain my happiness.

He started saying, "Our first meet was disaster, but still I found you cute. Then we met again in the flight, the day is very special to me. The day I got know about you, until then you was just a Dad's little princess but that day I got to know that you're more than that. To be honest, I was very jealous of Veer on that day. That day I realized how much you care for your loved ones. I wondered if you loved your best friend to that extent then how you would love your boy friend. Later when you started avoided me, I realized how important you're to me. I realized that I need you in my life. So, I did everything to gain your forgiveness. That day when I found flowers in my cabin, you don't know how happy I was. I felt as if I conquered the world. Then during our meets I realized that I've fallen for you and there's no looking back. Back then when I first met you, I didn't know my feelings towards you. But now I know that I cannot live without you. So, you Miss. Dhrithi Saxena, share your life with me. Will you be my life partner and make me the luckiest man on the earth?"

When he finished saying, I was already on tears. I hugged him tightly and said "Yes."

He was very happy, he lifted me in his arms and twirled me around in the air. Then he slid a diamond ring on my finger. After spending some quality time, we decided to go back home. All the time during our journey, I was blushing. I was so happy, I was looking at my fingers and the ring which was constantly reminding me his cute proposal. He was also looking me ocassionally and smiling seeing me blush. I think he's feeling proud that he made me feel that way for him.

After reaching home, seeing my flushed face and the ring on my finger, my parents understood. They were also very happy for us. Mom made us eat sweet. Then Nikhil left to his home. I immediately ran to my room, I clicked the picture of ring and sent it to Veer and then called him. When I told him what has happened, he was also very happy for us. He said he'll come immediately and take me out. I changed my dress into jeans and tshirt. Veer has come home and he took me out on his bike. He took me to a ice-cream parlour. And we celebrated it in our way, then he dropped me home.

I was back from my thought when I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. I looked up and saw Annie auntie standing there with concerned eyes. I asked her, "What happened auntie?" She wiped my tears and said, "I should be the one asking you sweet heart. Why are you crying?"

I said, "Nothing auntie, just thinking of something. But I'm ok." I didn't know when tears filled up in my eyes until Annie auntie saw me. He hugged me and said, "It's okay sweety. Everything will be fine" I nodded my head and hugged her back. Then she called me for dinner. We had our dinner together and I went to my room and slept.

Next day, my mood was not good. I didn't even feel like having lunch, even though Emma forced me to have lunch with her, but I refused and continued doing my work. And to my bad, my manager was also not in his right set of mind. He was ordering me and shouting unncessarily. Soon the day passed, and I decided to go home and just sleep. I came out of the bulding and was waiting for Jack, then I saw Veer standing there. I was shocked seeing Veer, I didn't know how did he know that I'll be here. All this was too much for me and my head started spinning and was about to fall, but some one caught me.
