REVELATIONS

We were walking in garden, then Arjun's phone started ringing. When he took his phone out of, Papa's name was flashing on his phone's screen. I wonder why papa is calling him at this time. Arjun excused and answered the call. I don't what Papa is talking to him, but Arjun replied, "Yes sir, she's with me. I'm giving phone to her." I don't get why Papa called Arjun to talk to me. What must have happened that he wanted to talk to me urgently. I took the phone from his hand and spoke to him.

"Hello"

"Dhrithi where's your phone? Even Veer is also not answering my calls."

"But Papa what happened? Why are you so tensed? Just calm down and tell me what happened"

"Dhrithi your Mom's health is not good. She isn't taking food from 2 days. She wants to meet you and apologize. Now her condition is not good, so I bought her to hospital. I didn't want to trouble you, but please can you once come and meet your mom."

"Papa please don't talk like that. I'll definitely come India, she's my mom after all. Take care of her, until I come there. Bye Papa."

I gave Arjun his phone back and ran inside. I directly went to Veer's room. Veer has just come out from washroom. Seeing me so tensed, he came to me and cupped my face and asked, "Misti what happened? Why are you so tensed?"

I replied, "Veer mumma's health is not good. She's in hospital, we've to go back to India."

He replied, "Misti calm down, we will go and meet her. But you just calm down, everything will be fine."

Arjun has also come, he was so confused. Then I realized that, he heard me talking to papa. And by now he might have understood that I'm Neeraj Saxena's daughter. I'm his boss's daughter. So, I turned towards Arjun and said, "Arjun I'm sorry, I know you have many questions in your mind. I'll answer all the questions, but now I've to go to India. My mom needs me."

He said, "It's okay Dhrithi, I understand. First I'll arrange tickets for you both." When he turned to go, uncle, aunty and Anshu were standing there. Uncle said, "Dhrithi I spoke to your dad, he told me everything. I went to your room, but you wasn't there. So, I came here. I'll arrange tickets for you both. Pack your stuff, we're leaving from here."

Anshu said, "Papa please can I also go to India with them. Please" Uncle replied, "Sure beta, you can go. I'll book 3 three tickets." Veer said, "Wait uncle." He turned towards Arjun and said, "If you don't have any problem, will you also come with us?" Arjun said, "If you people have no problem, then I'll definitely come."

I replied, "Why would we have any problem? You're our friend."

I turned towards uncle and said, "Okay I'll arrange tickets for you all. We're leaving in half an hour. So, get ready."

I looked at Veer one last time and went to my room. We packed our things, got ready and went down stairs. Everyone were there already, so we started from there.

As it's night time, driver was not there. So, Veer was driving aunty and uncle's car. And Arjun was driving our car. Anshu said that she'll come with Veer, as he'll be alone.

So, Arjun and I are going in one car. Veer, Anshu, Aunty and Uncle are coming in one car. I think Veer and Anshu has intentionally left us alone. Because we need to talk and there's so many questions running in Arjun's mind.

Arjun was silent and not talking anything. So, I decided to break the ice.

I said, "I'm sorry Arjun, for hiding this from you."

He said, "It's okay Dhrithi, I understand. There must be a reason."

I replied, "You might have already known about my broken marriage, I was very shattered after that. My marriage news was all over headlines. I just wanted to go away from all the nuisance. So, I came here. Nobody knows about me in the office. Because I wanted it to be that way. I thought of telling you, once we go back. All this happened in between. I'm sorry, if I hurt you."

He said, "It's okay, like I said I understand. Frankly speaking it did hurt me in the first, but then I realized, it's been only three days we've become friends. So, it's okay. You don't have to ask sorry so many times."

I said, "Thank you so much for understanding."

After some time, he said, "Dhrithi can I ask you something?" I replied, "Yeah sure."

He said, "I've heard so many rumours about your marriage. But will you tell me what actually happened if you have no problem."

I said, "You already know that Veer and I are friends from our childhood and we cannot live with each other." He replied, "Yes, I've seen it. You guys are really sweet." I continued, "So, my fiancee. Sorry ex-fiancee, he didn't like Veer. He didn't like my friendship with Veer. So, before our marriage, My mom and Nikhil warned Veer to go away from my life otherwise he wouldn't marry me. And the worst part is my Mom forced Veer to not tell me anything and convinced him to go away. Veer couldn't say no to my mom, and Veer would do anything for me. So, he left me and went away some where. I got to know about this on my marriage day, except my mom's involvement in sending away Veer. So, when confronted Nikhil, he asked me to choose either him or Veer. I hated Nikhil for putting me in such a situation. For me both Nikhil and Veer both are equally important. How can I choose one? You tell me what will you do, if you had been in my place?"

He replied, "I'd have slapped Nikhil and would have walked away. Just because you're getting married to him doesn't give him any rights to take decisions for you. And he don't have any rights to put you in such a situation. Actually, it's good that you didn't get married to him."

I replied, "Thanks for understanding. Everyone says that I took a bad decision and it was very rude of me to leave the marriage alter just like that."

He said, "No, you did right by not marrying him. Just because you're marrying Nikhil you can't just throw away Veer from your life. I totally agree with you."

I continued, "I was angry with Mom, so came here without telling her. She doesn't know that I'm here. Since I didn't know much about my Mom's conspiracy against Veer, I was angry at Veer too. I asked papa to not tell anyone about my whereabouts. Veer hired a detective, traced me and came here. That's why I was shocked seeing Veer. Later Veer told me how my Mom forced him. Everything that happened behind my back. I was very angry at my mom for doing this to me. Now I think she's feeling guilty, that's why she isn't taking food. She wants to meet me, so papa asked us to come India."

Arjun said, "It's good that she realized her mistake. She might be missing you too."

I replied, "Yes, may be."

He said, "Then will you stay back at India or come back here."

I replied, "I can't stay there, atleast not now. I need time. I cannot forgive my mom that easily."

He replied, "Ok. You now I was confused when you said that Veer and you are best friends. Because in the news, I got to know that Veer's best friend is Miss. Saxena. I thought to ask Veer, but later I thought against it. I concluded that you three are best friends, that's why Mr. Saxena recommended you. I also wondered why you both left Miss. Saxena alone after her broken marriage. But now it all makes sense."

I smiled and replied, "You could have asked, then all this confusion wouldn't be there."

He said, "You would have revealed your identity to me?" I replied, "Yes, I'd have told you. Because you're my friend and you have the right to know everything about me." He replied, "Thanks for considering me as your friend, I'll never let you down."

I smiled at that and said, "Do you have any more doubts?"

He said, "Tell why did you join as my assistant."

I said, "Like I said, I wanted to learn everything. I worked as designer for two years, now I want to learn how financial and mangement department works. And then start my own company." He said, "I mean you could have easily joined as CEO, but why as assistant."

I replied, "I don't want any position, that I don't deserve or the position that I didn't earn. So, I joined as your assistant. I even told papa to arrange a proper interiew and then hire me. But papa said, for that I need to reveal my full name and all details. That's why I joined without interview, or else I wouldn't have accepted."

He replied, "I'm impressed. I wish you all the luck and success and I hope you start your company very soon. But which company do you want to start?"

I replied, "Interior Designing" He replied, "That's great."

After that we spoke random things and soon we reached home. Arjun left after Veer has come and we started packing things. Our flight is in next 4 hours and we need to start very soon.
