Ch-7 Drowning in trouble

Plan of George worked exactly as he thought and they crossed the lasers safely. After lasers there were two guards standing. Joe took a pen out of his pockets and threw towards the guards and the guards fell to the ground unconscious. Joe took a gun from the sleeping guard and moved ahead, George followed him. Now they were in front of a door. George took out map which Charles left but there was no way further. I think Charles made this map himself, Joe said, and wasn't able to explore this place further, George added. So we have to complete our way and the map by our selves, George said.

When they opened the door they saw a big hall with full of strange high tech weapons all around. George was staring at a weapon he took from wall and said, it's powered by your invention Joe. Joe didn't knew that George know about their invention.

We don't have time to even think about what you are thinking, George said. Joe agreed and moved forward and reached a door again. Joe hacked it's password and moved forward. After a walk for approximately Thirty hours without rest they saw sunlight and found themselves in an open ground. They walked forward and found a tree. Joe stopped their for some rest, George stopped him from sitting and said that we are very close to him. How can you say that, Joe asked.

Now George understood the pattern of the way and guards and said, don't you notice it when we started to walk the places were heavily guarded but when we reached closure there were no guards but the places were secured with technology and if my thought is correct here is some sort of trap which we can't see.

You are over thinking what kind of trap can be here in an open space like this, Joe argued and sat with a support of tree. But for his surprise he was not able to touch that tree.

Then he stood up and started walking towards the tree and he passed through the tree without any trouble but after some steps he was hit by something hard. When he moved his hand he felt a pillar there.

George was looking at the situation and said that we are not in open area we are still in a room and all these trees are illusion and here are some walls and pillars in between, I think we are in a maze, and that means we are on the right way.

George took out a laser light from his pocket and turned it on. You think it's time to play, Joe asked in a rude tone. If this illusion is created by holographic projection then if any solid object comes in path of laser it will stop in air and if an object is fake laser will pass through it, George answered. So this laser toy will show us path now and we have to be more careful from now on.

After listening it Joe reacted as a dumb student, he was feeling shame as a kid was more attentive and smart than him.

With the help of that laser they traveled a short way and saw a huge door. Joe tried to open it but found that the door was an illusion too. George searched the surrounding of door and found that the nearby visible walls are actually a solid object. Joe touched and found some keys on it and hacked the lock. They heard the sound of door opening but the visible wall was still there. George moved his hand towards the wall and his hand passed through it.

Finally they were out of that illusion room and were standing on a floor with red and blue coloured tiles on it. George took the first step on a blue tile and suddenly the colour of tiles changed, now he was standing on a red tile. He found blue tile safe so he stepped on the next blue tile but this time a bullet passed over his head. He was lucky as he is only ten years old and short in height at present. Now he stepped on a blue tile again and this time it became red.

Seeing this George concluded that they have to step on alternate colour that means first blue then red and so on. Joe walked according to George's instruction. When George and Joe were to step on last block all the blocks changed into blue and the needed a red one to step on. The blocks were so big that they were unable to jump and cross it. Taking risk Joe stepped on blue and a bullet was shot, and that was their chance, George pushed Joe and they both ran off holding hands and reached the next door.

According to Joe's calculations behind this door was James. That means it was the last trouble to get over.
