Final Chapter: Happy Ever After

"It's been three years since Francis Escobar's death. People in the human realm learned to coexist with the other races, less people and races were fighting and killing eachother, it was peaceful now. Of course, you have some bad apple's in any society," Arya put the feather down inside the ink cartridge and got up. Since Grimm's death, she'd taken him and disappeared from this world. She goes into town from time to time to gather food and other necessities, but she primarily stayed in the woods, in a nice wooden cabin, with her dead companion. Going down the stairs, she admired all the emptiness she felt. Her home was filled with love that she wished she could feel within herself. Occasionally, when she's in the human kingdom, seeing as it's closest, Arya will catch a glimpse of Puer or Treyala helping around, and catching criminals, but the twins and Jack, she hasn't seen since that day. Maybe he finally settled down, met a nice girl or guy. In her living room, she had the cloak Grimm gave her, beside his dull Sycthe. Sitting in the rocking chair, she looked at the unlit fire place, and summoned Allie. Purring against her, Arya pat the cat, "You may be a familiar, but you're my little one." She fell asleep.

Hours later, a knocking came at the door, jolting Arya awake. Her windows were closed, but she didn't feel like peering through to see who. She did see that the light was bleeding through the cracks of the blinds, sun must be going down. Getting up, she moved Allie and placed the sleeping cat back on the chair, and kissed her forehead, "Thank you,"she whispered. Going to the tattered cloak, Arya put it on and flipped the hood over, "Dark Magic-Obscure Projection," Arya's face was now covered by a smoke she could only see through. Going to the door, she grabbed the dagger beside it and hid it in her cloak. With her free arm, she opened the door. The face she saw, it mad her drop the dagger onto the ground behind her. Making a made dash, her hood flew off, and her spell had gone undone. Flying into his arms, Arya hugged him tightly, and she even began to cry, "Why did you leave me?"

Grimm caressed her hair, "I know I know, but because a certain somebody had kept an item of mine."

Arya realized that his Sycthe is a magic item, and she cried more, "Please, never leave me again."

"I don't plan on it."

Part of Arya wanted to ask him many questions, but she was glad to not be alone anymore.

The two went inside the cabin, and Arya told Grimm to wait for him in the living room.

Going to her journal, she wrote, "Seems like I did get a, Happy Ever After."
