Endings and beginnings

After that school started up again and me and Shiru graduated together. I also got to meet Shiru's family, his mom, dad and little sister were really nice. I became friends with Shiru's little sister Yukki who was a year younger than me. My mom and dad let me stay the summer in japan with Shiru's family so we became really close and around my twentieth birthday in april Shiru finally asked for me to marry him. Our wedding was beautiful as the fall colors were just coming on in early september. We then bought a house near nara japan. My parents were a bit sad, but I promised I'll come visit. Quickly after getting married we had Sosuke and a few years after that Aki.

"Reina, are you ready?" Shiru asks, sitting down beside me. I was sitting on our porch in my traditional kimono watching the snowfall. My ginkgo leaf locket dangling from my neck with a picture of Shiru and I at that skiing lodge from the Christmas we first met.

"Yeah I'm ready" I say leaning on Shiru. Hearing footsteps behind me, Aki jumped into my lap.

"Mommy look how pretty I look" Aki says twirling around in her kimono with her hair done.

"You look beautiful sweetie" I tell Aki, she was almost six now and was so cute. Ichigo meowing at my feet.

"Sosuke did my hair for me," Aki says smiling. As Sosuke comes up running behind me. My baby's were already so old. Sosuke was already eight.

"Sosuke you are so sweet to your sister" I say, getting up and kissing the top of his head, he had his father's eyes.

"Mommy where going to miss the festival" Aki wines jumping up and down with anticipation. That kid had so much energy just like I did when I was her age.

"Don't worry we're coming" I say jumping off of our bamboo deck. Shiru takes my hand, he was also wearing traditional kimonos. Our wedding rings glimmered on are hands. Sosuke and Aki ran down are homes pathway to the road. It was snowing lightly as I shivered a bit. Shiru put his warm hands in mine as we walked together.

"You know what this reminds me of," Shiru says, pulling me into a warm embrace.

"Yeah" I reply smiling, Shiru pulls me into his embrace, as his soft lips touch mine. Snow falling on us.

"I love you Reina," Shiru whispers.

"I love you too Shiru," I whisper back, kissing shiru and closing my eyes. Walking together in the snow hand in hand we smile remembering the happy years we spent together, happy to spend many more.
