Chapter 56

It didn't take long at all for Ruby to return, you were sitting there waiting for maybe thirty seconds at most. She was hauling a surprisingly large amount of wooden boxes over her shoulders.

And...a small brightly coloured parcel clasped between her hands. It looked like a present of some kind.

"What's that?" you asked, tilting your small black furred head to the side in curiosity.

Ruby grabbed the boxes from her back and swung them off, dropping them on the ground with a series of heavy thuds, before prancing over to you, a big wide grin on her cute face.

"Welll~" she hummed, plopping to a stop in front of you and bending down to present the brightly coloured parcel to you, "I heard from Weiss a few days ago that your birthday passed not long ago, and I felt really bad about how you don't have any access to a scroll or anything like that of your own right now, so I went and got you this!" she set it down in front of you.

"Huh...thanks Ruby," you gave her as genuine as smile as you could in this body, you were actually touched. Nobody had ever given you a birthday present before, well a physical one at least. Well, Weiss had planned out a gift for you in advance that she let you know of just a few days ago. She'd managed to trade all the stocks she'd helped you invest in within Dust Shops in Vale after Torchwick started stealing all the dust and the stocks all dropped massively, for a single percentage of the stock in the Schnee Dust Company. How she managed that, you don't know, but it was a hell of a step up, "It means a lot." you confessed.

"Open it, open it!" she enthusiastically urged you on.

Chuckling, you did just that. You lifted one of your paws up, your razor sharp claws glinting in the sunlight and gave a quick slice over the top, cutting it open with a single black claw.

The paper peeled back and the lid of a plain cardboard box flopped open, and staring up at you was a brand new scroll, and on top of it a headset, a small connection device that you knew were for linking up to scrolls and giving them voice commands.

Your eyes widened, "Ruby..you didn't!" you gasped, unable to contain your delight. It was so, so hard to use scrolls in your current form, to the point where you had to let others generally type things on them or leave a set of movies or such on auto play. The headset would allow you to get around that issue entirely, on top of having a bunch of other handy features.

Ruby grinned proudly, "Oh, that's not all!" she pointed at you, "Check this out, I think you'll really like this extra little present I got you." the perky silver eyed girl reached down and pressed the power button on the scroll, booting it up.

A few seconds later, it was fully loaded an reached the desktop. And what you saw made your eyes widen in shock, and not a little bit of arousal. The desktop wallpaper had been changed from the default...to a picture of Ruby herself. A picture of Ruby herself, dressed in nothing more than some skimpy black lacy underwear that showed off her full, luscious thighs, thick hips and large round breasts amazingly. The lacy black stalking's trailing up to mid-thigh just made her look ever sexier in it.

"Since you like my body so much, I figured if I did this, you would be able to check out my body whenever you wanted, even when we're apart," Ruby preened under your wide eyed and appreciative stare, "Really, sometimes I astound myself with my genius."

"...You're amazing Ruby." you shook your head in amazement. This girl, really was something else.

"Hehe!" the girl thumbed her nose proudly, "But, enough of that! You can ogle my boobs all you want later, for now, let's try these babies out!" she turned and kicked one of the larger boxes, causing it to spring open. She bent down, her combat skirt riding up deliciously on her thighs and a moment later, stood back up with a beautiful glittering longsword in hand.

It was exquisitely crafted, and looked a lot like Arc's sword. The only difference was the blade itself. Running down the middle, and lining the edges of the blade and point, was a glittering green substances that shone with a deadly sheen under the sunlight.

"Check this out!" Ruby urged you, and gave the sword a single test swing at the ground. Instead of rattling or anything like that, it carved a thin trench in the solid concrete ground as if it were a hot knife through butter.

Goddamn.
