Lucky but Idiotic

[ Adryan POV ]

I was taking Haya to the school infirmary. That bitch hurt her again. I just couldn't imagine she dared to hurt in front of me. How dare she! She hurt my girlfriend right before my eyes. And I could not do anything. It feels so shitty. This hurts me too. More likely hurt my ego. I will make sure this isn't ending here.

"Ouch!!" Haya suddenly lose her balance. But thank god.. I hold her in the right time. Just like any typical romantic movie. Tsk. I suddenly felt cheesy. This rubbish feelings make me weird.

"Umm...Babe are you okay? Can you walk?" I asked backing away.

"Yes I do feel better after being kicked by your admirer." She said sarcastically.

"Come on. Don't be like that. You know that more than anyone how I hate her." I replied to her sarcasm.

"Sure you do. But I have to suffer from it. And I don't like it at all. You know it more than anyone also." She rolled her eyes.

"Yeah but let's forget it and get you treated. Let's go." I said rushing her to the infirmary.

''Okay okay.."

[ Timeskip; One hour later ]

"Hey bro!" Someone called me with a unfamiliar nickname.

"Hi maybe." I greeted back with a confused look. It was the new prince charming. Rick. The boy who Heidie is after now.

"Why is the maybe added? Come on don't act like we are strangers." He says while hitting me lightly.

"I suppose we are strangers dude." I gave him a tired look.

"Not anymore. I heard Heidie used to like you a lot. I heard one of your friends talking about it. Like how she always roamed around you like a abandoned puppy. Look bro I don't know how you guys ended up like this. I don't even wanna know about it. But let's say I need your help. Please don't say no to it." He said.

"Help?" Now he is making me more confused. He was the one that she liked? Like seriously? Her standards in boys are getting low day by day. Well not that I care.

"Yes your help. Make me your secret friend."

''Huh!" Did anyone tell him that Heidie can't win against me. So now he wants to be my friend so that I can help him in shooing that hoe?

''I wanna be with you so that I can know the difference between us." He said polietly but I can sense the little seriousness in it.

"Difference?" He is making me so fucking confused.

"Yes difference. I wanna know why she liked you. I have to gain her attention." I can see the determination in his eyes. But gain her attention?

"Why do wanna do that? Wasn't she the one running around you?"

"How I wished her to do so. But she isn't the one who is courting her. I am."

"Why are you doing such shitty thing? I would rather die than having her attention."

"Bro..I need her. So I have to gain her attention."

"Need for?"

"Sorry bro. Can't tell."

"Okay then. But since you called me your bro, Let me warn you. Beware of her." This time I was as serious as him.

"I guess I don't need it. But thanks for that."

"Believe me. You need it the most. At least right now"

"Strange but I already found our difference. You had her but you didn't need her or want her. And I need her but I can't. You had her and lost her. Yet you don't realize what you let go. While I need her, I know how important she can be. But she refuses to be with me." He was smiling but his eyes were telling another story. Don't tell me he fall for her.

"So?" I am not here to listen your lecture 'bro'. My girlfriend is laying in the infirmary. Don't waste my time, you shitty brain people.

"Nothing..Just thinking how lucky and idiotic you are. Anyway i changed my mind. I don't wanna be your friend anymore. So bye." He said before walking away.

What a bitch! He can be professor in the future. Lecturing here and there. And what did he say? Lucky? Who will feel lucky to be chased out by a fake, clumsy and two faced girl. Idiotic? He is a idiot himself. Making a fool of himself. I did a great job by getting away her from me. Away from us.

[ Flashback; two years ago ]

''Hey Adryan."

''Yes Heidie? Can i help you?''

"Nothing Just wanted to ask you if you are tired?"

"Thanks for your concern but I am okay."

"Are you sure cause I thought you are tired."

"No I am not. Why did you ask?"

''Cause you are running around my mind all day so I Thought you are tired.'' She replied with a sheepish smile.

"It's just your wild imagination. I am fine." I said politely.

"Okay then. Take care.'' she said before walking away.

What a cheesy line. 'Tired cause I run around her mind all day'. What a flirt. I could still consider it if she used any kind of feelings on it. But guess what? She is brainless also. I thought she is just shameless but she proved me wrong again. It's just another pick up line from online. But look how she acted. As if what she was saying is true. As if it was her our words. Her own thoughts. But I don't care about it anyway. She is just a troublesome girl with no brain. I will be polite with her as long as she does not cross the line. But too be honest she makes me way too uncomfortable.

[ Present; Adryan POV]

She is as two faced as she was always. There is no luck in having her around you. Such a fake and cheap person does not deserve to stay beside anyone. She is manipulating. Why can't anyone see it? Truly any one can be fooled by her. By her fake acts anyone can think a snake as innocent bird. Idiot? They think I am idiotic? They are the real fool. Fooled by her. Thinking about her, I have to admit that I hate her the core.
