Sugar and Spice

"Oh noooo you know how vexed I feel when I see the dogs."

Reeva had a horrible experience with their neighbour's dog. When she was going for school the dog pounced on her and a horrible site of teeth and his hairy face terrified her .

"Okay baby chill pill we will see a solution.

And anyways Dixcy is yet to come."

" Okay."

" Let's watch a movie till then or a good show."

They watched TV for good hours until they felt hungry and they put down the remote.

"Ahh man hungry .Should we order a takeout meal or should we go out to eat?"

" I am fine with anything ." Reeva shrugged and went into the kitchen to look for snacks.

" Ahh okay I think it's best to go out that way so you would know a few more places."

"Uh hmm" Reeva responded as she was munching on a mini kachori.

"Okay let's go then I' ll get changed."

Reeva just changed into her jeans and grabbed her jacket.Ritika too had done the same. Ritika grabbed her scooter keys and house keys. When Ritika was locking the door they heard the door opening sound to the flat opposite them .Reeva turned to a source of noise only to see Rocky peeking his head out.

"Where are you guys going ?"

"None of your business ."

" Ahhh common, tell me .Wait you going to eat out right? "

" Man, today I can't give you a free meal, man."

" What if I say it's my treat today?"

" As if I believe you."

" Well I had earned some money from a photoshoot."

" Okay . So I am not taking my wallet ."

" Yaaah ."

" Okay hurry up ."

" Yes."

10 minutes later : " Hey, how much time will he take now." Reeva whispered to Ritika.

" Mmm .. maybe he is finding his clothes .He is very messy guy .""

"Okay."

20 minutes later:"Has he still not found his clothes?"

"Maybe he has already found and is getting ready?"

"Maybe."

.30 minutes later: " Damn you Rocky are you sleeping in there?

After some ten minutes, Rocky finally came out of his room .

He had the same hairstyle and same state of his face. The only different thing was his jeans and jacket.

Reeva and Ritika: (-_-)

"You took the whole thirty minutes only to change into jeans and to get yourself a jacket."

" Ahhh nooo I had found my clothes but I realised they are not clean and finally after some time I found Surya's jeans and jacket."

" You are impossible "

" Okay now let's go."

Reeva tagged behind them but in the elevator she was being squished.

Rocky noticed this and laughed.

"Hey lil rabbit, come forward or you will turn flat ."

" No, I am fine."

But still Rocky pulled her forward.

Reeva and Ritika went on scooty while Rocky had his bike.

After some ten minutes Reeva sensed scooty stopping making her lift her head.

She got down the scooty in daze looking at the big multicolored lit shimmering letters 'SUGAR & SPICE '.

Reeva looked at the warm lit restaurant in daze. From outside anyone could tell how harmonious the atmosphere would be there inside.Warm lights emitted a serene vibe giving one soothing feel.

Sky was already getting dark and one could see the tinge of orange indicating the departure of the sun making the view worth capturing.

Click! click!

Reeva saw Rocky capturing the picture. When she saw Rocky capturing the view she could see his side profile looking all serious which surprised her. His playful expressions were replaced by passion and his teasing eyes were sparkling with passion.

" Do I look so handsome while clicking photo that you are gawking at me."

" Who said you're handsome and I was just watching how you are clicking photos."

Soon Ritika returned after parking her scooty and three of them entered the restaurant. As within her expectations, the ambience of the restaurant was warm and lively. Interior was beautiful and colored lights were giving a little wild vibe to it. Beautiful melody was playing and customers could be seen swinging in it .

They luckily got a table at the corner near the window. Ritika ordered warm water for them. Reeva sipped water while looking outside the window.Rocky went out to make a call. Ritika and Reeva clicked the photos meanwhile.

They ordered soup and cheese balls for starters.It didn't take long before their order arrived .Sweet savoury taste of warm soup not only excited her taste buds but also warmed her stomach.

Cheese balls were crispy and cheese was bursting out from them. But soon this nive moment was replaced by irritation.

Ritika and Rocky were practically going to tear the menu card apart.

"Last time we ordered pav bhaji today we will go for pizza."

"No, we will order pav bhaji common, let lil rabbit try Mumbai's pav bhaji [1]."

" No Reeva wanted to try some Italian stuff here."

Finally Reeva snatched the menu card.

" I'll order since you guys want to go according to my choice."

"Okay lil rabbit order Pav bhaji."

" Okay Reeva ordered Pizza. Humph "

Finally Reeva ordered pav bhaji ,Pizza ,pasta and sizzler.

First pizza arrived but to Reeva's horror both of them again started fighting for the last pizza slice.

"Hey you wanted to eat pav bhaji naa so why are you fighting for it ."

" What's wrong with you giving it to me ? Anyways you know I am the one paying today."

" Heh, as if I need you to pay."

Amidst their flight Reeva took the last piece and ate as she really liked the chewy cheesy taste.

Rocky started babbling again the same thing about his trip but pav bhaji came to their rescue at the right time to shut his mouth.

Soon their last dish of the main course arrived.

Reeva was all smiles when the creamy pasta melted in her mouth.

She clicked photos of all the dishes and sent them to her girl chat group and to her parents.

And soon her phone was flooded with messages.

[ Daddy: Ahhh that looks delicious, it seems Ritika is really pampering you eh.]

[Mother India: Don't eat fast food .]

Reeva laughed at her parents' reaction.

After finishing the food Ritika excused herself for the washroom.

Soon Rocky too went out god knows for what.

Reeva didn't ask much as she didn't want to spend time with him anyways.
