Chapter V

The full moon was shining in the sky, accompanied by the elegant stars, the night was beautiful, as it always used to be. My family was with me, with their ceremonial costumes, like every full moon, all positioned around me and, in the middle, the purifying fire blazed with force. But in the blink of an eye, the warm and harmonious scene I was contemplating had turned into a nightmare, there was blood spilled all over the place, my family was lying on the ground, covered in their own blood and wounded by sharp razors. I fell on my legs and my whole body began to shake uncontrollably, my breathing was agitated and my heart was beating so hard that I could hear it rumbling through every part of my being. An intense buzzing echoed in my ears, causing despair to wash over me.
