Chapter 12

Jasmine slowly stood up with a small smile on her face as she crossed her arms, "Oh, well, how was the mission?" She asked in an amused tone, pretending like she didn't hear what he had said before. Tommy raised an eyebrow as a playful smirk was displayed on his lips. "Alright then, practice is over, come with me, love," he said sticking his hand out as Jasmine glared at it while biting her lip. Scar and Mack stood back watching in amusement, "Fine, but I'm only going because I don't want to work out anymore with unisex Mackenzie," she said taking his hand as Scar snickered, while Mack rolled his eyes, "Funny, Jasmine," he said sarcastically as Jasmine winked at him, "Alright, you two, we're off, keep me updated on anything that happens, Scar," he said before pointing at Scar, who nodded, "You got it boss, but we have to talk tonight, it's important," she said as Tommy nodded with a serious face before glancing at Jasmine, who stared at Scar, "Are you ready?" He asked as Jasmine cleared her throat, "Yeah, I'm ready," she replied looking back at him as he smiled before escorting her out of the training room.

On their way out, they passed Gray, who was strolling down the stairs while whistling. The moment he laid eyes on Jasmine, he smiled widely as he reached the bottom. "Hey, Jasy, it's good to see you, kiddo," he said petting her head in a friendly way as Jasmine smiled, "Hey, Gray and Jasy, I like it," she said as Gray chuckled before turning towards Tommy, who stared at Jasmine, with so many unknown feelings in his eyes. "Where is y'all heading off to?" He asked snapping Tommy out of his trace, "I'm taking Jas out, we'll be back later," he replied as Gray smirked, "Ok, well, I'm looking for Scar, I want to know how was babysitting like," she said as Jasmine slightly furrowed, "It was interesting," Jasmine replied as Tommy caught the change of tone in her voice, "Really? Well, I can't wait to hear how interesting it was," he said as Jasmine stared at him with emotionless eyes, taking him back on that sudden stare, "I bet you can't," she said before walking away leaving both Tommy and Gray speechless.

"Damn, her mood swings are deadly," Gray exclaimed as Tommy continued to stare in the direction where Jasmine take off, "Something happened while I was gone and I'm going to find out what, tell Scar to meet me in my office once I return," he said before walking away.

Tommy jogged towards the car, where Jasmine was waiting for him. As he got closer, he realized that Jasmine sat emotionless in the car with her arms crossed causing him to sigh. He entered the car but Jasmine didn't budge as he did so, "Are you ready?" He asked as she hummed before turning towards him, "Where are we going?" She asked as he shrugged, "For a walk," he replied as she furrowed her eyebrows, "For a walk?" She asked as he nodded before starting the car, "Then why are we using the car?" She asked, "Because we can't walk to the place where I want to walk," he said as Jasmine furrowed deeper before scoffing, "God, you're so confusing," she said as Tommy chuckled before driving off.

Tommy and Jasmine walked beside each other as they strolled through the peaceful park 3 hours away from Tommy's mansion. The park was absolutely beautiful with all the different colored and shaped florist. Jasmine was surprised that this park wasn't as popular considering the beauty and relaxation it provided. "How did you find this place?" She asked as he shrugged, "I didn't, my mother used to bring me here when she wanted to get me away from my father," he replied as Jasmine glanced at him, "Why?" She asked as Tommy sighed, "Because he was a control freak, he controlled my life and took away my childhood," he said as he held his head high while Jasmine studied his side profile, "My mother never wanted this kind of life for her son, when she was around I had an excuse to ran away from this, but now that she's gone, I had no choice," he said as he lets out a shaky breath before turning towards her.

"Jasmine, this is not a pretty life, there are things that this type of life does to you both mentally and physically and what I went through to get here I would never let you go through that. So please understand what I'm preparing you for, you'll be 19 in a few days and after that, you'll be training with me. You'll be learning how to shoot, how to hack, how to lead a mission team, how to seduce, how to kill, and torture. I'll make you the most powerful female mafia, but everyone comes with a cost, Jasmine," he explained as Jasmine listened attentively, "And what's the cost of this?" She asked staring into Tommy's eyes, "I'll tell you when I know you're ready to hear it," he said as they continued to walk.

Silence built up between the two as they continued walking. Jasmine was deep in thought about what Tommy had said until the event of last time flash through her mind. "Tommy, who's Isabelle?" She innocently asked stopping Tommy in his tracks, "Where did you hear that name?" He asked turning towards with a serious look as Jasmine shrugged, "Scar told me," she simply replied as Tommy's jaw clenched in anger, "What do you mean, Scar told you, that wasn't her business to tell," he said as Jasmine folded her arms, "Well, I made her tell me," she said as Tommy invaded her personal space, "You're not telling me something Jasmine, what exactly happened while I was away," he asked as his voice deepens sending chills down her spine.

"Well maybe, you should ask Scar, I bet she'll be happy to tell you."
