11: Taylor

"Could you help me move these boxes sweetheart?" my aunt asks as she struggles getting the boxes out of the attic. A frown covers her beautiful face, her eyebrows knitting together. I grab a box from her hands and grunt at the weight of it.

"What the hell is in these boxes Aunt Doris?" I question as a bead of sweat rolls down from my hair line.

"I don't actually know sweetheart. I haven't been up here in years so there could be anything" she says as she makes her way to the far end of the attic.

"Whatever it is, it's bloody heavy" I say while putting the box down, my arms protesting with the weight.

She comes back with some other boxes and I sit them down, lifting the flaps and coughing as a gust of dust flies up into the air. I wave my hand in front of my face to get rid of some of the dust particles and look into the box I just opened. I squint and reach in feeling leather touch my finger tips, I grip the smooth but worn surface and frown at what looks to be an old photo album. Opening the cover, I gasp as I recognise the people in these photos.

"What is it deary?" Aunt Doris questions while sitting another box down beside us.

"It appears to be an old photo album" I say in return to her question. She neals down beside me and smiles.

"I thought these to be long gone" she takes the book out of my hands and runs them along the fine but worn pages. "This my dear is our family tree. Generations upon generations reside in this book. Some good and others not so much". Frowning, I reach into the box and retrieve another book, opening the cover which was no different from the last.

I look at the photos and knit my eyebrows together "Aunt Doris? Can you tell me who these people are?" she looks away from the album she's holding and glances at the photos, a quiet sigh leaving her lips.

"Those are very bad people Taylor. Those people right there go back hundreds of centuries. They were the first founders of this town. But rumour has it that there the first wolves this town has ever seen. Some of them even known to be hybrids" I look at her warily as she continues, "they originated from Italy, and came to Oakenhaven to reproduce and make a name for themselves, even though they had quite a name already. Those people there" she said pointing to four people, an older man with greying hair and a bulky build, dressed in a fine suit with the buttons undone, hair pulled back into a little ponytail at the back of his head. A cane in one hand and the other wrapped around a beautiful woman looking to be in her late 30's to early 40's. Dressed in an extravagant gown probably made of silk and the finest jewellery hanging from her slim neck, her hair cascading down her back in beautiful curls. Her hands are wrapped around to males that seem to be in there late teenage years to there early 20's. Both very handsome and bulky like there father. One was slightly taller then the other but their facial features were almost the same. What set them apart from each other was there hair and eye colour. One had black hair with wondrous blue eyes and the other with blond silky locks and dark brown eyes, eyes that showed malous and horrors that be bestowed upon people from just looking at him.

They were all pale in skin tone, one more then the other, except for the blue eyed Greek god. His skin tone was slightly tanned but still pale, a lot less then the other three. He drew me in like a moth to a flame, but what was really strange was that they all looked familiar some how.

"They are the King and Queen of Italy. And those two there are their Heirs. Aonis and Trinitus. Aonis being second born and Trinitus the rightful ruler if the king ever passes. The King and Queen, Salivere and Verona Lombardi, were known to be vicious rulers. There son, Trinitus, a more vicious ruler then his father. Its said that he's killed more people then anyone can count, and they all died painful and gruesome deaths. Some in ways that you couldnt even imagine" I shudder at her words and wipe sweat from my eyebrow and upper lip. I knew what Aunt Doris was saying was true cause I'd seen it all in my dreams. They couldn't even be called dreams, they were more like nightmares that haunted me everytime I closed my eyes.
