“You know you could have simply asked instead of dumping me in this car” I frowned, not that they could see me cause, there I was seated in a car with a ski mask on and my hands tied for some reason.

“Could you at least take this damn blindfold off me. Dumbasses” I said.

I wonder who came up with this useless idea.

“It was Harlan’s idea, just in case you’re wondering” Chris spoke as he took off the mask off my face, answering my question.

“Where are you taking me ugh, I ‘ve got work to do” I complained.

“Chill woman. You’re too damn impatient” Jaxx snapped.

Ooh, someone’s moody

“Hey, what’s your problem” I hollered at Jaxx.

“You”

I scoffed.

It’s actually not bad, having someone to bicker with but not that would actually tell him.

“You know, you too are going to get along pretty well” Chris piped in and I frowned.

“I hate egoistical fools”

“But you’re one” He countered.

But before I could speak up, Matt cut us off as he immediately jumped out of the car, following the remaining, leaving me alone in the car with my hands taped together.

“We are here!”

“Dimwits! They couldn’t even open the door for me” I said to myself whilst struggling to open the door with my teeth, which was going fine till Matt decided it was the right time to open the door, causing me to fall face flat.

“Argh!” I said, spitting out the sand and leaves in my mouth.

Not missing the faint smile on his lips, I glared at him.

“Could you stop smiling. Do I look like a clown?”

“Worse” he said with the ghost of a smile.

He eventually picked me up and removed the tape off my hands while I muttered swear words to myself.

“Smile. You look prettier” He said before leaving me to my flushed self.

I smacked my cheeks, dusted my pants before I finally took the liberty to look up to where we were and my, was I marveled.

Right in front of me sat an amazing Mediterranean-blue Waterfall. The waters swished over the rocks joyfully, rumbling down into the pool like an enormous torrent. The water foamed as it plunged down into the pool. The pool was as clear as cellophane, enabling us to see down into the rocky bottom. The forest-green plants moved gently in the depths. I could see a bevy of geese around the bank making the scene picture perfect.

“You like it?” Someone said from behind me which made me jump. I turned around to see Matt, hand in pocket, taking in the view as well.

I cleared my throat “No its bland. Not exciting. I still don’t know what you gained by bringing me here” I tried to sound unimpressed but I knew he could see right through me.

“This is kind of our favorite place to let lose you know, so be happy” He smiled.

“Still don’t know why you brought stupid here” Jaxx muttered but loud enough for the rest of us to hear.

“This guy ugh-” Matt stopped me and I surprisingly complied and resumed taking in the scenery.

He spoke after a while “We are not giving up on you though”

“Shut u- “I began to say when I heard the twins calling for me.

“Wren!! Wren!!”

“Shut up! You know where I am. Stop shouting”

“Whatever. Come join us in the pool” Henry screamed back, earning an eyeroll from me.

“No” I stated.

“Come on” Chris cajoled.

I shook my head “No”

Before anyone could say anything, startling everyone. I was especially surprised cause no one ever called me but as I looked at the caller profile, I immediately frowned.

‘Mother’

Why was she calling me? What does she want from me again? I thought to myself as I stared face blank at my phone. I immediately cut it off, acting like it was nothing. But of course, it didn’t go unnoticed by the five dimwits who just stared back at me like I was a crime scene to be investigated.

“What? Is there something on my head?” I asked and a serious of “no’s” went out and they continued with what they were doing.

So, I took off the jacket I was wearing and set my phone on it to move around freely.

I knew I made a big mistake by going to the edge of the fall because, before I knew it, I was thrown down by two large hands.

“AH!” I screamed before my body entered the gravely cold pool. Normally, I would have swarm up the water, but an instant idea came to mind, to trick them to thinking I couldn’t swim.

Considering I did a lot of breathing exercise when I was young, staying under water was a piece of cake for me. I moved my hands in the water, maintaining my balance as I heard a whole lot of muffled screams and shouts from above.

Not long after, A certain hand gripped me, leading me to the top where I exhaled. I turned around to look at the terrified faces of the guys then I burst into laughter while they just stared at me in utter confusion.

“You weren’t drowning?” Jaxx asked from behind me as he let his hands go from my waist.

“Nice to know you care” I smirked as he hissed.

“Should have let you drown” he said as he swam to the bank of the pool.

Henry and Chris immediately pranced on me, shouting of how worried I made them while I zoned out to look at Matteo at the top of the fall, wondering why he wasn’t in the pool with the others.

“Yo Stupid, you got a call while you were in the poo-”

“I don’t care” I cut Jaxx off.

“At least let me finish talking”

“I don’t like your voice” I countered and he walked away. But before I could say another word, my phone rang and I instantly knew who it was so I cut the call then picked up my jacket to wrap around my now wet and exposed outfit.

“You’re not going to take that? Chris said.

“No”

“But it’s your moth-”

“I said I don’t care. Stay out of my business” I said, cutting Henry off as I stormed back to the car, leaving the boys in shock by my tone.

“You guys coming or what? I want to go home” I groaned as I quivered and shivered in my clothes.

What a stupid trick.
