It was the weekend and I couldn’t be happier. Mrs. A gave me the weekend off which meant I had time for myself.

I actually had something to do which was to plan for Abby’s birthday which was the next day. Ever since she was born, we never celebrated it and as much as I wanted to, I couldn’t. I believe she deserves one this year and I don’t mind spending as much as I can.

I tie my hair into a messy bun, wear my shoes and head out to go start my preparations. First on my list was the cake. So, I had to get to the nearest cake shop to order the best cake ever. I would’ve made it, but I’m a terrible baker.

I arrived at the cake shop and entered it and I was immediately greeted by the fresh smell of pastries which made my stomach growl.

The place was a bit busy so I settled down on a chair as I waited for the line to reduce a bit while I went through my order.
