Ever since I quit school, I started gaining time with Abby and the pay at Edwards international had been really good.

I hardly ever saw the guys at work and I was grateful for that because ever since that day, Charles had been super hard on me, not that I minded. But anytime I saw them, I made sure it was during lunch hours.

Charles gave me some papers to sort and go through which was taking forever to do despite the fact that I still had other things doing.

The telephone on my desk rung which automatically meant it was Charles so I brought it to my ear and said “Renee speaking”

“Uhm Renee, it seems you’re being requested for at the top floor. But make it quick, I still have work for you” and with that, he ended the call so I dropped the phone.

Top floor? That could only mean it’s one of the guys because I’ve never been called up there. At least not during work.
