How the Weak fight The Strong

His vision once again turned dark but this time he felt that instead of feeling lighter and lighter, he felt like he had delved into a deep sleep.

He opened his eyes and was marveled at the sight before him. In a kind of Japanese ancient town with all the iconic buildings. He could see that was one a bit farther from the center of Japan because the buildings, streets and even the clothes that the people walking by used were all a bit different from what you would expect from let's say Tokyo in the 60s.

In his previously life Alex hadn't visited Japan but from his vast experience in reading manga and watching anime, he had a very clean image about Japan.

He also noticed that nobody looked in his direction. One would think that a boy floating in the sky would attract all kinds of people ranging from ordinary folks, mischievous children and for sure temple old ladies with all the bells and charms to eradicate the floating ghost.

Alex found it odd so he decided to descend to see if people didn't really see him. But first he had to know how to float downwards, it's not like he does this every week.

The moment he though of going downwards he began to descend till he reached the middle of the street. He looked around and it seems that he was really invisible to people.

Curiosity filled his head as he approached a woman with her husband. Feeling a bit bashful about his next action but emboldened by his invisible status, he tried to poke her in the boob. Don't get him wrong, Alex knew that this type of actions was condoned by society.

His finger began to approach the breast of the woman. Right when his finger was about to touch it, Alex closed his eyes hoping for a fantastic feeling.

But, he felt nothing. He gazed at where his finger was supposed to be and he was surprised to see that his finger was going through the woman's breasts like he was nothing. At some point he stopped floating and the woman completely passed through him, continuing talking and laughing with her husband.

Alex looked at his hands and a feeling of disappointment emerged, "It seems that like the 'Beware that the User will not be able to interact with the Dimension in itself' was definitive."

Alex sighed as he floated upwards returning to his previous spot, 'Oh well. That wasn't really my point so I shouldn't waste my time in pointless things.'

Alex firmed his mind and looked to a dojo in the center of the town. He began to float in direction of it. The dojo was similar to the normal dojos with the difference of looking a bit unused.

He passed through the walls and saw that in the mail hall of the dojo there were two men sitting down. One of them was an old man with a sickly look and a monk hair style. Even though he looked sickly, Alex could see with clarity the vibrant will to live from the eyes of the man.

The other was a much younger man between 20 to 30 years old that had military cut. The moment his gaze fell on this man one name immediately appeared on his mind, 'Goki Shibukawa!'

That's right, Goki Shibukawa from the Baki series. The man that even though was older, smaller and weaker than all the other badass characters he still was one of the strongest ones. Why? He had achieve high mastery in Shibukawa-ryu Jujutsu or for the more simple people, Aikido.

In Baki, this man would easily launch a man 5 times is weight like he was nothing but a leaf. He was the epitome of Aikido in the Baki series, the epitome of the weak fighting the strong and win!

Alex looked with respect at Shibukawa.

When Alex was analyzing all the options, he began to choose some of the more overpowered martial arts. But he quickly came to a conclusion about all of those. They either needed a body with a good talent or a large amount of time to perfect them just enought to used them.

Alex didnt have neither of those at the moment. Right now, he need some kind of martial art that provided him with the best results in the smallest time possible. To ensure his survival in Meteor City, he immediately crossed all the martial arts that took too long to practice.

Then after some consideration he crossed those that need a large amount of combat experience to have some kind of degree in mastery and that left him with Aikido. Although he knew that Aikido also needed fighting experience, he had confidence in applying it with the minimal training. Shibukawa-ryu Jujutsu is an ancient form of Aikido in which its main principle or tactic is blending with an attacker's movements for the purpose of controlling their actions with minimal effort.

It fitted all his requirements.

First he could learn it as a self-defense martial arts and as a way to further incapacitate his opponents giving him time to finish them with his Nen. He knew that even though this martial art was one focused more on self-defense and not one more focused on the offensive, he would have more than enough time to worry about that after already having self-defense measures to cope with all kinds of situations.

He began to focus on all the events that were relate to Shibukawa. Alex saw how Shibukawa's Master teached him all the forms and philosophies related to Shibukawa-ryu Jujutsu. Alex was so focused that he didn't even noticed time passing by.

Seconds.

Minutes.

Hours.

Days.

Years.

.........................................

Back in the room beneath the crumbling silo, Alex opened his eyes. He let all the air that was inside of his lungs. He got up and patted the dust on his pants.

'Even though years when by in the Baki Dimension, only a few seconds passed here. Interesting... Now I don't have to worry about spending too much time there.'

He tried to activate once again [Dimensional Enlightenment] but he felt like something was preventing him from using it. He began to focus on his Nen and after a while he got his answer, 'It seems that I will only be able to use it again in about 2 weeks.'

He didn't know why the cooldown was 2 weeks. He had a theory that it was either because of the difficulty that this type of martial arts posed to him or the time period and its relevance to the Baki Dimension.

He took a deep breath putting all that aside. He closed his eyes and began to remember all the things he knew about Shibukawa-ryu Jujutsu.

Inside of his mind, he pictured himself facing a mirrored image of Shibukawa. Shibukawa began to move and like the perfect reflex, Alex moved exactly like him.

Step by step they came closer. Alex relaxed himself committing himself completely to the motto of being in harmony with the environment and himself.

His arms moved in tune, crossing, moving up and down. Little by little Shibukawa began to move, stopping being in front of him and instead merging with his own image.

Step when needed, push when you have to, step forward when the other steps backwards, feel the weakness so that you can turn it into strength...

Alex slowly began to integrate himself with every memory that he had of the years that he saw Shibukawa practicing and fighting, improving constantly.

Suddenly out of nowhere, he felt a glaring pain in his whole body. He instantly exited his trance and fell on the ground. He was completely sapped of energy and even his Nen was running a bit lower than when he started. He smirked vent though the pain was immense, "It... seems... that Shibukawa wasn't kidding when saying to his Master how the hell did the old man managed to practice hour in a row!"

Alex was thrilled. He finally had something to protect himself other than his Nen. He laid down on the ground and began to think about the future, 'I finally can begin the plan that I arrange for getting out of here. Of this damned Meteor City!'
