I was glad that Jacob came, but what would happen now? I don't think his father will forgive him. My thoughts were interrupted by Jacob waving his hand in my face.


L -"Yeah i can see, just don't wave your hand in my face like that please"


L -"It's fine, but let's just figure this whole situation out first"


J -"But what about you? You're still really pale"


J -"Okay, just tell me if it gets worse"


L -"So what do we do after this, do you think they'll come after us?"


J -"i don't know, i mean they could just find our dorms on campus"


J -"We'll figure this out tomorrow, let's just get some rest now"


He gave me a small peck on the forehead and laid down next to me, wrapping his arms around my waist.


I woke up the next morning feeling much better, but still sick. I looked over to the side to see that Jacob wasn't there, did he leave? I got up slowly and looked around for him. Jacob was nowhere to be seen, so i yelled out to him.


I kept yelling, but got nothing in return.


I started to panic as there was still no response, what happened to him? I sat there and waited for a bit on the side of the road, trying to think of where he could have gone. I was lost in my thoughts, when i felt hand hand touch my shoulder. I jumped up in shock due to how much i was already panicking.


I looked up only to realize that it was Jacob who put his hand on my shoulder, where had he been this whole time?!


L -"Where were you?! I yelled your name but you didn't respond, so i started to worry!"


J -"I went to pee in the woods and i couldn't hear you, i'm sorry"


L -"You don't have to be sorry, i just got really worried"


I leaned my head on my hands and slumped over.


L -"You must've woken up pretty early then"


J -"Yeah, we should get going though. We can't go back to my family's house so we have to drive all the way back to our campus"


L -"We don't have any food either, will you be fine for the two hours?"
