Shocking them Silly!

In a small clearing next to the training grounds of Kumogakure, an 8 year old looking boy can be huffing and puffing after a hard training session. All around him are charred burn marks and destroyed trees. One will think that some kind of major battle took place here if they saw the wanton destruction caused in the area.

This boy is of course Rai who recently turned 5 years old. The genes he inherited from his grandfather and father are working a charm and he looks like he is already 8. Or maybe this is the work of the Tyrannical Emperor's Profound Veins after all Yuanba was said to be a giant in the novel. Rai has pale blonde hair and deep purple eyes and he can be considered quite handsome in the looks department.

Rai has been working his ass off for the past 16 or so months and he has had considerable success in his training. He looks at his Status sheet.

Rai's Lightning Gauntlet and Lightning Cloak techniques both improved to the next rank and his Lighting and Chakra manipulation skills also have taken a step forward. His chakra control is what has seen the most amount of improvement and his cultivation is also now sitting pretty at 4th Stage Sky Profound Realm.

Rai wanted to try and fly now that he is at the Sky Profound Realm but without any idea on how the Profound Floating Technique works, he could only give up reluctantly.

The past year has also been quite eventful with multiple huge events taking place.

A Kage Summit took place a little after the war which ended up with ceaseless bickering between the Tsuchikage and Raikage. The Mizukage did not turn up apparently. Minato had been made the Hokage already. It was decided to demilitarize the size of the forces now in times of peace. Of course, father secretly ignored this and made sure to maintain the forces so that they have an edge when hostilities resume. And he is certain that they would. This also meant that the Tsuchikage does the same.

The nine-tails incident took place in Konoha a couple of weeks ago. And so the plot begins.

'I received a nice 5 year head start if I say so myself. And I think I've gotten reasonably strong enough during this time. I can match an Elite Jonin in terms of Chakra Quantity and with my presence Concealment and lightning Armor, I can quite possibly assassinate most people. But, of course, I will definitely end up dying if I fail the ambush. The drawback of not having battle experience is glaring. Having Observation Haki definitely helps but I haven't been able to train it efficiently as of yet.'

The Civil War in Kiri should also be beginning soon. Obito has certainly started to get busy.

Rai's Physical stats has seen a meteoric rise during this time. He is now getting more Stat Points for completing daily quests but the daily quest itself has become monotonous and unhelpful. Alice has made it perfectly clear that Daily Quests will stop altogether after his body attributes reach a certain threshold. Rai has also wondered if he should possibly fail the quest now. The new penalty is now the same as what Jin-Woo had to face where he would be transported to a different realm and have to survive for 4 hours. At least this way he could make some SP but it would be something he would do after he has raked up a bit of battle experience. His Stats are also increasing naturally as a result of physical exercises.

Rai has been summoning Yoru out every once in a while. She seems ecstatic to get out of her realm. But after the initial ecstasy she was back to lounging around being lazy. That's one OP lazy cat I tell you.

On his cultivation front, his cultivation speed has dropped by a huge margin. After the initial boost that he received from awakening the Tyrant Veins, it is now back to regular cultivation speed. Since, there are no natural resources or the like over here, he can only do it the old school way with long periods of time in boring seclusion. Of course, he hasn't gotten desperate enough to be at that state yet. But, he can see the writings on the wall that eventually it would end up like this.

Maybe if he can find the locations of the Three Big Unexplored Sage Regions which are Mount Myōboku, Ryūchi cave and Shikkotsu forest, there could be an increase in speed since these areas are well known to be filled with natural energy.

He has also met a few more of the canon characters that he is familiar with from canon.

Mabui, a dark skinned beauty who is father's assistant because of her unique skill 'Heavenly Transfer Technique' with which she is able to transport objects anywhere at the speed of light.

He also met Samui, she also has become one of Grandpa's students along with Darui and C. Another absolute stunner of a woman. She is the mature, calm and silent type. She gives off this cool beauty kind of vibe. Rai mostly always spectates their training from the side. He usually does this in order to pester his grandpa to start training him already.

Today is just another such day where Rai is looking at them with a bored and unimpressed look.

"It is really hard to keep the lightning aura on during battle, just one second where I can't seamlessly control the chakra and it's gone. This is so frustrating." – C

"It's only natural that we're not able to do it yet. We've hardly been doing this for a couple of years. We're not a genius like Darui after all." – Samui

"It's alright young ones. You will get it eventually. I took over 10 years to perfect this technique and it took even longer to be called the strongest defense and sharpest spear as it is now. No need to rush. You are all bound to surpass me, the young will always surpass the old. This is something i wholeheartedly believe." – Grandpa

"We'll do our best, Lord Third." – All of them in chorus.

"What's so hard about this technique? Isn't it quite simple really?" – Rai

All of them turned to the side with a scowl on their face and seeing the nonchalant look on Rai's face. Annoyance can clearly be felt from them.

"Hoo. Then why don't you show me what you can do little Rai?" – C

His father had also just walked into the training field at that time only to end up shocked and having to forcibly close his jaw before anyone else sees him that way.

"Sure." – Rai

Before anyone else can get another word in. Rai quickly turns on his Lightning Cloak technique.

"It's something like this right?" – Rai asks with a smug look.

Needless to say everyone there was shocked silly seeing that a 5 year old is pulling off the technique that they were working so hard to achieve.
