Mission Reveal Kakashi's True Face

(y/n) was bored for once. Neji was out of town for a jonin mission and won't be back for a couple of days. Leaving (y/n) with nothing but time on her names. When Kakashi's team invited her out to ramen she thought why not. (y/n) had been sitting down about to eat the ramen that had just been served in front of her. When she noticed nobody was eating food. It didn't take her long to figure out what was going on. Seems like they are trying to see what's behind Uncle Kakashi's mask she thought. Trying to figure out what side she should take. On one hand, she could help them and get the best of Kakashi. Or she could just sit back and watch things play out either way it would be interesting. While (y/n) was trying to figure out what to do. Team seven was still waiting for their ramen from being served.

"Well, this is out of the ordinary. You all treated me to ramen", Kakashi exclaimed as he was served a bowl of ramen. "I won't be shocked if you had a prank ready for me. Or if it isn't that you guys are up to something aren't you"

"Kakashi-sensei think nothing of it. We just like treating you to lunch along with (y/n). Now p-lease eat, eat we insist", Sakura said rather nervously.

"If you say so. I suppose I should just dig in since you all are paying for once", Kakashi exclaimed. He took out the chopsticks broke them and was about to eat.

"Oh! Sasuke... What a coincidence that you are here", Ino cried as she and her team blocked team seven's view of both (y/n) and Kakashi eating. By the time they got them out of the way, both were done eating. After eating a few more bowls and Kakashi left (y/n) stayed back.

"I see that your attempt to see what is behind uncle Kakashi's mask failed", she said with a smirk. Team seven was shocked that she noticed. "Now before any of you suggest tailing him. I suggest no he is too smart for that"

"Oh and you have a better idea on revealing Kakashi mask", Sasuke asked?

"As a matter of fact, I do. Do you remember the ninja registration form picture you were forced to take as a genin? ", (y/n) asked as Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura all nodded yes. When Sasuke seemed to get the idea. "A certain condition must be upheld"

"What condition", Naruto asked confused. Sasuke through got what she meant.

"She is right the registration form it is the regulation to show your entire face. Something so obvious yet none of us considered it as a possibility before now"

"Now I happen to be a member of the anbu so I am certain. I can sneak us inside"

"But why would you do that for us (y/n)", Sasuke asked?

"Because I would like to get the best of uncle Kakashi of course. Besides Neji is on a mission and I have nothing better to do", (y/n) exclaimed. As they all agreed to meet up that night.

*That Night*

They were on top of the Hokage office. "This will be an infiltration mission understood. It is hard enough to get in here even as a member of the anbu. And if anyone finds I am involved I will be punished severely. So I expect none of you to be lagging behind understood", (y/n) briefed Team Seven.

"Yes", Team seven responded in unison. (y/n) was able to pick the locks and opened the doors with the files. As they had to search each file. When Naruto called all of them over saying he found it. (y/n) body flicked to where he was just as Naruto was about to reveal it the anbu. Afterward, all of them were lectured by lord third. As they now stood outside of the office Kakashi there.

"Really (y/n) I never expected this from you of all people", Kakashi said.

"Hey I tried to stop them but they insisted on doing it", (y/n) said putting the blame on the genin. "They just wanted to see what was behind your mask uncle Kakashi"

"(y/n) you are anbu and a jonin. Honestly, who cares what is beneath this mask anyway?'

After Kakashi left. Team seven wasn't happy about being blamed. "You really have some nerve blaming us", Naruto exclaimed.

"I thought it was pretty suspicious when you of all people wanted to join us. You are skilled, a joniun, and a member of the anbu. So you could have easily done it on your own"

"Sorry, but I can make it up to you. In fact, I have an idea but this time we need more than just us", (y/n) said with a certain look in her eye. As she explained the plan to them. As they made preparations in order to do so. (y/n) acting as if she was knocked out and needed help. Hinata going to Kakashi for help. Kakashi tried to get her to the hospital. As the genin distracted Kakashi until he was caught by Shikamaru shadow justu. As (y/n) had jumped out of his arms. Making a clone taking a look to ensure there was no Sukea and no clones. Even asking Hinata to use her byakugan to double-check. As Shikamaru started pulled down his face. "Wait can't we talk this all over. Isn't it better for this to remain a mystery? (y/n) please help me", he begged.

"Sorry uncle Kakashi but not this time checkmate", she said. Before seeing that Neji was back and being chased by Lee. She had an idea what was going on as she quickly ran to defuse the situation even using a clone to grab both of them tackling them to the ground. As Shikamaru managed to hold his stance with Ino now up her justu ready. As Kakashi's face was now revealed after Shikamaru pulled down a few masks the real (y/n) ready if anything happened. While the clone (y/n) had Neji and Lee handled. A photographer (y/n) had paid snapped a picture as soon as all of Kakashi masks had been revealed. Showing his true face including the beauty mark. All of the girl's faces but (y/n) were bright red. Even some of the guy's faces were red.

"So that is what he looks like underneath the mask", they all said.

After Shikamaru finally being able to release the shadow justu. Kakashi pulled back his mask as he let out a sigh his own teamwork mission had been a failure. He thought for sure that the same plan would have worked just like a few years ago it had. Yet (y/n) ruined it all. But he had to admit he was proud of her for being able to guide the geniun. But now he needed a new way to help the team with teamwork since they all had now seen his face. At this point, I may have to bribe them with food to help them do work together with a challenge. Now that the mask challenge won't work he thought. (y/n) went to Neji her arms crossed.

"Care to tell me why I just saw you back. That you were with Tenten before me your loving girlfriend", she said with her arms crossed.

"I can explain"

"I bet you can", she said before pulling Neji away. Let's just say after that day Neji learned his lesson. Same for Kakashi for underestimating (y/n) in the end all ended well. The geniun finally got to see Kakashi's real face and (y/n) bested Kakashi.
