4 years later

"Hey, Aiden? You remember what happened 4 years ago?" The familiar girly voice of Ava reached Aiden's ear as he enjoyed the scenery of the sunset while sitting on the small hill with the girl. The once was a small boy, smiled as he remembered the incident in his old village.

"How could I forget? That was our last day at the village, now it was given to the neighbouring kingdom for the exchange of peace… I miss the old village…" He sighed and as he did so, the girl stood up and stood in front of him, blocking the sunset.

"I still have a crush on you after all these years, but it never grew anywhere…" There was a moment of silence between the two of them as they stared right into each other eyes. The boy, looking at her, sighed and got himself up from the ground. He got closer to the girl in a flirty manner and took her hand, but she shoved his hand away.

"Aiden… I'm sorry, even though I still have a crush for you, it seems that we can't be together. From tomorrow, my family will move out of the town. It seems that my father got himself some land near the city up north and wanted to move there," Aiden was shocked when he heard the news but he cooled himself down and with a smile at his face, he said.

"Don't worry, even if our physical bodies are far away from each other, our hearts will be together forever," She smiled as they both stood there awkwardly, staring at each other.

The next morning, the boy was standing at the road outskirt of the town he now lives in, in front of him, were Ava with her family, sitting on the simple carriage. They both looked at each other for a few seconds before the girl waved her hand as the carriage was being pulled away by the horse, "See you later Aiden! I will wait for you in the city of Criton!"

Aiden waved back at her with a smile on his face as the carriage slowly drifted away from him and his smile slowly disappeared from his face. He sighed once, 'Yesterday was so awkward and cliché… I didn't even get to kiss her'

He gave a light slap to his own cheeks and sighed once again, 'Gather yourself Aiden… It's not like you are in a relationship with her, why do you even expect a kiss from her?'

Agreeing to his own thought, he nodded as he took his steps.

Three months later

"Ah, such a beautiful day," He got himself up from his simple bed and made his way toward the small window, connecting his bedroom with the outside world. He felt a calm sense entering his body as he saw scenery of the towns he currently lives in, the town of Gostin.

'Have been 3 months since she left, I kinda missed her, it's not like I could make a trip to the city of Criton though…" He sighed and stared at the morning scenery for a few seconds before he heard the voice of his mom.

"Aiden! Dinner's ready! Come down here" Not a second later, he rushed downstairs as fast as he could and sat on the simple wooden chair on the table where his food was waiting for him.

"Thanks, mother, I will enjoy this meal!" In front of him was a plate of potato soup and a grilled salmon. He stared at the fish while his eyes were glowing like a star. One moment was him staring at the fish, and the next was when he burped loudly.

Burpppppppppppppp!

In front of him were the bones of the fishes and empty bowl and plate. His mother smiled as she looked on the empty plate, "Good that you enjoyed the food I made. Now… I'll be waiting for the firewood! Oh yea, can you give this to your father while you are on the way to the forest? Thanks, "

"… I hate the fact that there are plenty of salmons in the river and that it's used for all sort of useless things here," He muttered to himself as he gathered the firewood in the forest and threw it into the basket on his back.

When the basket on his back was full, he began making his way out of the forest and was returning to the town. But while on the road to the town, he saw something that caught his attention, just sitting on the wide grassland, as that thing was waiting for someone.

He slowly approached the position of it while carefully looking around and when he was sure nobody was around, he grabbed it, the bow and a quiver full of arrows.
