Chapter 1: The Worst First Day

Time: 3:48 a.m.

Location: Aiko Makoto's bedroom.

Objective: Get ready for school and meet best friend.

Aiko opened her eyes and looked out her window to see that it was still dark, then reached for her glasses. "Ugh.." Her voice, even in sleep, is so low she could pass as a guy if she wanted to. "What time is it...?" She tapped her alarm clock twice and it whispered, "Don't worry, boss. It's only 3:48 A.M." Aiko still got up, held out her hand for her flashlight, and started getting ready for her first day. "I can't believe Izuku helped me get into UA. This is AMAZING! Plus everyone at that stuck up prep school was soooo boringgg!!! Well, except for Junko and Jeshika. They were fun. Oh, and that foreign girl from France. I think her name was... Julia." She sat at her vanity, in front of her mirror, and one of her hands reached out for her comb. The comb ran through her silky midnight black hair like a knifu through butter. She started to braid her hair up into a nice bun, clipped it close with her favorite Princess Buzz hair pin, and got up and looked in her full body mirror. The official UA outfit that had arrived in the mail just three days earlier fit perfectly tight where it should, and a bit loose everywhere else. She touched a sleeve, making the blouse black, then dusted off the grey skirt. She picked up the jacket they sent with the uniform and slid her arms in, then let out a super girly squeal. "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! OMG I'M GOING TO UA!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!" Her older brother Nagito yelled from his room "SHUT THE HELL UP AIKO IT'S FIVE IN THE MORNING!!!!"

She rolled her eyes and yelled back, "WHATEVER NAG JUST GO BACK TO SLEEP YOU JUST MAD CUS I GOT IN AND YOU DIDN'T SO HA!!"

Nagito threw a fur covered pillow at her door, then slammed his head down on the pillow.

She shrugged him off and pulled out her favorite black thigh high socks and the matching boots. She pulled the socks on, then the boots over them. Then she pulled out her black nail polish and started painting her fingernails. "I'm going to UA. I can't BELIEVE it!!" She squealed silently, then she blew a cold gust of air over her nails. "Aaaaaaaand... Done! Oh wait." She unbraided her bun, flipped her head down, then pulled her hair into a ponytail. "Okay, NOW I'm done. Time to look at the final result!" She stood up once again and looked in her full body mirror, then smiled. "I look GOOD!" Her red eyes shone like blood, her outfit perfectly dark, and her caramel skin absolutely glowing. She chuckled, grabbed her bag and her coat, walked out her room and slid down the banister, then followed the smell of bacon to the kitchen, where her father stood. "Haii Dad!" Her dad looked up and smiled. "Mornin', superstar. You look KILLER!" She squealed yet again. "Thanks dad! Is that my favorite food I smell?" Her dad nodded. "Yep! Special breakfast for my special kitten on her special day!!! Oh, but you better hurry. You know the best get there early." She picked up some bacon, and started chewing. "Oh don't worry dad I'll be there on time. School doesn't start until 8! It's only.. 7:38?! Oh hell I'm gonna be late!! I promised Izuku I'd walk with him! I gotta go NOW! Bye dad love you have a great day at work I'll be back after school i love you so very much! BYE FART BRAIN!!" The last part she yelled up the stairs at Nagito, to which he replied, "HAVE AN AWFUL DAY, BOOTY BREATH!!!" She then threw on her jacket, grabbed her bag, and ran out the door, completely unexpectant of the series of horrendous events that awaited her in this day.

Time: 7:47 a.m

Location: Outside of Midoriya residence.

Objective: Get past bully.

Aiko, totally out of breath, stood in front of an impatient Izuku. "Ki, where have you BEEN?! I've been waiting over an HOUR!!! Ugh, we're gonna be late! Come on." He started walking, then noticed that Aiko wasn't following him. "Well??" She took a deep breath, then said, "Don't worry I'll catch up." She started jogging to catch up, eventually reaching his side. "Let's go Deku!" They then walked at a somewhat leisurely pace, until a sorta tall boy with blond hair got in their way. "Where you going, Deku? Gonna go CRY? Stupid little baby." Deku immediately got scared, and whimpered, "C-come on Kacchan, i-it's the first day back to school, leave us alone!" 'Kacchan' laughed, then shoved Deku. "Not so fast, nerd. You know what I want FIRST." Deku sighed, and pulled a bag with his name on it out of his pocket. "H-here.." Kacchan laughed in Deku's face, then pushed him down. "Fuckin' dumbass. Can't even protect himself." He then seemed to notice Aiko watching furiously, then chuckled. "And who is this extra?" She stood up straight and stared him down. "I am Aiko Makoto, friend of Izuku Midoriya." He studied her a little, then said, "Eh, scrawny little thing, ain't you? What's your quirk?"

It was time for Aiko to smile. "I don't have one quirk, but all of them. And if you don't leave my friend and I alone, I'll become a nightmare for you."

Kacchan chuckled again, then pushed Aiko down next to Deku. "Shut up, extra. Nobody tells Katsuki Bakugou what to do! Especially not a little weakling like you!" With that, Aiko reached up and kicked Katsuki in the knees, which made him groan, then fall to the ground. She pushed herself up, then bent down to pull him up by his shirt, which she noticed kinda resembled hers. "What is WRONG with you? Bullying two innocent teenagers just WALKING TO SCHOOL! AND NOW BECAUSE OF YOU WE ARE LATE ON OUR FIRST DAY!!!" She then dropped Katsuki and punched him in the eye, leaving a black patch. She turned and held a hand out to Deku. "Let's go, Deku. We have better things to deal with right now." He grabbed her hand and she pulled him up. They walked off, leaving Katsuki on the ground, in pain. "Ugh.. YOU'LL REGRET THIS!!" He screamed at her back, to which she didn't even grace him with an answer.

***************************************************************************************Time: 9:56 a.m.

Location: Aizawa's Classroom.

Objective: Get through the school day.

Aizawa sat at the front of the class, sleep again. Aiko sighed, then lay her head on her desk. Her hair fell like a curtain around her face, tickling her nose. She chuckled a little softly, then closed her eyes and listened to the little conversations going on around her.

(Author: I'll put who says what for those of you who knows the characters)

Kyoka J.: "Look at how pretty this dress is! Buy or Bye?"

Momo: "Omg Jiro you'd look amazing in that! Buyyy!"

Ochako: "Buy!"

Tsuyu: "Definite buy, sis."

Denki: "Dudette, what the hell is that?"

Mina: "I can't tell you, that's the POINT, idiot!"

Bakugou: "Can you believe that bitch's nerve?"

Kiri: "Bakubro, you got your ass kicked by a girl?"

Bakugou: "No, I LET her win."

With that short statement, Aiko laughed, silencing the class.

"What? I was thinking of a joke. It made me laugh. Go back to your little conversations."

So the class went back to their conversations, but the mood had changed from carefree to.. Fear?? So she spoke up again. "Why do you fear me, class?" She heard some surprised gasps and mutters.

"How did she know that?"

"Bakubro you got beat up by a girl >:3"

"Shut up, shitty hair."

"Okay, okay. SHUT UP!!" The class, once again, went silent. "Look, I don't WANT to seem frightening to you guys, in fact, I'm, like, REALLY nice. Well, except to my brother. He's a butt tho. But despite my outwards looks, I am very nice, unless you mess with my friends. Then I won't stop until there's nothing left of you to find. Katsuki, earlier wasn't even a LITTLE of my power, and was nothing but a warning. Other than that, I'm completely harmless! Any questions?"

Hands shot up, and Aiko smiled at the opportunity to get to know her classmates better.

Time: 4:12 pm

Location: Midoriya residence, Izuku's room.

Objective: Say goodbye to dying father.

"So, uhh, what do we, like, do?"

*buzz buzz* Call from: Pro Hero Emergency Department. Accept the call? *buzz buzz*

Aiko held out a hand to Izuku, then picked up.

(The following conversation takes place between Nurse Angela Mizaki and Aiko Makoto.)

Nurse: Hello, is this Aiko Makoto, daughter of Andrew Macay-Makoto?

Aiko: Speaking. What is the purpose of this call?

Nurse: Ma'am, your father got hit by a car on his way to work this morning. He's alive, but he's in critical condition, and we're not sure that he will survive. Our best healers are doing all they can, but you might want to come to the hospital and say good-bye.

Aiko: W-what?

Nurse: Ma'am, he's asking for you. Please come to the hospital, and I suggest you bring some friends for emotional support.

Aiko: *tearful* A-alright I'll be right there. Please don't let him die. PLEASE!!

Nurse: Ma'am I'll do my best. I'll help you with whatever you need. Just ask for Nurse Misaki.

Aiko: Y-yes ma'am. We'll be down there in a b-bit..

Nurse: See you in a bit, ma'am.

Aiko: Okay...

*hang up*

Aiko collapsed, sobbing. Inko ran in, wiping her hands on her apron. "Oh dear, what happened? What's wrong?" She bent down, pulling Izuku and Aiko into a hug. Aiko, between gasps and sobs, said, "My dad got hit by a car on his way to work and he's in critical condition!!!" Inko gasped, then pulled them both even closer. "Aww, sweetie, I am so sorry! Do you wanna go pick up some friends, you know, for support? I can drive you all there, sweetie." Aiko sniffled and nodded. "T-thank you for your k-kindness, M-Mrs. Midoriya.." Inko smiled at Aiko so softly and motherly, making her feel warm and loved. "Please, hon. Call me Mamadoriya, or just Mama. All of Izuku's friends do. Do you want me to pick them up, Aiko?" Aiko nodded, then snuggled a little into Inko. "Thanks mama.." Inko kissed Aiko's forehead. "It's okay, sweetie. Izuku, dear, carry her to the van for me, please, while I get my keys off my dresser." Deku nodded, then wrapped an arm around Aiko's back, and the other around her legs, carrying her in a bridal style. He held her close and protectively while she cried on his shoulder. "It's okay, Ki. Just let it all out. We're all gonna be here for you, whatever you need." He swung her around to his back, opened the back of the van, and sat her inside. "You can come stay with some of my friends if things.. Don't go well. Okay? The class may be afraid of you, but they would never let any classmate be alone and hurting, okay? We got your back. You're family, Ki. We love you here." He crawled in beside her and held her close again, rubbing her back. Inko walked out the house and locked the door. "I got the keys! Let's go." She walked around the front of the van, opened the driver's door, and climbed in. She closed the door, and started the van. "Who to first, Aiko?" She rattled off name after name, and Inko drove all over Musutafu, picking up the students of 1-A. Everyone crowded in around Aiko, asking a bunch of questions. "QUIET!!!" She yelled. "One at a time. Don't overwhelm me." Denki's hand was the first to shoot up. "Uhh, yea, Denki, right?" He nodded, then asked, "If your dad doesn't make it, will your mom raise you?" Aiko shook her head, and said "No. My mom died shortly after I was born. It's always been just me, my dad, and my big brother Nagito. If dad dies, we're both orphans. Next question. The pink girl raised her hand. "Yea, uhh, Ashido-Chan?" Mina sat up on her knees, then asked, "Where's your brother? Will he be at the hospital?" Aiko nodded. "By the time we get there, he should be there. Next?" Bakugou raised his hand. "Kacchan?" Bakugou grunted. "First off, DON'T CALL ME KACCHAN! Second off, where are you two dumbasses gonna stay if the old man kicks the bucket?" Aiko paused for a second. "I- I dunno.. I guess we'll go to an orphanage since it was always just Nagito, Pop and I. Any other questions?" Bakugou raised his hand again. "Katsuki, again." Bakugou snorted. "Well, I guess you two dumbasses can stay with me until you find a place. If the old hag is okay with it." Aiko giggled through softened tears. "T-the old hag? Who's that?" Inko spoke up from the driver's seat. "That's what he calls his mom, Mitsuki. They fight all the time and it's actually kinda funny. But they're all pretty chill as long as neither of them say anything." Aiko nodded. "Oooh. Well, I'd just love to thank you all for... Supporting me." The van pulled to a stop. "We're here, Aiko. Are you ready..?" Aiko started shaking, but she nodded. "L-let's go."
