In the last chapter:
Aiko Makoto started her first day at UA, a school for aspiring heroes, but nothing was going as planned. She and her best friend Izuku were bullied by a fellow classmate, her classmates were revealed to fear her, and her father got hit by a car on his way to work. We pick up at the part where Aiko, Inko, and all of 1-A are at the hospital, hopefully not to say goodbye.

Objective: Wait for father's fate to be revealed.
It took most of the class to hold Aiko up, she was shaking so bad. They all walked to the sign in desk, and the nurse looked up and said, "Can I help y'all?" Her accent was country, American. Inko stepped forward with Aiko and said, "We're here for a patient, last name Makoto." The nurse typed some stuff in, then said, "Macay-Makoto, Andrew?" Aiko nodded. "Yea, that's my dad. How's he doing, ma'am?" The nurse sighed. "Ma'am, I'm so sorry, but we don't think he'll make it. He already had an underlying condition, and he broke a lot of bones. He's a hemophiliac, so when the car hit him, it ripped through his skin and he immediately started bleeding. He's still alive, and there's a small chance that we can save him, but if we can, he'll spend the rest of his life in pain, due to the underlying condition." Aiko gasped and fell to her knees. "NO, PLEASE, NO!!!" Some of the girls crowded around her, comforting her. Bakugou and Deku stepped forward. "Can we all go see him?" The nurse nodded. The girls helped pull a messy Aiko up, and they all followed the nurse to Andrew's room. Aiko walked in first, sniffling, to see Nagito at the side of the bed, even more of a wreck than she was. "Oh, Nagi..." She ran over to him and just held him, and he held her. "Little sis, where are we gonna go? What are we gonna do? We know nothing but dad!! We NEED him!!" This whole time, her class had walked over and embraced them, everyone in a somber mood. Bakugou said, "We're here for you, extras. Don't cry. We all have your backs. You're one of us." The door opened, and Aizawa walked in. Nagito gasped. "Oh.. My.. Soba. Is that THE Shota Aizawa?? Also known as Eraserhead??" Aiko nodded, wiping her eyes. "W-what are you doing here, Sensei?" Aizawa smiled ever so softly, and said, "I came to say goodbye to an old friend." Everything went silent (Author butt-in: Yes. There is much silence UwU deal with it, extras.) until her father croaked something. "Aiko..? I-Is that you, my butterfly?" She pushed through the small crowd that had formed around the bed. "Yea, dad. It's me. H-how ya feeling..?" She whispered, trying to hold back more tears. "Well, I feel like total shit... But I feel better now that you're here, sweetie. Is your brother here too?" Aiko nodded, then waved Nagito over. "I-I'm right here, dad. Do you w-want something to eat, or.. Or anything?" Andrew tried to shake his head no, but instead groaned in excruciating agony, which just filled Aiko with rage. "Dad, do you know who did this to you? Did you see their face?" Before he could answer, Andrew started coding. The doctor in the back of the room made his presence known. "I need help. Patient 387 is coding." Aiko immediately started to panic, and pulled Nagito close. "W-what does that mean? Is my father gonna be okay?! TELL ME HE'LL BE OKAY!!!" Nurses rushed in and unlocked his bed, then rolled him out of the room. The doctor, in a gruff voice, said, "Ma'am, I don't know. But I should say right now, things are looking worse by the second. I am so very sorry. We will try everything we can to save him, but.. I don't think he's going to make it out of this." The doctor lowered his head and walked out, leaving everyone remaining crying, empty, and heartbroken.

Objective: Find someone to live with until Nagito can raise both siblings.
Seconds passed. Minutes. Hours, before a nurse walked in, head down. "Is this the family of a Mr. Andrew Macay-Makoto?" Nagito and Aiko stood up, their hearts falling. "T-that's us, ma'am." The nurse looked up, and Aiko could see pain in her eyes. She looked not much older than Nagito, who rested at the age of 18. "Well then.. I am so sorry for your loss, everyone." Nagito screamed, sobbing, but Aiko just stood there, frozen. Tears formed in her eyes, and she just collapsed, paralyzed by a pain that is simply unimaginable for most people. Everything started to blur, then went completely black. She left as though she herself was dying, isolated, alone, with nobody left to turn to.

Objective: Start new life without Andrew. (plot twist coming up)
Aiko woke up surrounded by her class. "Are you okay?" "You feel kinda warm" "Let's get you in a comfy bed." Questions and comments washed over Aiko like fire and she didn't even feel powerful enough to stop them. Tokoyami cleared his throat. "Hey. Leave her alone. She just lost her father and her brother." She remembered everything- Wait. Brother??? "W-what? N-nagito??" Momo stepped forward, head bowed. "He had a stress-related stroke shortly after you passed out. He died ten minutes later. I'm so very sorry, Kiki." Aiko felt herself just unbind as she screamed and cried and felt an immeasurable pain and sadness deep within her. "I lost everyone... In one day..." Deku reached to help her up. "That's not true, bestie. You have us. Come on, this place is sad. Let's go try to mend this big hole in that big heart of yours. Who's up for some pizza?" Everyone cheered and crowded out the door, leaving only Bakugou, Aizawa, and Aiko. "Dumbass, I want you to go home, pack your things, and drop them off at my place. You're staying with me till shit gets better for you." Bakugou said with conviction. "But-"
"NO BUTS, EXTRA. PACK YOUR FUCKING BAGS AND YOU'RE GOING TO LIVE WITH ME!" Aizawa chuckled. "You're not usually this nice, problem child. If you could be more like this all the time, I might be able to sleep at home and class would go so smoothly." Bakugou shrugged. "Whatever. This isn't gonna stay around for long. I'm just being less mean because her pops and brother just died. Let's go. Aunty Inko makes the BEST pizza." Bakugou walked out, followed by Aizawa and Aiko. Aiko, though she wore a smile that shone like gold, had the heaviest heart. She just kept thinking, "How could I let this happen to them..? I was supposed to protect them, and I couldn't even do that! If I let my own family DIE, how will I ever be a good pro hero?!"
'Dear Diary,
My brother and my father are dead, and I have never felt more alone. But.. my class is here with me... Katsuki-Chan is letting me live with him until I can find a place of my own. I don't think I can go back to that house, filled with their smells and sights and memories.. Maybe I can ask All Might if he could gather up some pro heroes to help me move their stuff to.. Maybe a storage unit? I have to plan two funerals, but I don't think I'll attend either. That would hurt too much. Oh, pizza's ready. Time for cheese and questions. I.. Might not write for a bit. Sorry. Bye..!"
Aiko closed and locked her diary, grabbed some pizza, and started chewing away her sadness.
