"Hell no" Eva replied
"Why?" Liam was baffled
"You know what your mother is like, and I honestly don't want her problems. I love my quiet life" Eva replied
"She won't know, I need to fight for my future the way you did" Liam wants to become a lawyer but his parents were against it since he is the one that will be the future CEO of Wills Cooperations, but he doesn't want to become the CEO, he thinks his sister is best suited for the job.
"Well they threw me out when I was four so I had no choice but to make my name, it's revenge and I'm still coming for them, I haven't reached my goals yet. So before I reach my goals I don't want anyone coming for me" she knows if her brother starts living with her, her father and mother will find out and make her life more difficult.
"Please sis, we can do the revenge together"
"Let me think about it, I will get back to you before the end of next week"
"Sis, please think about it and give me positive feedback" still in his pleading position, he looked at Lilian
"But sis, seriously why is your secretary here on a Saturday, looking like she slept over," he asked as he stood up.
"Because she did" Eva replied causally
"Oh you guys did girls night, that's nice"
"Nope, she's staying here till further notice" his jaw dropped
"Why can she stay and I can't," Liam asked.
Eva didn't reply.
Lilian was still thinking about what Eva said she's family, she has wanted to be part of a family, her parents died in a car accident when she was young and has lived with her grandmother since then, but her grandmother as also passed away, leaving her behind.
Lilian felt so grateful to have met such an amazing and beautiful person.
Liam went to check on Rosie, as they played hide and seek together.
Eva suggested, she and Lilian should go clothes shopping and spa, since they were less busy.
They both went upstairs to dress up and came back down shortly.
Since Eva's driver isn't home, she decided to drive her other car herself.
She doesn't really like driving, but it's not like she can't drive.
Lilian suggested she drive, but Eva insisted.
Eva got in the driver's seat, while Lilian got in the passengers' seat. They both head out to the shopping mall.
Eva loves shopping, she's such a girly girl.
She loves wearing the latest collections of the biggest brands and she doesn't mind spending money on herself and her family.
Eva drove them down to the shopping mall when they got to the parking lot, she was so excited, she couldn't stop smiling.
She dragged Lilian excitedly into the mall.
They got to a big brand store and entered. She was browsing through the clothes and her eyes were sparkly.
She found a dress that she loves and took it off the rack, so she can try it on. She went into the locker and tried it on, and it fits her like a glove.
Lilian gave her the approval that it was beautiful.
She asked Lilian where is the outfit she wants, but Lilian told her she's fine, that it's too expensive for her, but Eva told her not to worry, that she's paying.
After shopping, they decided to go to the spa.
When they got to the spa, they were greeted by the staffs. They decided to get their nails done first before having a massage.
When they got to the nails section, Eva recognises the faces that she was least expecting, her mother and her friends were already getting their nails done.
She couldn't turn back because they've seen her already.
"Won't you greet us, you spoilt brat" Sophia Williams spoke with annoyance
"I was about too Mrs Williams"
"How rude, is that how I thought you to relate with your elders" her mother was trying to scold Eva because of her friends
Her mother coughed and was a little bit embarrassed
"Well mother, you didn't teach me anything, have you forgotten you abandoned me when I was four years old" Sophia was about 17years when she had Eva, but because she had given birth at a young age, her parents disowned her and told her to go find a job since she can have a baby, she can also fend for herself. She struggled a lot being a new mother and always blame Eva for ruining her life, the love her parents gave her disappeared the moment she got pregnant.
She later got married to her father three years later and found out she was pregnant again, but this time around it was different because they were expecting a boy, who would be the heir to the company later in future.
The moment she gave birth to her son Liam, all the remaining affection she had for Eva shifted to Liam.
They moved to their new mansion when they had Liam when they forgot Eva at their previous house. They didn't remember her until a week later when Noah's parents came to visit.
When they found Eva, she was already unconscious and was admitted to the hospital. Sophia didn't even apologise, she kept blaming Eva for not following them to the new house.
"Ermm, I was young then, and I didn't know what I was doing" despite saying all that, she never apologised to Eva for abandoning her.
"Anyways Ms Sophia Williams, I'm here to enjoy myself with my friend. I can see you've got yours as well, so please DO NOT DISTURB ME" Eva said as she continued walking to the empty seat and Lilian only bow to Eva's mom and follow Eva.
Sophia was so angry at the manner and attitude, Eva approached her in the presence of her friends. She felt embarrassed.
She turned to her friends and said
"Children of now this century" she chuckled awkwardly
Her friends nodded.
One of her friends Mrs Pepe, who is always envious of Sophia, wanted to rub more salt on her wound.
"Has your granddaughter father come to see his child?" She asked
"Hmm, yes he has" she replied awkwardly
"But I heard, your daughter doesn't even know who the father is, what a disgrace to womanhood" Mrs Pepe continued
Eva and Lilian could hear all the conversation because they were not far from them.
