Chapter 41

As they got to the office, it was chaotic. Eva and Lillian were wondering what was going on, as the staffs were looking at them with some kind of eyes.

Eva and Lillian got into Eva's office, as Gary came in with his tab.

"Big Sis, there's a headline about you saying you sleep with men to run your business"

"Wait What?" Lillian was shocked

"Oh you've got a headline to Sis Lily, it says you sleep with rich men for money as and that you are a husband snatcher... basically they are calling you a prostitute"

"What?" Lillian couldn't understand what was going on.

Eva was shocked but remained calm

"Which journalist company printed it out?" Eva asked

"Mito broadcasting station" Gary replied. They are one of the biggest celebrity gossip TV stations.

"I have already made attempt to contact them, for them to take it down, but they are refusing" Gary was already getting frustrated.

"Big sis, I have a suggestion though, I have a friend that can help take it down" he continued

"Let me see the video," Eva asked Gary to show her the content, but when he tried to click on the link, it wasn't giving him access to watch the content, it says video deleted.

"Big Sis, did you do something invisible? the video has been deleted," Gary said excitedly

"Really, obviously I didn't do anything" Eva was relieved but couldn't help but wonder who could have ordered the video to be deleted.

Lillian was still in shock and she remembered the conversation she had with Sara and couldn't help but wonder that people really think their company is full of sluts.

"They are trying to ruin the company's reputation" Lillian mumbled

"Don't worry, they won't be able to do that. We need to find out who gave them that false information" Eva replied

"I will get on it right away" Gary replied as he left the room to make some calls.

Meanwhile, at the Thompson's headquarters, the whole staffs were so scared to breathe, walk or even sit.

Addy heard the news about Eva, on his way to his office when he was about to enter his private elevator. He was so shocked to hear the rumours, so was Leo because he knows Lillian is not that type of person, so why would anyone bring out false information.

As soon as Addy got to his office, he told Leo to bring the staff that was talking about the false information.

When she got to his office, she was a little bit excited coming up to the CEO's office because she has never been there before.

When she got to the top floor where Addy's office was, she knocked and waited for a response before going in. To her surprise, she felt a cold chill down her spine as she entered.

Leo was the one who did the talking. His face was straight and cold, which was so different from his normal facial expression. The staff was so scared and worried at the same time because she has never seen Leo with that face before.

"Where did you get that information from?" Leo spoke with an authoritative tone

"Which... in...for...mation Sir" she was shivering

"VEES BRANDS"

"Erm... Mito... broadcasting... station... erm" she couldn't finish her sentence

"Ok, thank you for your time, you can go back to work," Leo said

Addy knew this side of Leo, he knows he can be super friendly, cute and annoying but when he is serious, a monster is awakened. Leo used to be in a gang when he was a teenager but since he met Addy, he decided to turn a new leaf. He still has a lot of connections with the underworld, and won't hesitate to show people, he's still got what it takes to be in a gang.

Immediately the staff left, Leo brought out his tab to check the information the staff just gave him. He watched the video with Addy and they were both angry.

After watching the video, Addy told Leo to make sure they go bankrupt and make sure he gets a hold of the reporter, and delete the video.

How dare they try to ruin, his wife's image and reputation.

Within minutes, the video was deleted, and Leo had told his boys to go capture the reporter and keep her in the dungeon where they torture people.

During the morning meeting, everyone present couldn't breathe because they were so nervous and scared they would piss off the devils more.

When the meeting ended, everyone sighed a breath of relief.

When Addy got back to his office, he wanted to call Eva, hoping she hasn't heard about the rumours but didn't. He called Leo into his office and asked him if the reporter is already at the location, and Leo told him yes. So he cleared his desk for the day as they left the office.

On getting to the location, a young man who is in his mid-twenties came out of the building to greet them and take them to the young lady that was brought in two hours ago.

The building looks like an old prison building with electric gates and wires, the fences are so tall and it is far from the city or main road.

The young man, who looks exactly like Leo, but a little bit slimmer and taller than him. He is Leo's only brother and sibling. He is the UNDERWORLD KING and goes by the name PHOENIX but his real name is Ken Dexter. Their dad was the underworld king before the General commissioner of the army force at that time, Gen. Stokes shot him, and he died on the spot. Leo became the Underworld King, but found a different goal in life and left before his brother decided to take up the role of leadership.

Screams of torture could be heard as they passed through the corridors until they stopped in front of a metal door.
