Leaning against the tree, kai's party resting. they took the bread from the inventory then ate it quietly. kai eat while closed his eyes trying to enjoy the bread, even though the bread is hard and only has a bland taste. kai try to enjoy it so it wouldn't taste bad.
Unlike Kai, carnage and sword masters didn't care about the bread they ate it while a frown appeared at their face. The Sword Master looked at the status screen in front of him while eating then asked Kai and Carnage.
"Hey, what is the use of energy? I looked at the stats but couldn't find anything related to energy in status."
Kai and Carnage looked at the Sword Master, then Carnage answered.
"Energy is used when you use a skill, there will be skills that require energy to activate it. According to information, energy usage in WoW is different from fantasy games. Here.. before activating skills that using energy, you have to be able to control it first" explained Carnage then continued eating.
"So you mean energy is used by controlling it?" asked the sword master again.
"Yes, you have to control it, otherwise you can't use energy. You will know about that later, just ignore it for now" answered Carnage while chewing the food in his mouth.
"Okay" sword master nodded.
They continued their lunch quietly. after resting and recovering their stamina to their peak they got up and continued hunting.
Without needing anything like orders they moved in different directions. Kai walked alone through the forest, after walking for 10 minutes kai heard a noise nearby.
filled with curiosity, kai walked over to the sound. there, he found another party hunting wolves.
a party that fights wolves consists of 6 people, there are 4 men and 2 women and they are quite complete with dps, tanks, and support. All jobs related to combats were in the party except for the job scholar who was now busy with quests and couldn't leave the city unless they reached level 10.
Job scholar is a very difficult job at the beginning of the game, they have to increase intelligence and build a foundation before the theme of the WoW game starts. but even so, high-level scholar jobs are very scary jobs in war, they have strategies and skills that can change the course of battle.
Because of that, a guild that intends to master the battlefield and reach the top in the WoW world will really need job scholar because they are the core of the war in the future.
Kai walked over, then sat under a tree and watched them. Kai watched their fight from afar in a relaxed manner, he leaned his shoulder against the tree to lean back and put his sword in front of his chest. he didn't look like he was in a forest surrounded by danger and looked more like a man at home sitting on the sofa watching action movies.
Archer from the team who shooting at the wolf faintly felt something, then he looked around and found Kai sitting watching them. he frowned, then looked around carefully trying to find other players.
After looking around and making sure that there were no other players, the archer didn't speak he opened the party screen then opened a chat and sent a message.
"There is someone watching us, looks like he is waiting for his friend to steal our monsters"
"Really? Where is he?"
"It's 4 o'clock under the tree, you can see it clearly, he doesn't seem to have any intention of hiding his presence"
"Could he be PK?"
"I don't know, if he wants to steal monsters don't you think it's better to hide than showing yourself?"
"It makes me more confused with his behavior"
"Let's finish quickly and leave this place."
"Good idea"
Their party began to attack all out, afraid of being ambushed by player killers or commonly known as PK in the game.
RPG game without a pk, that's not RPG game. but usually every pk will appear after the game starts running for a long time, but because their party focused on battle they can't think clearly and act hastily, because of that they think Kai is a pk.
Player killers in WoW can be seen by the runes that appear on their foreheads. the more players that are killed the more runes appear on their forehead and if the runes on the forehead are full and the killers doesn't remove them, the runes will start to increase and filled their faces little by little. the punishment for pk was severe they had to pay a large sum to remove the runes on their forehead or face, and if they entered the city with runes on their face, they will be arrested and had to be in a jail for a few days depending on how many are their runes.
Carnage is also a pk because he is in the assassin guild but guild carnage only do pk when they are paid, they wouln't kill for fun like crazy people.
Kai who was watching the battle saw the movement of the party began to change, he saw them starting to attack all out as if they wanted to finish the battle quickly.
Seeing that Kai smiled wryly and shook his head, there's many players who usually panic at the sight someone watching them fight. Kai's used to this, so he can easily tell the actions of the party.
Watching people fight is one of kai's hobbies in the VR gam. for him, this is a movie that can be enjoyed for free and real without any settings. Moreover, Kai uses a reality-type system which is the good one to watch someone fight. this reason alone sufficient for kai to use the reality-type system.
In fantasy, there is no reality-type system, so watching a fight is like watching animation, even though the action is stunning, the show is less thrilling but on WoW, you can feel a thrilling sensation when watching someone fighting. because the show is really like a real live action and not a movie.
Kai was just silent and didn't say anything to them, he continued watching quietly while enjoying it.
The battle ended after a few minutes and the party only glanced at Kai before taking the item and leaving the battle area.
Kai who was watching woke up feeling dissatisfied, he felt that what he watching was a trailer not a movies. Kai walked away from the area.
"The future battles will definitely be more exciting than this, with blood and corpses everywhere the show will definitely be even more thrilling and satisfying. ah... I hope that day will come faster" muttering kai with a bloodlust that shown on his eyes.
Removing his thoughts about the show that had just happened, kai's focused himself and began to search for monsters in the forest. After a few steps Kai also got a call from the sword master who found the wolf, they gathered in the sword master's position and started hunting wolves as usual. Kai's party does their usual hunting until the afternoon and they get 1 level which makes them go up to level 7.
After level up they decided to stop and go back. They walked back while looking at the map, and on the way kai's party heard the howling of a wolf.
The wolf's howl sounded so loud as if the sound reached the entire forest. Kai's party who heard voices stared at each other. Carnage and Sword Master's faces were filled with curiousity about the howling sounds, but on Kai's face there was only confusion.
Kai felt the howling that he heard yesterday's was different from today. if yesterday's howling was a sign of asking for help then today's howling was more like a grief. the sound of howling sounded sad like the loneliness that comes when the night falls.
Carnage looked at Kai then asked a question.
"What's up K?"
"Nothing, I just felt something strange from the voice" Kai said, shaking his head.
"Should we go ?" asked the sword master.
"I'm fine, how about you K?" asked Carnage who was looking at Kai.
"No problem, let's go" Kai replied, nodding.
They walked following the sound and had to take the wrong direction several times because of the sound that echoed in all directions. as soon as they found the right direction, they began to carefully approach where the sound had appeared.
Kai's party walked slowly towards the sound, as they get close, they can clearly fell the emotion of the howling. they got closer and looked at the owner of the howling, they were shocked by what they saw and a screen name appeared above the monster's head.
