Soren was getting the hang of the Royal life in Scoln, being the Castorian he was, he had barely left the Royal residence of Silver Sottinbrow.
News had flocked the rest of the kingdom that after a hundred years, the Castorian of the Crown Prince this time was a very young teen.
Everyone heard of the over exaggerated stories that Soren was rather a prisoner but the most captivating and true bit of all these was that perhaps he was the fairest person on the continent.
Ever since Soren's sixteenth birthday, he had never cut his hair and it had been approximately the previous month.
Soren blossomed and his hair became quite very long that one would actualy think he was a woman.
The fateful day dawned and Soren was readied and dressed in a thick silk and velvet dress of Green and cream colors.
He however wore less jewelry but rather felt burdened by the heavy headress that was mounted on his head to keep back his hair.
Soren did look very presentable to everyone and as soon as he was done being dressed, Soren was led out of the palace by Helren as Gerald followed.
The hallways were crowded as usual but when Soren appeared, everyone had their eyes locked on him as they curtsied and bowed while Soren went by.
Soren was led to the Same Golden carriage that brought him into Scoln about a couple of weeks ago.
He did feel some relief stepping into the carriage and there he sat With Helren and Gerald.
"Is The Prince coming with us?" Soren asked before they could settle down.
"Well, your Highness, it is the presentation to court, tradition here forbids you from coming into contact and even sitting close to each other.
His Royal Highness will surely be there but as crowds get a glimpse of you, only then can he be by your side." Helren replied.
"Very well then." Soren said.
At once, the carriage began to move and it was ridden through the Arch and the open gates of the palace.
A couple of carriages followed and once again, Soren had the opportunity to see the busy streets of Scoln's capital Aristograd.
Everything simply came to a halt as his carriage went by, he could feel the stares of men and children alike penetrating the glass.
Out of the corner of his eyes he would see the people smile and he believed it was maybe because he was very irresistable to look at.
Many in the streets resumed what they were doing as the Royal convoy passed and it made its way to a very beautiful Iron structure made from gold, the ride was only thirty minutes and surprisingly, the roads were wide and good enough.
The sooner the carriage had arrived outside the magnificent structure, Soren marvelled at its beauty.
"Weslow House." Helren said." The seat of all the members of court." He added.
"It is beautiful and short." Soren said with a smile on his face.
"Of course, it is just two stories high but it is efficient and secure enough." Helren added.
The carriage came to a halt in front of a pair of Golden doors where a set of guards and heralds stood.
The Heralds moved towards the carriage and opened the doors and at once, the man from two weeks that had turned up at the Royal palace following the arrival of Soren came.
"Remember, be strong and courageous like I told you yesterday, baronesses and other women of the Nobility are present." Helren said.
"Keep the head high, remember to smile and act like the world is at your feet and you are on top of it." They both said in unison.
Soren stepped out of the carriage and the bearded man held his small soft and fragile arm.
"Your Royal Highness the man said as he bowed his head and kissed his left arm.
Soren looked proud and pretended to be unmoved by the salutation as he quickly recalled the man's title.
"Mr. Prime Minister." Soren said.
"Oh, this way your Royal Highness." The Prime Minister said as he led the young man into the building through the large golden doors.
The sooner that the two were inside, there was a flight of stairs that ascended to another pair of golden doors.
Upon the arrival of Soren and the Prime Minister, the doors were opened and the trumpets were sounded and instantly, all the eyes in the room moved to them.
Soren who looked magnificent and every inch a goddess had all eyes on him and perhaps even the guards themselves along with the noble men and women were lost staring at him.
The sorcerers and priests also stared as Soren made the grand entrance of the century.
It was as though the Prime minister was absent and all the people smiled and bowed their heads as Soren went by.
Soren enjoyed the attention and he could not help but smile at himself and show them his perfectly white teeth Soren was able to make out the Presence of his in laws after he was seated on a silver seat.
The Royal family walked and came to sit on the left where there was a set of two golden thrones and a while later, the Prince Conelm followed and sat at the opposite end.
The rest of the house sat down afterwards and the King Valga proudly and confidently stood up in front of the nobles.
"Ladies, Gentlemen, priests and all of you Sorcerers, as we are all very aware, here comes the time for my heir to get married.
To keep our blue blood blue, to keep our name and pride, today we witness the presentation of a male Castorian in a hundred years.
That peace may prevail and that friendship might return to our two nations, both great and significantly powerful.
We acknowledge the union that will be there between our two sons, Soren of Endra and Conelm of Scoln as the ideal future of our great Scoln Empire.
In the witness of all of you and the gods that have comissioned these two according to our tradition for the charter of matrimony, I wish to present to you Conelm's future consort and Your Future Queen." King Valga said.
There was an applause and as Soren had rehearsed, this was the time for him to stand up and look at the crowds.
Soren mastered his own courage and stood up once again to feel the light of the sun through the Window resting on his entire body.
Soren sparkled, Soren glowed that every one was even more marvelled than they were before.
The applause ceased and perhaps a series of lustful thoughts from nearly enough people must have filled the air.
This was not the worst part of the presentation, the worst part of it was that Soren did not just have to stand like a statue and be marvelled at, he had to talk.
Not just any talk would do, but a sensible talk in the Scoln languauge was the preriquisite.
A silence prevailed and left tge floor for him and Soren felt everyone's eagerness to hear him speak.
Soren calmed himself down as he recalled all the Scoln lessons he had with Helren, he gathered every bit of courage as he interlocked his arms and rested them before his groin area.
"Ladies and gentlemen , every one present here today, I am very grateful for this opportunity that the gods have granted me to srand before you all.
I am aware of the task that lies ahead of me, the responsibilty I have been given and the duty that I must fulfill.
The state of affairs by which I must abide is not to be strange to me nor the ways and the conduct of you all.
I am not a foreigner that I am by blood but I believe by marrying your king I shall be one of you.
I shall stand for you, I shall not fall short of my expectations and as my position in this country and great nation shall demand, I shall forever stand diligent for whatever sacrifice.
I shall strive in my conduct, my effort to understand you more and serve the future King with all my might, for as long as I live to the very time I shall breathe my last, I solemnly promise that I shall be good." Soren said.
He curtsied to the house and sat down feeling relieved, a perfect speech in Scoln, Soren's primary aims would be achieved.
People had barely realised that his short speech was over and suddenly, the crowds inside erupted with an applause.
The King, the Queen were all impressed with this oratory skill that had been unravelled in the young Soren.
Soren sighed careful not to let it show that much but he was sure, he had done it perfectly.
Later that afternoon, Soren and the rest of the Imperial family stood at the balcony of Silver Sottingbrow waving to the Scoln crowds.
At last the people were having a clear glimpse of their future Queen who glittered marvellously to them all.
Soren smiled at the sight forgetting about his own sorrows and transgressions as he blossomed in the limelight.
He looked at the opposite side of the King and the Queen where he caught the sight of Conelm staring back at him.
He didn't know why or how but all of a sudden, Soren found himself smiling from the very bottom of his own blissful heart.
