HONEYMOON

There was a knock at the door that brought Soren out of his slumber.

He was leaning on a very warm pillow and additionally hairy at that very moment as he took in the weak scent of lavender from yesterday.

Of course there was another stench in the bed, a stench of pleasure.

The knock persisted and forced Soren up that he awoke Conelm who was still silently slumbering.

"What time is it?" Conelm asked as he got up and looked at Soren.

"Never mind it, someone is at the door." Soren whispered as he got out of the bed and Conelm followed tying his robe around him.

"You may come in." Conelm loudly said and the door was opened as Gerald and Helren launched in.

"Your Royal highnesses." The two said as they bowed their head.

After a keen look at what Helren saw, he studied the wooden structure carefully before he shifted his gaze.

"Forgive me your highnesses but if I may ask, what happened to all the four legs of the bed." Gerald asked without thinking.

Soren coughed imterruptingly as Gerald felt an elbow striking his lower abdomen.

"Well nothing." Gerald said once again as the eyes studied the bed area which looked to have been a bloody battlefield at that very moment.

"Well, forgive me kindly, I did not mean to get so nosy." Gerald added.

"Helren, get the whole bed replaced with a stronger one by the carpenter, after all, we might need it when we return." Conelm said.

"Wait what, he is not satisfied after greatly feasting on my defenseless master." Gerald thought and swallowed it hard.

"What, wait, where are we going." Soren asked desperately waiting to hear an answer.

"Well, we need to spend sometime away from the capital, it is a honeymoon and we are going to spend it visiting other parts of the kingdom." The Charming Prince replied.

"And why is that, I thought this was our time apart." Soren asked puzzled.

"Well, for other royals maybe but certainly not the future imperial couple, our duties outweigh our desires and leisure.

People far in the land need to have a glimpse of their future queen." Conelm replied.

"I get it is that important, well, it is just that where I come from it is a whole lot different." Soren said.

"I am sure that you shall certainly love it my dear." Conelm replied.

Approaching the latter morning hours of the day, the two were on a carriage as they rode out into the Western country side.

Soren embraced the one valuable thing that he had managed to get from his mother as a token of her love and an assurance to show that wherever he was, she most certainly loved her.

It was a very big book with an indigo covering, its pages were blank except for the very first one which had a beautiful message highlited in one of the most beautiful cursive handwritings.

My dearest child, how big you have grown, it feels as though it was yesterday when I held you in these tender loving arms of mine.

I certainly miss you so much but fate had it this way, I know that your new life may be full of hurdles but you must never give up.

Your life is going to be filled with adventure and every good story deserves to be written down in here.

Sincerely

Mama.

Soren simply smiled as he took hold of the very precious book in his grip and he admired it.

It really meant so much to him and quicker than Soren had expected he was starting to love his new life and marriage faster than he had expected.

The carriage to stop in the mountainous summits of Calderbury

Calderbury was a very beautifully green area with a few snow capped peaks that towered into the horizon.

The two were welcomed into one of the royal residences at calderbury which was a very beautiful house with a chocolate color.

The gate way of the residence bore a silver palet that hung above with the  words spelling out GREENSTONE HOUSE.

Soren loved the place and it occassionally go quite a number of people from the surrounding area paying the royal couple daily visits.

Everone literally got an opportunity to have a glimpse of the newlyweds that had grown very popular around the monarchy with everyday that went by.

Soren wrote down in his journal.

People here are very hospitable to my husband and i  given the fact that we shall be there future rulers at one point.

I am very grateful for this opportunity though because I am getting to know Conelm much better with everyday that goes by.

He sure is a very jolly person at some point given that he is not being restricted by any royal duties at the moment.

He loves to joke around like some ten year old child but he does not look as serious as he used to when I first met him.

This makes me believe that deep down inside, he has a soul, something that I actually doubted before and perhaps he loves me as much as he said he did.

This way I am also able to see some of the beauty of Scoln, surely it may not look very much like home but I might grow to love it with time like Endra.

Soren after noting that down was suddenly taken from that place and they travelled far to the North once in while stoppung by a seried of small towns big tradung centres and some villages.

Soren continued to give an account of the lives that the people that were in these places lived.

The people in the monarchy live fairly comfortably but there are those children who were so excited to have us pay them a visit.

It is very surprising indeed that only a few people get the chance to see ttheir future monarchs, there is indeed a lot that needs to be done

The people in the slums are very poor and live veru miserable lives nearly like forgotten humans, they could use some help from the government.

Living out here could only get better if we were not surrounded by very many eyes all envying us for our luxuries

One can clearly tell that the people don't look too comfortable with us being there.

It is very cold this side and the people live in very small and poorly constructed houses which makes me worry for their own wellbeing.

So much still neefs to be done for the kingdom but I wonder how I can be of help to all these people at this moment when I must remain polittically neutral in all the state affairs of monarchy.

Soren was inded allowing the passion between Conelm and himself to blossom given that the two actually took rides together and watched many sunsets together in each others company while they even played hide and seek on  the gentle southeren floss.

It was no better way of spending the early and the sweet free days of romance together.

This was establishing a bond and a connection between the two and perhaps the two months were worth it.

At the end of sixty two days, the Royal couple from visiting the different parts of the monarchy was returning to the capital of aristograd.

Soren cuddled in the arms of Conelm as he watched the beauty of the scoln country side passing by their carriage.

"Dod you love it, somrtime outside the palace walls?" Conelm asked.

"Well ,i surely did, thank you ao much Con." Soren said as he tightly hugged conelm who responded by tightly returning the hug with one exceptionally warm peck on Sorens forehead.

"I shall certainly do anything for you my sweet and dear Rennie."

Conelm replied.

The carriage continued and at a distance, the two could make out the beautiful capital that was filled with the noises pf people and carriages.

"Welcome home my dear, not quite the pleasant salutation but home sweet home.' conelm said as they rode through the wide but crowded busy streets to Silver Sottinbrow palace.

It was as though everything had suddenly stopped to witness the return of the royal couple to their residence.

Soren had a lot on his mind at that very moment and he could not stop thinking about what he had seen in the two months away.

He took a very careful look of the capital, perhaps the reason why the King could not notice the poor state of people in the other parts of the monarchy was because he was surrounded by development.

People in the capital lived well off because they literally aquired the best social services and this could have perhaps blinded most rulers.

"What is the matter Ren?" Conelm asked as he carefully studied Soren's mind lost elsewhere he could not comprehend.

"Nothing." Soren lied and replied as their carriage slowly approached the gates of the very place that their honeymoon story had began.
