Chapter 2

Lily's POV

Today was the day of school. Tony said he got us about an hour extra of time because today was my first day. I packed up and got ready to go but then dad came into the room.

Strange: Stay safe out there, okay? But have fun too.

Lily: I know, I will.

We both go out into the lounge and everyone is waiting.

Lily: Mr. Stark, Question.

Tony: Yes?

Lily: Do the people at school know the Peter is an avenger?

Peter: Yea I just don't use my powers that much at school.

Lily: Then am I allowed to show my powers?

Tony: You are but just like Peter said, don't use it carelessly. Just be careful.

Lily: Ok.

Peter: Ready?

Tony: I'll be driving you today.

Tony gets up and we follow him outside. We get in the car and we drive to school. Once we get there, we are overrun with students. I whisper to Peter.

Lily: What are they doing? Are they attacking us?

Peter: No they're just fans.

Lily: Oh great.

Peter: Don't worry, I won't let anyone touch you.

Lily: Thanks.

We all get out and peter grabs my hand.

Student 1: AHHHH PETER!!!

Student 2: Ewww who is she?

Student 3: Spiderman has a girlfriend!!!

We hurry on inside and someone is waiting for us.

Peter: Ned!

Ned: Ayy Peter! Who's this? Woah you're pretty!

Lily: Haha thanks.

Ned: So are you his girlfriend?

Lily: What no! We just met...

Ned: Then...uhh.. do you know who he is?

Peter: She knows Im spiderman Ned. She's an avenger too.

Ned: WOAH NO WAY! REALLY???

Peter: She's Doctor Strange's daughter.

Lily: Wait but I thought it was 5 years when half the world just disappeared. How is he still at this age?

Ned: Oh I disappeared along with half of the world. Then its been 2 years after that. I'm technically the same age as Peter.

Lily: Oh ok.

Peter: Come on. We'll be late for class.

We go into Science but then someone turns around and winks at me.

Peter: Stop it Flash.

Lily: Flash?

Flash: That's right beautiful. And you are?

Lily: Lily Strange.

Flash: Strange? Like Dr Strange?

Lily: Yea? Have a problem?

Flash: Uh no. No problem at all.

Lily: Good.

Soon, after a few hours, school was over.

Peter: Ready to go back to the compound?

Lily: Yep.

I open a portal to the front door and once we go through the portal, we go inside the compound. Everyone is sitting in the lounge except dad, who is pacing back and forth. He sees me and rushes over.

Strange: Are you hurt? Alright? Nothing happened?

Lily: Omg. Nat, how long has he been doing this?

Nat: Since you left. -_-

Lily: Dad, calm down. I'm fine. Peter and I had a good day.

Strange: Nothing happened? Are you sure?

Lily: Yes yes. Nothing happened.

Strange: Oh god now I can relax.

Tony: Can you though?

Tony and Banner walk into the room.

Banner: Something has just entered the atmosphere.

Nat: What?

Cap: Can you identify what it is?

Tony: I don't know. It's a spaceship of some kind.

Tony projects the footage on the table and just like they said, we see a spaceship flying towards the city.

Lily: Is that in real time?

Banner: Yep.

Cap: Suit up team.

Lily: Be out asap.

Strange: You aren't going.

Lily: Yes I am and you can't stop me.

Strange: Oh yes I can.

Lily: Dad please. We don't have time.

Tony: It'll be fine Strange.

Strange: Fine.

I get into my uniform and go out. We all run to the intersection and we see people screaming and yelling. They are running towards buildings and looking for cover. The doors start to open and we see tons of mutant creatures step out.

Cap: What the hell....

Then we see a tall figure step out.

Wanda: No...

Tony: Is that....

Vision: Long time no see friends.

Cap: Your outfit.

Vision's old original red, green, and gold outfit was now a red, black, and silver outfit.

Vision: I changed my look.

He started stepping towards us but dad puts up a shield.

Strange: Stay where you are.

Vision: Unfortunately, without the mind stone, I became weak. But I had an allie.

Thanos steps out of the ship and we all gasp.

Peter: There's no way.

Thor: We killed you!

Thanos: Yes and I have been reborn. Wanda, we never had a proper introduction. Vision talked a lot about you.

Wanda: No, you don't know me. You have Vision under a spell.

Vision: Oh but I'm not darling. I missed you. I'm sorry I left you....

Wanda starts to tear up and Tony speaks up.

Tony: So now what do you want from us?

Vision: We have come to redeem ourselves.

Thor: Yea right. Do you remember 7 years ago? We defended you with our lives and now you turn on us? Did you forget those years?

Vision: No how could I forget? I gave my Wanda one job and she failed me. She couldn't hold off Thanos.

Cap: It wasn't her fault.

Wanda: I tried Vision I really did!

Vision: Oh did you?

Wanda starts sobbing and Vision once again tries to step forward.

Tony opens his shield and his blasters.

Tony: The doctor already told you once. Stay where you are.

Thanos: How are my daughters?

Gamora: I don't know. Why don't you see for yourself?

Gamora and the guardians come up from behind us.

Banner: How are you guys.....

Star Lord: We saw something enter the Earth's atmosphere. So we followed.

Thanos: My Gamora. Nebula. You look well.

Nebula: Thanks to your disappearance, yea we've been good.

But we look closely, we see a little girl holding Gamora's hand and standing behind her.

Thanos: And who is that?

Gamora blocks and stands in front of her even more.

Gamora: My daughter, Astra.

Thanos: I have a granddaughter?

Gamora: No she isn't your granddaughter. Mantis, take her back to the ship and stay with her there.

Thanos: You've been living well.

Strange: Skip to the part where you tell us why you're really here.

Vision: We've taken over many galaxies during our time together, Doctor. Yours is next.

Strange: Yeah well you aren't getting it.

Thanos: Well we don't give up easily.

Barton: Then I guess we'll just have to kill you all over again.
