Chapter 1

Year 2018

Phoenix POV

"Love, wake up. It's already 9 in the morning. You have to get ready. You're going to be late." She said softly while stroking my hair. I can't open my eyes because I'm too sleepy. But her voice is like an energizer to me that generates my whole body.

I smiled while one of my eye is still closed and the other one is staring at her.

"Can i take a leave of an absent?" i jokingly said to her.

"No. You already used your monthly leave. Your father will be mad at you. What if he thinks that i spoil you being a childish hhmm? "She said calmly. While pretending to sulk.

I got up to bed and she follows me and then she walks. Just a few steps away,  i immediately pulled her hand and held her by her waist until she is infront of me.

"Hey, what are you doing? You have to hurry.... " I stop her from talking by sealing her with a kiss.

A passionate kiss.

As we break our kiss. She smiled and hug me.

"I love you Elianna" i said.

"I love you too Phoenix." she replied.

She shouted when I suddenly lifted her up and took her to bed. I was on top of her then stared at her and made a couple of little kisses.

"Why am I so addicted to you? I can't even control my own body. Did you used some potion? Admit it.  Don't worry I will not be mad at you." I said jokingly and gave her a wink.

She softly slap my chest. "Are you effin serious?  Don't you remember that YOU did everything just for me to notice you?

"That's exactly what I'm saying. I'm not the type of a man that do things just to be noticed by a girl. Not until you came. You change my boring life. " i said while making an eye contact with her. As i was about to kiss her again. She put her palm on my lips.

"You know what Mr. Dela Rosa you're being too cheesy now. You better get up and do your things or you're gonna be late." She chuckled and step out the room.

After i took a shower and got dressed. I went down and saw her preparing our breakfast.

She didn't notice that i was just around her and continue to cook while singing. I hug her from the back.

"My shirt suits you well. Can you wear my shirts everyday? You look seductive." I asked her and kiss her shoulder.

She is wearing my white long sleeves. And paired it with a short shorts.

"Can you please sit down. And stop being naughty. How can i not wear your clothes, when you always ruining mine." Shock flashed through her face when she realized that her voice went loud. She covered her mouth with her hand.

"Is it too loud? "She whispered and looked around. Checking if anyone hears her.

I looked at her the burst out laughing. 

"Hahahaha!! No not really. Because it was just too loud to hear even in the neigborhood. Hahaha!! " I can't stop from laughing because of her reaction.

"Shut up. Im embarassed."she said in a low voice.

"Why? You don't want them to know that we made love last...afhgpkhwq" I didn't have the chance to continue what I'm about to say because she put a bread inside my mouth.

"Just eat your food big guy. I hate you. I will not going to your house again. It's embarassing you know. hmmmp! " then she buried her face on her hands.

"What's wrong with that? We love each other. So it's natural to... " I stop talking when i saw her eyes glaring at me.

I laughed. And crossed my arms."Okay, how about we get married next year? Is that okay with you?"

"Are you proposing to me right now? " she said while frowning and raised her eyebrows.

I just shugged.

"Tsk! I really hate you! This is it?? No surprise? No ring? No music? No... No... No effort!!! Hmp!! " she said disguted.

I smiled at her reaction. Disappointment is plastered through her face. So I came closer and turn her around to face me. She doesn't want to look at me, instead she bowed down her head. And with that, I lifted up her chin to face me.

I am looking at her intently. Like I'm memorizing every detail of her face. While she can't look back.

"Look at me love." I stopped for a while before I speak again and then smiled.

"Let's eat. I'm starving. You don't want me to be late right?" With that i turn around and went to the dining table. I already knew her reaction and i smiled because i was right. She is so annoyed with me now.

"Eat your breakfast alone. I hope you choke. I really hate you! " She said angrily and rushed upstairs while stomping her feet then she entered the room and closed it forcefully.

I smiled while eating and imagining how her face looks like.

"How cute" i whispered and smile.

After eating, i went straight to the room where Elianna is.

And as usual she is under the blanket.

"Hey, You look like a cocoon. Let me see. Your face is just like ugly duckling because of your mood right now. Hahaha!! " i said while taking away the blanket on her.

"Go to work and Leave me alone. And for your information I'm not ugly duckling." She said angrily and turn her back at me.

"You don't want to face me huh? Come here." And with that I lifted her and put her on my lap.

"You know what. I like it when your sulking. You look like a baby.  You are so cute.That's why i always make you angry. Hahaha! " I said honestly and slightly pinch her cheek.

" Don't you dare tease me  Mr. Phoenix Dela Rosa. You know that even if you are handsome I'm not just gonna let it slide. " She said.

"Ahahaha!! I know. That's why I'm here. Don't let me go. Hahaha!! Can you take that blanket out of your body? Are you not feeling hot?  You already have a hot man beside you. " I proudly said with a wink.

She got up and took off the blanket.

"Will you please get out. Bacause I don't know if I can control myself by doing something to you. You won't be able to go to your office. I'm warning you."

I know that her anger is now subsided. So I'm gonna take this opportunity to take ad

"Come here. Sit down. I'll make things clear." I pulled her down and make her sit on the bed. I look at her.

"Elainna, You know how much i love you. If only I can do imposible things just to prove to you how much I really really love you. You know that I will do it. "I said while holding her hands.

"I know that. But... " I stop her by using my finger.

"Let me finish first. I will make a promise to you okay? I will surely marry you Elianna. No one can change that even the whole world. But please. Can you let me do the proposal in my own ways? Not just because you always told me about how your other friends experienced proposals from their boyfriends. I know how this thing is so special to a woman like you. So I want to make it as special as you mean to me. "I told her what's on my mind right now.

She seems to understand what i mean, she suddenly hug me.

"Okay. Okay. I will not open this topic again. Promise. I'm gonna wait patiently until you are ready. Sorry. " then she buried her face to my chest like a child.

I patted her head and lifted her chin.

"Trust me. Expect the unexpected proposal Love. " as i smiled she gave me a warmth hug. As she loosen her arms I immediately kiss her lips.

We were kissing passionately, not until she pushed me and stood up.

"Love, what time is it? You're already late!!! Get up and hurry. " She said in a shocked.

I laughed so hard to see her reaction.

"Hey Mr. What's so funny huh? It's already past 10am you're gonna be scolded by your father. Hurry get up. " while she's trying to pulled me up from the bed.

She was surprised when I pulled her to bed and We were now both lying.

"Phoenix. Stop the nonsense. Get up."she said seriously.

I smiled and said."Love. It's Sunday. There's no one else in the office just the security guard. What do you think I will do there? Join the security guard? "

"Really? Today is sunday?" She can't believe what she heard.

"Uhmmm. Well yes. Today is sunday dear." I answered.

She slightly pinched my ears.

"Why didn't you say? You also took a shower and git dressed. "

"Nothing. I just want to checked if you will remember that it's sunday. But you forgot" I told her as we both lye down under the covers.
