Sanctum Academy

"Blake." Hearing Shen say her name, Blake sprang into action. Before Raldo could react, she had slammed her arm against his throat, pinning him to a nearby wall. "Ugh… What are you doing." The two officers who were standing next to Raldo were shocked as they tried to reach for the guns on their waist.

"One Million Volt Vari." Shen's body flashed blue as electricity as he raised his hand. Everyone in the room, including Neo and Torchwick, covered their eyes. "Agg!" There were brief screams as the sound of electricity echoed through the room for five seconds straight. When the blinding blue light faded, the two officers' bodies fell to the floor, smoking.

Raldo's eyes widened when he saw that scene as his breathing quickened along with his struggling. But no matter how much he moved, Blake's arm didn't budge. He couldn't overpower her a bit as the pressure she put on his throat began to choke him. "Ugh…" He made a gargling sound as Shen looked up and walked over to the two of them.

"I don't know what's funnier, that this is Argus excuse for a Police Captain or that you thought you could Blackmail me." Shen gestured for Blake to let him go as she nodded and backed off. Being able to breathe clearly, Raldo fell to his knees, coughing. However, before he could get his barrings, Shen kicked him in his chest, slamming his body against the wall once more.

The air was knocked out of him as he sat limply on the ground back to the wall. "Let me know if my next words are too confusing for you to understand." Holding up Raldo's head by his chin, Shen's hand began to adapt a purple aura from Karmic Retribution. The effects immediately began to show as Raldo's body seemed to begin to deteriorate.

In a matter of seconds, his skin was already turning pale as a look of pain appeared on his face. His eyes became unfocused as it looked like he was staring into an abyss. Whispering into his ear, Shen spoke calmly. "Im in a good mood right now because things have been going my way. And I don't plan on letting some background character get in the way of that."

Pulling his face back, he stopped using Karmic Retribution and looked into Raldo's eyes. "When you go back to your station, I don't expect for us to see the police interfering in our matters again. Or else I will burn that station to the ground with you in it. Now fuck off." Raldo's mind was barely working at this point, and his body felt weak beyond compare.

However, the fear he was feeling seemed to act as his only fuel at that moment. He completely ignored the bodies of his fellow officers on the ground as he practically crawled away before breaking into a run. In less than a minute, he was gone. "We won't have to deal with them again, so please everyone, carry on with your work. Oh, and someone clean these bodies up."

The members of the White Fang snapped out of their shock as they sprang into action. Some of them were feeling slightly afraid but mostly amazed. "Well, that's new. I didn't think a person could have two semblances." Torchwick was clearly referring to the fact that Shen's abilities defied the norm.

People had seen his Devil Trigger basically transforming him into what no one could deny was a demon. He also had Gae Bolg seemed to have immense destructive power. And then his Life Fiber's paired with this new ability to use electricity? It defied all common sense to them, and Torchwick was eager to figure it out.

Neo also looked like she had questions but remained silent. Only Blake seemed like she wasn't interested. After all, she had helped Shen train that very ability for nearly a month. "Heh." Shen laughed as he walked towards the elevator on the other side of the room. "So, did you do what I asked you to?"

All three of them followed him as Torhcwick nodded. "Although Im not sure why you would be interested in the first place but yes to your question. You and your little feline- Friend can be transferred into Sanctum Academy by tomorrow. It took a lot of work to set this up, so you should be sure to utilize it for whatever your planning."

The elevator came to a stop at the top floor as Shen stepped off. "Of course, I plan to do just that." After hearing Torchwick mention Sanctum, Blake thought back to what Shen had said before about her joining an academy. "Now, you just have to do one last thing, and you'll get what you want." Shen was speaking directly to Torchwcik as he nodded.

"I know, I know you want to get in contact with that woman. I'll get right on it since you plan on working me to the bone. Just don't make me start implementing Labor Rights." Torchwick talked as he made his way down the hall to their right before disappearing from view. Shen's eyes glanced over to Neo.

She was looking directly at him as he remained relaxed. "Neo, why don't you stay with Blake for a while. We won't be staying in this building, but it'll still be our main base." The two of them seemed to be in disbelief as Shen paired them together. Before Blake could say anything, Shen had walked off as he sighed.

'I'll just let those two go at it for now. I'll get them to cooperate together later.' Shen walked into a random room on the floor. From what he could tell, no one except Torchwick and Neo went up here, so he just picked one at random. It was a surprisingly nice corner office giving a great view of Argus.

Walking over to the window and looking down at the world, Shen rubbed his chin. "This place looks quite nice during days like this. It makes me almost feel regretful that I'll be burning it to the ground soon enough." Shen remained in that room, looking down at Argus for quite some time. Soon the sun began to fall as the night began leading to a new day.

To the eastside of Argus, a large towering building dwarfed all others in the city. It was easily hundreds of meters tall and wide enough to fit hundreds of people on the first floor. [All Students of Sanctum Academy, please make your way to your assigned classrooms.] A broadcast was heard loud and clear across the campus. Students began making their way to the Academy building.

One such student, in particular, was surrounded by the others. "Hey, Pyrrha, did you have fun during the weekend?" A girl had her red hair tied into a ponytail reaching down to her waist. Her eyes were emerald and shone like gems as a smile remained plastered on her face. "It was fine, although a little busy." The people around here were sticking to her like glue as they spoke.

"Oh, I saw you on TV yesterday. Where are you doing another commercial?"

"Pyrrha, your team, still not been decided? Do you want me to join you?"

Voices assaulted her ears from all sides as Pyyrha kept smiling before speaking. "Im a bit tired still, so if we can talk later, I would appreciate it." Everyone around her looked a bit disappointed but stopped following her. "You made her uncomfortable with all your questions!" One of the students yelled at another. "What? No, I didn't! You were just being stifling!"

Pyrrha sighed to herself as she heard the arguing behind her. However, a distinct voice called out right behind her a second later. "Excuse me." Her body tensed for a moment as she smiled and turned around. "Sorry, but I would like to be left al-" Before she could finish speaking, she spotted someone.

Shen had a friendly look on his face as he held something in his hands. "You dropped your scroll back there." Seeing the scroll in his hands, Pyyrha realized she was mistaken and took it. "Oh, thank you." Shen nodded and waved. "Well, have a nice day." He walked away dressed just like a normal student as Blake, who was walking beside him, had a shocked look on her face.

"That was Pyrrha Nikos… I never thought I would meet someone like her in person." Shen smiled, glancing back behind him. "Well, you'll be seeing her a lot more from now on." Blake looked at him questionably. "I did always want to go to a Huntsman Academy, but Im still confused. With how things are growing in Kuchinashi City, shouldn't we have stayed there?"

After all, Shen was the figure leading the changes in Mistral's White Fang. The fact he wasn't in the Kuchinashi City could cause problems. "All you and the White Fang have to do is wait and see. It's all just a matter of time." Shen didn't give her a proper answer as he made his way into Sanctum Academy.

"Good morning, class. Please, everyone, take your seats."

A large classroom had places for over fifty students, half of which were already sitting as more arrived. Each row of seats was lined in an arc as the next row rose off the ground slightly. Sitting near the back with no one near her was Pyrrha. As everyone got settled, the teacher announced something surprising.

"Today, we have two new transfer students. Now I know it's strange considering all of you are going to be graduating by the end of this month but don't worry. These two were sent here by recommendation and are temporary, so it shouldn't slow down the class at all." All the students were still quite confused but didn't argue with their teacher.

Seeing that, the teacher smiled as she looked towards the door of the classroom. "You two can come in now." Walking briskly into the classroom, Pyrrha looked a bit surprised, seeing who the two transfer students were. 'Those are the two I saw outside.' Shen stood straight with a friendly disposition. "My name is Shen, and this is Blake. It's a pleasure to meet all of you."

At this time, hundreds of miles from Atlas and Mistral itself, an ashen-haired woman was speaking with her head lowered. Her amber eyes resembled that of Shen's but were duller, and she looked to be in her mid-twenties. "Master, I still haven't been able to meet your requirements. We simply can't gather enough support here in Vale."

Floating in the dimly lit room with all windows covered was a grim orb just like the one Vermillion Raddock had used before. The mature and calm voice of a woman came to form it. "The orders I gave you are simply Cinder. How is it you still disappoint?" Cinder hesitated to speak while clenching her fist.

"Originally, I had believed we could rely on utilizing a group under the name of The White Fang. However, there has been an unforeseen delay in their ability to provide. Outside of that, we have no one we can use in Vale to supply us with the resources required." Cinder didn't hear a response from her Master as she spoke again.

"But I do know how we can receive the support we require. I have been contacted by someone under the name of Roman TorchwickMistral. Apparently, he's willing to assist me; however, we would need to talk in person." She raised her head after saying that as she finally got a response.

"Hmm… Mistral? Perhaps your incompetence in this matter can be more useful to me than I originally hoped. Our plans may be shifted in target; however, they would remain the same, I suppose." After another moment of pause, Cinder heard words that gave her relief. "We shall delay a bit longer, I suppose. Make contact with this Roman Torchwcik. If he can be utilized properly, then we shall move operations to Mistral."

Cinder smiled as she replied. "Yes, Master, as you wish." Her face carried a hint of a smile as the Grimm orb before her cracked. It shattered as everything, including its appendages, turned into black dust. Having finished her conversation, Cinder walked towards the door of the room, pushing it open. "Emerald, Mercury, pack your things. Were going to Mistral."
