Chapter 30: Drop kicked.

"Grandpa Wú are you decent!?"

Qin Qianyu asked as she knocked on his door. She got no reply, curiously, Qin Qianyu opened the door to sneak a look inside only to find grandpa Wú slumped over the bedside stool.

"GRANDPA!"

Qin Qianyu flashed to him and checked his vitals. She noticed the blood splatter on the floor and around his mouth. Her heart started beating faster and faster,

"Grandpa, please hang in there for a while longer okay!? I've been expelled from school so I'll have ample time to conduct research and develop a cure for you. Just please give me a little time."

Qin Qianyu begged as she carried the frail old man onto then into his bed.

"Don't be so proud of being expelled! What on earth happened!? Who did you beat up?"

Hearing his voice sent a pain to her heart. It was indescribable to say the least. But hearing how tired, listless and frail his voice was, was enough for her to stop breathing in case her breath bowled him over.

"I didn't, but I can't tell you why I was expelled, it might give you ideas!"

"Huh!? I'm so curious now, just tell me!"

Qin Qianyu sighed softly as she saw the soft pleading look in his eyes.

She explained everything to him, how the schools "investigated" her matter, taking someone's accusations as an accurate account of her misdeeds and how it also involved grandpa Wú himself.

"So you see, the school expelled me because according to this guy you're my sugar daddy and that jogger park stalker is what you look like."

"Your right! I am getting ideas now!"

"Hih! Grandpa stop talking nonsense! Who wants to be your sugar baby Huh!?"

"You're the one talking nonsense! Hearing how they think of me being that spritely young man just reminded me of something that's all."

" . . . "

"Haa! Have a seat, let me tell you a story."

Qin Qianyu nodded and after cleaning off the blood an the floor and stool she sat down and waited on grandpa Wú.

"Long ago, there was a clan known as Xiaotian and of all the clans of that time they were also known as the weakest and were thought of as the most easiest to bully."

Qin Qianyu nodded along, she thought of the name but she couldn't recall anything about it.

"They lived in a secluded area, away from the outside world, however there was no need for them to leave the ancestral grounds of their clan. The grounds itself was protected by the lake that not only provided for them with food and drinkable water but also healed them with its magical properties."

"Grandpa are you saying that you can be healed if you have water from this lake?"

"Tsk, stop interrupting me, and let me finish will you!"

"Ah, yeah, sure,"

Grandpa Wú rolled his eyes at Qin Qianyu and continued.

"As the years went on, this lake and the people of the clan started wearing thin, so those still around started refining potions, pills, medicine and the like and gifting them to others as a form of paying for protection from other tribes or clans. Most of that went to a newly crowned emperor. However when the time came, he did nothing to aid the people of Xiaotian and they were soon all slaughtered and only then did he intervene. His goal was the remaining water which he siphoned off and stored away."

Grandpa Wú started coughing a little when he reached to this point, Qin Qianyu poured him a glass of warm water and had him drink from it slowly.

"Just a few sips at a time,"

Qin Qianyu cautioned, grandpa Wú nodded and did as he was told before he continued,

"100s of years went by, and that very emperor never aged a single day, he watched as his own power and kingdom grew, as it did, so did his fear of losing it all. When his people started seeing how their emperor never aged, he then proclaimed himself to be a child of heaven by mandate, yet some had even remembered the people of Xiaotian. Shortly thereafter, those that were in opposition to the emperor soon realised that the emperor had been hoarding the last remnants of the magical water of that clan to maintain his youth. So they planned to steal it all, they didn't really care what would happen to it as long as it was out of that emperors reach."

"Wait, why does this sound like the eastern version of the fountain of youth?"

"Tsk! . . "

"Oh haha, sorry, please continue grandpa,"

"Anyway, the last remaining jars of water were eventually stolen and hidden away, however those involved with the plot started turning up dead, one after the other, the emperor was the first victim. Seeing that his "medicine" was missing he couldn't take his daily one cup of the water. This caused a chain reaction to occur in his body, soon his body started to deteriorate at an astonishing speed. It finally caught up to its current age of what it should have been. He had turned into dust."

"Those that had taken the water however hadn't heard the news, they were too busy fighting amongst themselves over the water."

"With only one man left standing he entrusted the water to a young man telling him to destroy the jars of water for the betterment of man."

"But this young man didn't do that, instead he used it to save someone precious to him. Alas this action soon became their undoing as both the young man and his most precious where separated forever. So that's why if I had a pill made from that water then I really could be like that young man, but at what cost? Is it worth it? or should "it" just take its natural course?"

Qin Qianyu said nothing as she pondered over grandpa Wú's ending words, she was just about to ask something but grandpa Wú beat her to it,

"Alright, be careful when you head out to meet your final client okay, remember, you're not obligated, so if it feels wrong, it's only right to leave."

"Mhm, don't worry, if things go wrong I'll rely on the martial arts you've taught me, if it fails then I definitely won't be blaming myself."

"Tsk!"

"Haha, by the way, I've booked you in to do some test on Sunday, we'll leave for the capital on the day and come straight back afterwards. Okay!"

"Haise! . . Alright, Go, I want to rest now."

Qin Qianyu said nothing more as she watched grandpa Wú get comfortable in his bed, then a thought suddenly hit her,

"Wait, why did grandpa's story seem more of a confession than a simple tale? Could it be that what has happened to grandpa Wú's body was because of a scheme the government and the military came up with?"

Qin Qianyu then recalled the undisguised hate in his eyes that time they went to Shenlong.

"Could he had been made into a disposable pawn and then sacrificed for some stupid jugs of water!?"

She tucked grandpa Wú in and left the studio to attend her meeting with her final client.

Qin Qianyu went to the meeting spot and a row of 8 cars pulled up. Several men came out and formed a human barrier around her client.

"Woah! This guy is interesting,"

Qin Qianyu couldn't see the client as a mass wall of men came towards her.

"If safety is an issue we can postpone this till you've made adequate arrangements?"

Qin Qianyu asked, as she looked around at all the men that were there. However she was soon shocked when she heard a soft voice,

"Um no need, thank you. It's these guys that are being too overly sensitive about this, so, um, please don't mind them too much, they won't do anything untoward."

"Okay, were would you like to do this? We can do it here or in the car if you prefer."

"I'm honestly fine with whatever makes you feel the most comfortable in conducting the examination Lady Phantom Fox."

Qin Qianyu nodded, she now had a very good impression of this young client.

"May I?"

Qin Qianyu asked as she gestured. The man wall opened up and inside she saw a young boy around her age.

He looked frail and gaunt like his very essence was being sapped right out of him.

Two seats were brought out and both Qin Qianyu and her client took a seat.

Qin Qianyu took the young man's arm and rolled the sleeve up then rested it on her lap as she took the his pulse.

She asked a few questions accordingly and linked the answers to what she knew.

"Well there's good news and there's bad news, which would you like to hear first?"

"Go . . Good news please,"

"Alright, the good news is, I can can treat this with three sessions, over three days starting with today."

Qin Qianyu explained what she found in her diagnosis and the best treatment options for the boy.

"Firstly, you have an autoimmune disorder, this can be fixed today, afterwards go to any good restaurant and have yourself a hearty meal, you're lacking in B12 so eat more salmon and mushrooms, there are other essential nutrients missing in your diet also so eat more not less, especially vegetables."

"Secondly, tomorrow we'll tackle the poison inside of you.

"I'm poisoned too!? But I've been to plenty of hospitals, none have said anything,"

"Mhm, It's not hard to get rid of, but it's hard to detect by modern standards as it's easy to fool the instruments."

"Think of it like this, did you know that there are good cancer cells in the body?"

"Really!?"

"Mhm really, well I say good, what I really mean is that there are cancer cells that aren't dangerous. However, the instrument used to detect cancer can't differentiate between the harmful ones to those that pose no fret."

"Oh, I see,"

"So the poison in you tells me a few things, one it's coming from your food, but since you've been eating less, the poison is less. The other thing is the type of poison they are using is targeting your immune system which tells me they are familiar with your habits. The person or persons doing this I'll leave to you to figure out."

"Got it, thanks,"

"The third session will mainly be to remove any remaining toxins inside your body, and to boost the body's white blood cells and your immune system."

"It'll be better for us to meet somewhere you can rest the next two sessions. If buildings are out of the question then I would suggest you get a camper home."

"I'll sort it out and contact you the changes we make. Now, I guess I'll hear the bad news,"

The young boys countenance changed as he prepared himself mentally for the bad news.

Qin Qianyu nodded solemnly and cupped her own chin as she looked the boy over while slowly shaking her head.

Seeing this made the boy hesitant to listen, he tried to calm his nerves down by concentrating on something else, his choice, his eyes where drawn to Qin Qianyu's pursed lips.

"Okay, well, the bad news is that according to your bone age, you should be 16, however you look 10. So unfortunately for you, you're going to have to triple the amount of men you have in order to fend of all the lady's that'll be coming for your handsome self after I've cured you and you've been restored to how you should look like. Tsk! such a waste of money,"

The boy was shocked, she pranked him, his men where equally shocked hearing her. The young man's smile beamed brightly when he heard and comprehended Qin Qianyu's words.

After that Qin Qianyu started her treatment, it lasted around an hour and 45 minutes it total afterwards she gave a 5 form pill, immediately after taking it there was a stark improvement than previously. Even his men were shocked.

"Alright that's all for tonight. Remember eat a hearty meal, and I'll see you here tomorrow at the same time."

The young boy nodded in response. Everyone left to go their separate ways. Qin Qianyu was happy with this client, she felt that she made a better doctor than a biochemist and the things she's achieved lately to be very rewarding.

Once home, Qin Qianyu received a message, it was a payment of 20 million. She checked the sender it came from her client this evening.

Qin Qianyu's eyes lit up and she quickly tapped on her phone and brought up the property listing of the home and land in the capital she had been eyeing.

With the payment in hand and with the money she had already made, Qin Qianyu now had more than enough to purchase it outright.

She smiled nervously as she clicked on the buy now button of the property listing.

It took awhile but soon she drifted off to sleep happily knowing that her plans for the family have started to take shape.

The morning came and Qin Qianyu started off her routine. An hour later she changed into active wear and headed out to the joggers park close to the studio.

As she started her laps she noticed a certain person jogging in front of her.

"He's here again!"

Qin Qianyu saw the guy chatting with the young girl next to him as they both jogged.

She started frowning and picked up her pace, just as she caught up to them, the guy turned backwards while smiling and caught a glimpse of Qin Qianyu charging at him at full speed.

His eyes changed and went wide, he was just about to say something when he saw her jump in the air and gave him a drop kick to the face and chest sending the man flying.

The girl beside him was stunned as she saw what had happened, she looked a little upset and was about to reprimand Qin Qianyu, but she was beaten to it by Qin Qianyu herself,

"Sister are you alright!? . . Listen to me, don't trust a word from this guys mouth! Even if he's alright looking it's not worth it,"

The girl was utterly stunned again, then her eyes changed a little as she stepped next to Qin Qianyu a little concerned and asked,

"Oh, is . . is this man perhaps your boyfriend!?"

Qin Qianyu frowned with disgust clearly in her eyes and she vehemently shook her head,

"No way! But this guy is truly bad news, you should stay away from him. He's attacked me several times in this park already, look!"

Qin Qianyu showed the girl a wanted and warning poster of the jogger park stalker, the girl looked at the man on the ground clutching his chest and face then back at the poster on Qin Qianyu's phone.

"Oh it's her!"

The girl next to Qin Qianyu thought to herself as she gasped aloud and stated,

"How disgusting, Oh my heavens look! He's even got woman's panties on his head!"

Qin Qianyu's eyes narrowed as she glared at the jogger park stalker, she replied with hate and disgust in her voice,

"Yes! Those were mine! He attacked me during which he damaged a part of my bag that had my change of clothes and underwear in and the creep picked them up and . . Well you can see what he's done."

The girl looked down at her brother laying on the ground, disgust and mischief in her eyes,

"Sister what should we do, this kind of creepy guy, he's starting to scare me."

Qin Qianyu nodded in agreement to the girls words as she then added,

"Mhm! You're right! He's very scary indeed! Who knows what would have happened if I didn't decide to come for a jog this morning. You're very lucky! Come with me, let the police handle him, we just have to get ourselves as far away from him as possible."

Wen Wú Ping looked at his sister confused and shocked by what he just heard. He was still winded and could speak up for himself but he had no more time to think or react as Qin Qianyu gave him another kick, this time, to his chook and eggs.

"Ouch, sorry big brother, but who told you to be creepy towards women?"

Qin Qianyu took the girl by the hand and the pair went straight to the duty officers of the park and made a report.

"Sister, thanks for helping me, who would have thought that a good looking guy like him was such a creep!"

"No need, plus he's not that good looking, I've seen way better."

Qin Qianyu stated as an image of Wen Wú Ting with his wolf mask off flowed unrestricted into her mind,

"In saying that, you too are very stunning, but don't be in such a rush to start a relationship even if you think they're godlike."

"Hehe, sister has a sweet mouth, I like it! Haha, hey, let me treat you to breakfast as a way to say thanks."

"Oh, ah, okay sure."

Qin Qianyu's new acquaintance smiled brightly and held out her hand

"Great, Sister, my name is Wen Wú Ling, just call me Wú Ling."

"Sister Wú Ling, I'm Qin Qianyu, you can call me however you feel comfortable."

Qin Qianyu replied as she took the hand into hers and both shook.
