Chapter 69: Frightening Fox.

Qin Qianyu left the station with her parents. Once home she told them that she'd be in her lab for a while.

She went in, grabbed her pouch and a couple of other things from inside and left out a secret passage she had made.

On the other side was a property she had bought but not exposed to the others.

There she had parked not only the Advent Umbra but also a slew of other vehicles and motorcycles.

She changed into a refashioned suit that was like the one piece but the lower pants were made seperate.

She put her mask on and straddled one of a motorcycles there and headed back to the station.

She parked her bike right at the entrance which caused officers near by to surround her and hold her at gun point.

"Remove the mask and get on the ground!"

Her entrance caused a commotion. Many were confused, wondering what was going on.

Qin Qianyu needed to cause a commotion because she needed someone here to verify her and then she could go in and speak with teacher Mu.

"Stand down all of you! Let her through!"

The officers who had their guns drawn looked towards the booming voice and after they had recognised who gave the command they did so without question.

"How lucky are all of you! . . "

Qin Qianyu says as she scanned the officers, she then turned to the person who gave the command and continued,

"Another second later I would have taken their heads!"

Some of the officers scoffed at the remark, but quickly pulled it back in after hearing what came next,

"I know you can and there would be nothing I could do to stop it! But please don't, these men where only doing their jobs."

"If you say so!"

Qin Qianyu muttered, she looked at the officers once more. The ones that had scoffed earlier seemed to sense that what they all just heard was true.

"What a frightening Fox!"

The officers made way for Qin Qianyu and she entered unmolested.

"Why . . Why are you here?"

"Why I'm here for you handsome wolf! Haha!"

"Oh! . . "

"But tell me! Why do people want to shoot me whenever you're around?"

" . . . "

" . . Speaking of which, she's not going to jump out again is she?"

"No,"

"Is that it!? . . . You said so many words just a while ago, which I thought was an incredible improvement from the last time we met, now you've regressed into this!"

"I . . Ah she, she's on administrative leave."

"Oh? Well, hopefully she learns to behave. Anyway I'm here because you brought someone in and I need to talk to him."

Wen Wú Ting nodded and led Qin Qianyu through the station to the detoxification cell that teacher Mu was placed in.

She saw teacher Mu and saw that his wounds had worsened.

"What's all this then?"

Wen Wú Ting saw this and was as equally surprised as Qin Qianyu.

Wen Wú Ting lorded for the cell to be opened.

Qin Qianyu went in and checked his pulse,

"He's been poisoned!"

Qin Qianyu went about to draw the poison out of teacher Mu then placed a crushed pill in his mouth.

She worked it down with some liquid then she attended to the superficial wounds and the small bruises on him.

With the poison out of him, he was safe. She just needed him to recover and and wake but she had no time for that.

The on duty monitor of the cells said it was self inflicted when Wen Wú Ting called him over.

Qin Qianyu looked at him and noted how nervous he was,

"Really!?, tell me, do you like to gamble? . . I do, what's the bet that if the commander and I, were to take a look at the surveillance camera we would find a glitch to when this man went about inflicting harm on himself."

"I ah . . "

Wen Wú Ting picked up on the oddity. He went to investigate and found that the camera had stopped working awhile after Yi Ma brought him in.

Wen Wú Ting gave Qin Qianyu a nod indicating that her words are true.

"Ahhh! . . What are doing!"

Qin Qianyu sent the man to the ground with a roundhouse kick.

"What ever could you mean!? Isn't this place for sparing? . . So let's spar!"

"No . . It's a holding cell!"

"Really!? Tell that to him!"

Qin Qianyu says while pointing out teacher Mu's unconscious body. She needed answers from teacher Mu and now seeing him like this, she just wanted to vent.

"Stop this is a police station I'll arrest you!"

"Idiot! The commander of ADT is standing right there! Have you not notice that he hasn't said a single word of protest or made a single move to stop me. What does that tell you!?"

" . . I . "

"Here's how it's going to go. When I stop talking you'll start, ready . . Go!"

"It was superintendent Chen, he came in with a young lady, I've never seen her before. This man had and spat in her face telling her to let go of some girl."

"Do you know this person?"

"He's up stirs conducting interviews with PIT."

Wen Wú Ting answered. Qin Qianyu had a feeling it was that same one that had asked if she had an agenda.

"How pigheaded are these people!? Since you want to go this far over reputation! Let me use you to establish mine!"

Qin Qianyu said to herself. She looked to Wen Wú Ting and motioned for him to lead the way.

The pair quickly went up stairs, the people inside were conducting an interview with another person.

Qin Qianyu and Wen Wú Ting entered. Qin Qianyu recognised the man they were just interviewing.

It was Dr Cao.

"Commander is there anything?"

The woman who had spoken up was the commander for PIT. Wen Wú Ting went up to her and quietly explained who Qin Qianyu was or rather her status.

The woman's eyes went large, she stood up and offered a respectable bow.

Her subordinates got up and did the same as she got up, she spoke softy,

"The room is yours ma'am."

"You have my thanks Commander. I know you are all extremely busy with this SIC business and of course the tragic and unnecessary death of the young Cheng Yifei so I'll be as short as possible so that you'll be able to bring not only Yifei and her family justice, but all those affected by the scums of our society that like to hide like roaches but think themselves dragons and Phoenix's."

"Thank you ma'am, we try our best."

"Mhm, that's all anyone of us can ask for."

Qin Qianyu turned to Dr Cao and gave him a nod. He reciprocated worryingly. Qin Qianyu saw this and smiled at him.

"Dr Cao, it's a pleasure. Is your father well?"

"Ah yes . . He's well."

"Please give him my thanks. I understand that he had flew to Fenghuang with Mr Cheng and stayed with him in such a trying time. He really should be commended for his kindness."

"Ah, yes that's right . . How did . . "

"For someone like me it's not hard to know if I want to know. I'm sure the two commanders here can vouch for that."

The pair of commanders nodded in agreement to Qin Qianyu's words.

Qin Qianyu then looked around the room at the police officials that were still seated. They had no idea who this masked woman was, let alone know that she was just here hours earlier.

But they quickly understood that she was someone of considerable power and was ranked highly from the way these two commanders acted.

When they felt Qin Qianyu looking at them they didn't know why they felt a chill run down their spines.

"One of my people was picked up on the steps earlier today which is the reason why I'm here. He has information that I am in urgent need of but I've just come from the detoxification cells to find him beaten even more severely than when he was picked up off the front step."

Qin Qianyu paused then looked the officials over. Wen Wú Ting had been paying attention to superintendent Chen all this time and saw his unease.

"Side arm!"

Qin Qianyu commanded with a voice filled with power.

As soon as the command was heard both of the commanders presented their firearms to her.

"Ohh! That was a really close one, but I have to give it to the beautiful Phoenix this time round, and I'm not being bias because I like beautiful things either, you were just a fraction slower handsome wolf. Don't take it to heart."

" . . . "

"Do you have to flirt with everyone!"

Wen Wú Ting complained in his heart as he re-holstered his weapon.

The PIT commander smiled brightly as Qin Qianyu took her sidearm, checked the slide and chamber and released the safety.

"Now, there's one or more people in this room that knows what happened in that cell and most probably why. So I'm going to countdown from 10. If no one has spoken up by the time I've reached zero, I'll going to put a bullet through someone's head. Then, I'll go find someone who likes living, show them the dead guy with a bullet in their head and have them tell me what I need to know instead."

"10 . . 9 . . 8 . . "

Qin Qianyu counted down, as she did so, a few people started understanding the shiver they had gotten earlier. It was a sign, a bad one.

Qin Qianyu got to 5, and Superintendent Chen started causing a scene yelling how Qin Qianyu can't do this.

The PIT commander looked at him and stated nonchalantly,

"Superintendent Chen, she could put a bullet into the skull of every person in this room, us included and the consequences for doing so would be zero. The chances of her facing any type of punishment for anything she does here is Zero. The likely hood of anyone of us taking her life, let alone injuring her is also zero. That is her status. Believe me when I say, if a triple zero aims to kill you, you will die."

Superintendent Chen fell to the floor shaking and stammered out aloud,

"I . . It was me! . . I did it! Please don't kill me!"

The other officials were shocked. As were the the members of PIT.

"Hey Chen Qi you realise we're all sitting here investigating bribery and corruption within the force because a few officers and officials were bribed by that damn vice principal Zhao and you're doing just that!? You hid your face well didn't you!?"

"Alright, Commander may I have a favour?"

"Of course, please speak,"

"Great, can I ask that you reschedule Dr Cao's interview?."

"We have a majority of his interview we can certainly finish it off another day by phone."

"Thank you. Dr Cao, I'll have you follow this man, he'll take you to Mu Jiang you'll need to head to the hospital with him."

Qin Qianyu explained that the man that superintendent Chen had beaten was Mu Jiang.

Qin Qianyu asked the handsome wolf to send both men to the hospital. She'll head there after she had finished with the superintendent.

She asked the others to stand witness to the superintendent's confession.

Once Wen Wú Ting and Dr Cao left the room Qin Qianyu walked to the superintendent and stomped on his knee,

"Speak tell me everything!"

"I don't know much, I just did what they asked me to do,"

"Aaaarrgh!"

Qin Qianyu had picked up his leg and stomped down on his kneecap making his leg bend in a way it shouldn't.

She pressed in a few places on his leg blocking pain receptors in that area.

"Not just this incident all of it. What have you been doing, why have you been doing it and who have you been doing it for?"

Qin Qianyu wasn't playing around now. She had wasted enough time instilling fear into the man, now she needed answers.

First he named the people he was backed by, it was the Chen family, mostly his favour was asked of by the Chen siblings Mother and the siblings themselves.

Chen Yongqing had been scared that the family's reputation would be tarnished if people found out that he had antagonised Zhou Mi and his friends which led to Cheng Yifei being attacked by association.

But in truth, he was fearful that his actions would cause people to solely blame him over Cheng Yifei's death. He didn't want to face the ridicules.

The superintendent made it known that his mother and sister coddle him excessively.

"What involvement do you have with the smear campaign that's been slandering Cheng Yifei and her father?"

"None, it's Xiu Xiao Yi! Her family are owners of several media and newspaper outlets, they believe that by putting the girls name in a negative light would shift people's opinions in another direction. The end game is to make people stop thinking about her all together let alone link her to Chen Yongqing."

"None you say? . . Does New light charitable foundation not ring any bells?"

"I only provided a few men, everything else was Chen Yiyin,"

"That's why there were no arrests made?"

"Now Mu Jiang, how does he fit into all of this? Isn't he the Chen siblings teacher?"

"I don't know the full details, I just heard that they had leaked Cheng Yifei's grave site and organised people to destroy it. Chen Yiyin just said that he was there with some girl named Mingyu protecting the grave. He had escaped with her but she was caught. Chen Yiyin had followed him here and she wanted to make sure that he wouldn't be able to get help for her."

"Where is she!"

"I don't know, Chen Yiyin and Chen Yongqing want to teach her a lesson she wouldn't forget! That's all I know!"

BANG!

"WAAAAH!"

Qin Qianyu shot him in the leg. He rolled around the floor clutching the wound.

The others in the room said nothing, especially after hearing what the PIT commander had said earlier.

"Wrong answer, your supposed to say that you'll ring Chen Yiyin and find out where she and her brother are or so that we can trace where she is!"

"Y . . Yes! Th . .that's what I meant!"

"Set it up!"

The commander yelled. Her team got on it and within a few minutes they were done.
