Rebirth Of The Divine Businesswoman

Anna woke up at 8'O clock and did her chores, after washing up, she went to her closet and wore a casual dress and sneakers. She went to her garage and drove off to her family mansion.


After driving for half an hour she reached the gate, and when she was entering she could already hear the laughter coming from the mansion. 


When everyone was talking and laughing, suddenly a servant came and whispered something in May's ear after which she ran off to the gate, everyone was confused so Jason went behind his wife to see what was wrong.


When May saw Anna she immediately pulled her into a hug and she'd some happy tears, Anna was also happy to be her mother's embrace after such a long time. 


When Jason saw this, he teared up too and joined them in the family hug.


The trio went in laughing and smiling, but when they entered the other people who were sitting suddenly turned quiet and the talking was changed to soft whispering, Anna just ignored all of it and after greeting the elders just took a far away seat in the corner. 


All the members and relatives of the Halls family continued their discussion after a moment of silence. When the servants started to serve the refreshments, Nia, the daughter of Jay, who was Jason's younger brother suddenly said in a "worried" voice as she looked at Anna with pity and sad gaze, "Oh! Anna, are you not eating well these days after moving out of uncle and aunty's mansion, you suddenly look so thin. Look there are even bags under your eyes, if you don't mind, I have a friend who owns a spa, if you tell her that you're my cousin she will definitely give you a discount!" 


When May and Jason heard this, their faces darkened, but when they were going to retort, they heard Anna's mellow laughter.


 Everyone looked at Anna, when she said, " My, My!! Don't worry dear cousin I've been having full meals and everything maybe, just God wants me to be fit so no matter how much I eat I stay fit. And I work out too so if you want any advice on workout or anything call me but according to time because I mostly have a very tight schedule, but because you're my cousin you'll get an appointment in, one month I guess... And about these bags under my eyes, they are just the mark of my hardwork for the company and as you know the results, the company has been sky rocketing!! Thanks for the concern by the way." Anna just shrugged and smiled brightly.


May, Jason and Anna's grandparents were stopping the urge to laugh and Jay and his wife, glared at Nia for saying such words without telling them. Nia's face cracked and she wore an ugly expression as she sipped on her tea to hide her face.


Anna remembered this cousin, who hated her for her looks and always tried to embarrass her, in her previous life in many social gatherings she would mock Anna for the dresses she wore. 


Basically all of them were picked for Anna by Joannie so Nia would complete the other half of the work for Joannie.


Thinking of Joannie she looked around but could not find Joannie, so she asked her mom silently, "Mom, where is Joannie? I cannot see her." May replied in her normally gentle voice, "She said she has an audition today, so she apologized for not being able to attend and went away." 


Anna gave an understanding look as a response but deep inside she knew that Joannie wasn't up to anything good, but she was also prepared.
