NIGHTMARES AND DISTRACTIONS

In a bed, in the dorm rooms, Helga tossed and turned. Sweat poured from her face and the bed seemed to be soaked in it, her eyes tightened and her fists were clenched.

As she turned she whispered, inaudible words that couldn't be heard escaping from her and floating in the air leaving her two other roommates oblivious to her troubles.

A very intense shock went through her body and she seemed to spasm suddenly and then her eyes shot open and she sat up with a gasp.

"Gasp!! Hah! ~ Hah! ~ Hah! ~"

She looked around the room with wide eyes, trying to take stock of where she was and she relaxed once she was sure of being in her bed, not in a place with trees, and footsteps, and fear. She brought her knees closer to her chest and held on tight.

A breeze blew in through the open window by her bedside making her shiver slightly, she looked outside and towards the moon in the sky wondering if she would be able to get any more sleep tonight.
