Update...
The new volume (volume 2) is going to take a few chapters to grt into the real fight scenes, and may be a bit slow at first, but I promise it's going to be spectacular to read as things even out.

Once she got closer to the bed, Hakeem smiled and began walking around her.

"I remember you," Hakeem said softly, "You were there that day, at the mansion," he snapped his finger, "Of course, You're the one Quinn decided to take in as his consort! So you came to rescue her, did you?"

He smiled and finally stood beside her, staring down at the face of Helga as he did.

"But you know something. I know what you're truly here for. I know what it is you're hiding in the deepest darkest part of your soul," His voice was a whisper.

Thalia almost fell over when a voice came through her comms. She found herself desperately wanting to stay in place but easily managed to shake the feeling off.
