The end.

Mitchie and I were fine. She told me that she had no problem that her brother and I went out on Friday.

The history teacher asked how our weekend had gone and how Tyler is an idiot, he literaly told him in great detail about everything. It was unnecessary. gross.

I know I said I was not going to prom but I was reconsidering for Ethan. He had mentioned it many times, more than necessary.

"Do you want to go to the prom with me?" I heard Ethan say to me when I barely sat down with him at lunchtime. I sighed tiredly.

"No." He shrugged.

Ethan kept insisting on going together until Friday when I said yes.

I got my dress thanks to dad who gave me a dress from my mom which he had kept.

It was pale pink with thin straps with a shawl of the same color, an elegant bow had done the look. Ethan had arrived a few minutes earlier and was waiting for me outside the house. My sister had come to her senses after I told her about my story with Tyler and was dating the new student at school.

My acceptance letter from my dream university had arrived and I couldn't be more than happy.

The prom was great, we danced and chatted with Mitchie. I watched my sister dance with the new guy and she looked genuinely happy.

Ethan had told me that he would also go to the same university as me.

"Are you also going to follow me to college?" he smiled.

"I would follow you to the end of the world" I raised my arms wrapping them around his neck.

"That was soo cheesy" I laughed.

"I am corny. One of the two would have to be, right? " I raised both eyebrows.

"Oh yeah? Why?"

"Because you're my girlfriend and you're not the cheesiest girl ever." I rolled my eyes.

Mitchie would be at a university close to ours and the three of us would be living together in an apartment close enough for both of us.

As we danced together I didn't notice Mitchie running towards us, frantic. "Talía, your sister hit Tyler" I looked at her in surprise.

"What?" She shook her head. In the distance I could see Tyler lying on the ground crying, I laughed. "He deserves it"

When I got home that night my sister told me why she hit him.

She found out that he and his friends made a bet on who would have her in his bed before they left for college.

Oh, and she hit him for me too.

I knew I could leave home in peace, Dad and Bonnie would be fine here. And it's not like he needed my help before, at least my dad didn't need it like Bonnie did.

It would be a new beginning. A new life.

A new life as a girlfriend, as a college student, as a roommate. I laughed.

And I was ready for that new challenge.

The end.
