She is trapped in the clutches of her abusive father. She has no one. She is alone, constantly being beaten. If only she were a bird, she could fly away. If only she were to be rescued by the heroes. Her fate will drastically change after meeting a certain pro hero, a hero who could alter her entire world. Will she gain the wings needed to escape her hell or will she continue to live this self degrading life.

If I Could Fly Away

Midoriya pointed at an empty box in the middle of the room 


"You can put all of books in that box, I'll be donating those"


🧡 "Hey what about the furniture, what do you want to do with it"


"Oh I'll be throwing out all of the furniture"


❤️ "What about all of the pictures and holiday decorations, you don't want to keep any of it"


"Everything in this house belonged to my father, I want nothing to do with him so everything that belonged to him goes in the trash"


I was packing up what was left in my room , not that there was much to pack. Midoriya and Todoroki went out to grab snacks and drinks. I set my last belong in the box and taped it up. I placed the box downstairs and just stared at the empty house.


I turned to see Bakugou leaning against the door frame. 


"My worst memories are in this house, it doesn't feel like home"


"I thought I would die in this house, that one day I would finally get to leave this hell hole"


"...but because of you, Midoriya, and Todoroki I was able to break free of his chains that kept me shackled to this house"


"I don't know what's next for me but I know I can finally start living a some what normal life, and for that I will forever be eternally grateful"


I looked at Midoriya and Todoroki who just got back with bags in their hands.


❤️ "Midoriya is right we were just doing our jobs and we were protecting a friend"


💚 "Now let's eat the snacks we bought"


I sat down next to the windowsill watching as Midoriya and Bakugou argued over snacks. I smiled and looked at my reflection in the window.


The shadows behind me were whispering, but it was as if they couldn't hurt me. I used my sleeve to wipe the glass. When I looked at the window again it was just me staring back. No shadows, just me.


🧡 "Hey weirdo are you just going to admire yourself all day or are you going to come and join us"


❤️ "Yes please come and eat before these two eat all buy themselves"


🧡 "You better take that back icy hot"


I looked at them, they were all looking at me. I felt happier in this single moment then I have ever been in my entire life. I gave them the brightest smile and walked towards them.
